About Tignes Val d'Isere ski resort:
The ski resort Tignes Val d'Isère is located in the Tarentaise (France, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Savoie Mont Blanc, Savoie, Albertville). For skiing and snowboarding, there are 300 km of slopes and 20 km of ski routes available. 82 lifts transport the guests. The winter sports area is situated between elevations of 1,550 and 3,456 m.
Tignes and Val d'Isère are connected by lifts and slopes to form one of the largest ski resorts in France. The winter sports resort was previously called Espace Killy. It is located on the upper end of the Isère Valley. The ski resort and its slopes are partially located on glaciers. The Grande Motte Glacier in Tignes also attracts skiers in the summer.
The winter sports resort at the foot of the Pointe du Montet (3,428 m) and the Grande Motte (3,656 m) offers slopes of all difficulty levels for skiing and snowboarding. It is also considered a paradise for freeriding. The men's skiing competition for the 1992 Albertville Winter Olympics was held in Val d’Isère. The ski resort also regularly hosts World Cup races.

Thanks for posting this, Ivo. It’s the last run we did on our trip 10 days ago. I’d forgotten how hard the red was in places and how flat it was near the end, so had to do a lot of walking!
Nice videos Ivo, keep up the good job 💪🏻
Thanks! ... 😀👍
I've done that blue run at the top many times, but never that red run further down. Seeing those conditions, I'm glad I didn't. 😁
Hi Ivo, love all your videos. I might be heading to Val d'Isere this April. Any tips for runs on the Val d'Isere side, not Tignes side? Happy to stick with blues, or reds if they were not bullet proof in April. Thanks.
Thanks! In April you have to to higher to get better snow. The Pisaillas glacier area is good, as well as the Plan Milet blue piste under the Glacier chair lift is good.
@@ivokoimecs Thanks for the reply, will give those a go.
How’s the snow now? Thinking about coming next week
How can a piste with a 88% section be NOT black?
Usually you can ski around a steep section, but this time it was closed.
