Me whenever I start a new model
"On wow, such a beautiful model"
    **primes the model**
"On wow, it's even more beautiful now that I've zenithal highlighted it"
    **places the first base colour**
    "oh shit"

Excellently timed, I'm just about to start some wear and tear for the first time after years of pristine tanks and armour. Wish me luck 🤞

As soon as I saw the AAT CIS tank on the thumbnail, I knew that this video is a must-watch.

Drill a hole, fill it with a small greenstuff ball. Then use a paintbrush end tip and push into the hole for realistic armor damage.
Let's say the armor got hit with an RPG or antitank shell.
Super easy with great looking results. Just practice getting the angles right so look at reference images of real tank armor damage.
    Cheers!

Another short, sweet how-to that is very effective and useful to me.
I'm not liking the missile smoke pattern. It's all going too far rearward without going left or right. If you look at modern missile launchers, they actually don't register much smoke at all because they have rearward venting built in for the backblast. Star Wars doesn't live in the same laws of physics that we do, of course (ships have to bank in space to turn as if gravity affects them).

You should look for pincers which are working like clamps. Soldering pincers they are called in our country. And they have a quite fine tip for your sponges. Then you have not to tape your pincers together.

I once made a terrain piece for 40k and a friend decided to added battle damage by shooting it with a pellet gun. I stopped making terrain for that gaming group after that.
