The Unsigned Athlete: Lauren Gale

Lauren Gale is a 2x Olympian, representing Team Canada in the 400m, women’s 4x400m and mixed 4x400m relays.
She holds the Canadian national record in the indoor 200m (23.00) and a member of the indoor 4x400m record-breaking team.
After a lifetime best season in 2024, Gale now stands as the fourth-fastest Canadian of all time in the 400m.
Our mission with the Unsigned Athlete Initiative is to help her reach her fullest potential as she continues to represent the country on the global stage.
What is the Unsigned Athlete Initiative?
Funding for our sport can be a struggle. In Canada, even our athletes at the highest level deal with this.
The Unsigned Athlete Initiative is a push to financially help our highest-level athletes in the sport by raising funds to increase their publicity and helping them attract sponsors.
This initiative gets them one step closer to becoming the best athlete they can be, ultimately growing our sport here in Canada 🇨🇦
