Confidence is Cool 😎 Pride is ugly… A gentleman will always be noticed.
Gotta tell that to the TH-cam algorithm 😅
What up big dogg
It's not that crazy

that's wonderful Aubrey
You really in the wrong heat
@@CTFLofficial 😭😭
As a sprinter I like socks
Nice, seems like more sprinters like no socks with spikes tho
"im definetly a socks guy" like what
Worst physiques on Earth outside of national socialist prison camps
Personally, no socks, no shoes, fish flip flops.
Hot take
Yorku??
Yup
i dont run, but how do they not get blisters and chafing with no socks!? sometimes if i know im gonna be walking a lot ill double sock, no blisters with a double sock
Bro walking ain’t the same as running , and then a double sock ???? Are you good ? How big are ur shoes
I do prefer socks but yeah you don't get many blisters or anything with no socks, i do xc so without socks you get your feet dirty tho
This is for wearing track spikes for races
One time after a race I took my spikes off and on my right foot my sock was all red from blood 💀
Fire vid, edge sport u18 national champs would make for a good one too….
We can try to set something up!
No way ofsaa silver medalist Matthew Kmecz jerks off into a sock 😂😂
I'm kind of new to this, but what's benefit of removable spike pins?
You can replace them if/when they wear down OR put in a different style of pin (longer or shorter)
Previous iterations of the spike had non-removable spikes pins to decrease weight. In this case you are trading a slight decrease in weight for the ability to remove the pins when they begin to dull over time.
Impressive content, Canadian Track and Field League. Looking forward to seeing your next upload from you. I smashed that thumbs up button on your video. Keep up the fantastic work! Your insights on training strategies and race preparation are really motivating. How do you think adjusting your speed training frequency will impact your performance in the upcoming season?
Thank you for watching, and the thumbs up! Do you mean frequency of the amount of times you train or the frequency of your steps while running?
1:42 “Don’t do that Don’t do that” older brother intuition , you knew he was gonna say sum crazy😭
😂😂
yo never let the younger brother cook again bro 😭
lol 😂
Saturday long run!!!!! I love a lazy Saturday morning before an afternoon long run. (Even in the snowy winter, I prefer to do my long run outside, so it's warmer in the afternoon than in the morning.)
How about in the summers??
@CTFLofficial Still a Saturday long run but done either covered in sun screen and on shady trails or pre-lunch when it's a little cooler.
BRO DONT KNOW MATH LMAO (funny how confident he was)
Great content! I love how you break things down so clearly. Keep it up!
That’s at western university right
Yup
フォームかっこいい
He's clearing it with his feet but hitting it with his leg/butt going over
bro failed successfully
😂
8/10
6/10 for knocking almost all of them over😂
@WinGoLighter i meant 8/10 knocked over
@ oh lol my bad😭
Great insights into this behind the scenes of the infamous NB track and centre. Thanks Alex
aint never heard anyone say their favorite workout is lactate acid
Some people are just built different 🤷♂️
Bro casually does this all in 15 seconds 😂😂
Is this gonna screw ma knees
Me personally i cant walk straight no more
Depends on your mechanics

Has to be CAN's best group of female quarter-milers since the 80s; Gale, Sherar, Constantine, McDonald, Sutherland, Price, Conrad, Marsh etc. Should be looking to push each other to break both 49.91 400m & 3.21.21 4x4 NRs over the next yr or two!
Completely agree, definitely one of the deepest events in Canada at the moment! Who do you think is going to break 50.00 first?
@CTFLofficial Most likely Gale as she's the closest with her 50.47 PB just ahead of Sherar's 50.79, but it'd be good to see Constantine & McDonald rise to the challenge & run a PB for the 1st time since '21. Sutherland's focused on the 400mH but could run a big 400m PB if it was her primary event!
@@CTFLofficial With the M4x1, W4x1 & W4x4 all essentially consistent & reliable Finalists @Global Champs, would be nice to see the M4x4 join them esp with the emergence of 20yr old NR Holder Christopher Morales-Williams (44.05) which would require the likes of Misener-Daley (45.25), Flood (45.31), Cole (45.51), George (45.54) & 400m Hurdler Metivier (48.89) to level up which in turn will help provide the depth for the Mixed 4x4!

Daniel is one of the guys I was rooting for this years track and field competitions in Canada. Eariler this year, he went 22.27 seconds in the 200m at that training area shown in the video. When it came to OFSAA championships, he only managed to run 21.49 seconds which is still a respectable time, I feel like Daniel could have ran way faster, maybe in the 21.0-21.2 range, but overall he had a good performance this year.
❤❤
I raced here before
Don't lie
Cool. I used to know Jillian Richardson when i was in Calgary. I live in Ottawa now. Great sport.
Nice! Such an impressive Canadian record she has
legit my swimming workout for 50 m sprints😂
lol probably different purpose tho
An 800m workout should have more volume than that
Depends on the purpose
im done after 4x200m
😂😂
Live, love, Lauren 😍😍
Quinn>Quinn
😂😂
4:30 mile pace? She loves to crank it up in that last lap
Spikes on concrete
That's a good one
You know that the 400m is hard when XC kids dread it
@@Just_Gent we think everyone dreads doing a 400m, even the 400m specialists
@@CTFLofficial My coach always used to put me on the 4x4 and I joined distance just to escape it. Now I’m the best distance runner of my whole school and am still afraid of the 400.
@@Just_Gent that sounds about right 😂 congratulations on becoming the best distance athlete at your school!
I was about to do some research on the ventilatory response of peripheral chemoreceptors to hypercapnia during exercise above the respiration compensation point specifically written by Aaron J. Thompson. Any suggestions?
Don’t want to spoil a good read but I think you’ll find quickly that there wasn’t a significant change in peripheral hypercapnic chemosensitivity above the respiratory compensation point, but it was interesting that they found a strong relationship within one of the methodological stages, but I’ll save that for you to find out. Just a suggestion
Are we rocking socks in spikes?
So far we've got two "never"s
Not that fast. Looks like a fast jog
Put a speed to it
Yes the 400m is pain for cross country we sometimes do track workouts and our coaches always tell us to go all out on the last run of the workout usually 400m I was flying through the first 300m and in the last 50 to 100m I was screaming in my head in the end I had 1:05 my best 400m was in track and field it's 1:01
Sounds tough. The advice here might be a bit different than when you’re doing it at the end of your workout
@@CTFLofficial it definitely should thank you
Interesting. Going all out for 80m seems like a bit much. But whatever works best for you
"Building up to max velocity" might be a better way to put it. Plus his strength is his front half of the race so taking advantage of his acceleration and max speed is key for him
Unc knows best
Couldn’t have said it better myself
Thank you verymuch. 👍🙏👏👏👏🏃🌹♥️♥️♥️🌷🌠🌹♥️🥇🏃♥️🌹🌠💫🌌😘
