I have the teal color of this case. Love it. Got a second hand Ryzen 5 3600, a B550 itx mobo and recently upgrade to a 6500XT from a GT1030. Very happy with it.

I built a 'little' ITX build with an Aorus B450 WiFi board, 2400g and using a Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ITX case so I could use a cheaper full size PSU. It means I can throw in an RX 570 and have a nice little gamer.

For a budget small form factor PC I got an old off lease Acer TC 885, ripped everything but the motherboard and CPU out of it and put in a new EVGA 650 Watt PSU and a 1080ti Founder's Edition by MSI. Nice sleek black design with chrome accents too which is nice with a mesh side panel.

these builds are great for a basic computer. putting in a radeon HD 7450 works great too! I have a system like this using a raijintek Metis Plus in Gols and I really like it. CM has come out with some really nice colors in the 200NR and I personally like the purple and the orange chassis.... these may be some of my builds in the near future providing I can keep the prices below $500.00 my last ITX build cost me about $300.00 and I really like it.... builds like these make good media player units

Putting a 6500 XT in a PCIe gen.3 motherboard is not a viable upgrade path due to the x4 PCIe lane limitation. The same price gets you a 1070 on the used market and that thing actually performs better + allows ultra textures to be used in every game.

For almost $500, you're not getting great performance-per-dollar value with the 3200G build you've done. Try this:
    Ryzen 7 5700G
    Asus B550 Prime-A mATX
    G.Skill 16GB(8GBx2) DDR4-3600 CL18
    WD Blue SN550 500GB NVMe M.2 SSD
EVGA BQ 650-watt 80+ Bronze PSU
Thermaltake Versa H18 Tempered Glass microATX Mini-tower Chassis
    ________________________________________________________________________
$620.04 -- All new components, 7% local sales tax paid. This is the ultimate budget gaming build to get while waiting for a GPU.

  • @KdUqPdI

I don’t think the 3200g has all that many PCIe lanes. Maybe 12 iirc. The new budget Radeon RX requires 4.0 as well making it a bad choice for many B450 builds. My Colorful B450M enforces the AMD memory limits on my 3200G so the XMP profile is completely inaccessible in the mobo BIOS further neutering the APU’s potential. A cheap GT1030 saved my build with better graphics than the Vega and only using a few PCIe lanes which allowed me to install an nvme drive and a network card.

    One year parts update
    AMD Ryzen 3 3200G $104
    B450 Gaming-ITX $150
    Neo Forza Faye 2x8GB 3600 $80
    EVGA SuperNOVA 550 $100
    (KLEVV CRAS C720 512GB NVMe) $30
    Cooler Master NR200P $145
    uphere rgb fans $30
this is now almost $650 build without GPU

It's not a parts' shortage, it's greed. Takes only 1 person in a high-enough position to set off a chain-reaction. But most humans are greedy, so it comes from everywhere.

Why does everything has to be "gaming PC" nowadays when you search for "compact PC build, this is so repetitive and so unoriginal that I end up always disliking almost all of them. What about all the people that want to build a PC that don't actually want anything "gamer"about it, it just wants it for business, data science or engineering that is not a 20k workstation, there's a whole lot that can be explored between a pre-made PC you can buy at Walmart and a workstation/server. Just saying.
