In the mornings while it's still cool outside, I sit with my window open and your videos playing, pretending fall has come already. I has helped keep me sane during some of our heat waves. (Average days over 90 here =16, this summer we had almost 30.)

Don’t move an inch from this spot until the fog clears. Squint, listen, lean into it. Move forward, now move back. Look, seek. Is it disappearing from you again? I know you want to say words like eerie and listless and phrases like somewhere before time and blurred in my mind. But really? Can you not recall at all? Shhhh. Stand still. You know there was a place, a lane, a dwelling or two or three or more, something you swore not to ever forget. It was fleeting but if you stand still and peer, you will recover it. Don’t focus on the rain or the music in your head. What was that “thing” anyway? Go back, back, a bit further back. Do not stumble, be alert. See the images drifting in and out. It’s in those images that you see almost clearly. Of course it’s shifting repeatedly like a coin in your hand, tumbling around without edges or lines, just the feel of that sensation that tells you once upon a time. Oh, yes, I can tell you felt it for a second. But the image is not the same is it? You see things differently and then it is different once again. Where are you now? Focus. Do not worry about how nothing stays the same, or so it seems. There is something that does not change, ever. That is the thing. Feel the chills run through your being as you get a taste of recall. I know you are with me. In fact it is this which has never changed. You almost have it on your lips…go ahead for the sake of all things pure, say it! “We are one”. AH!!! There you go, you’ve out with it and now you’re free. Continue on. There is nothing that matters more. Thank you. Thank you for remembering.
