Right? I love it so much! When I was a kid I had a room with a skylight and the rain sounded just like this falling on it.
This rain sound effect is unmatched. I've been looking for a video that duplicates what I hear IRL instead of the more common white noise that counts as "rain" in most videos and I'm SO GLAD to have finally found it! I'm definitely saving this.

I live near-ish to a former estate, now a public garden...and they have a conservatory. They don't have seating like this, it would quickly mildew, lol. But many benches where a book and an hour or two would be a real luxury amongst the gorgeous plants, glass, the murmur of guests just beyon the blooming fuscias and green palm trees...
It's extraordinary this piece of music in the rain, thinking about all the problems you've had and some people with a lot of money who don't think about protecting the earth. Plastic and pollution will destroy our planet, and humans will disappear in a few centuries.

This makes me miss our old house, which had skylights in several rooms. I used to love sitting or lying on the floor when it rained and listening to the sound. The new house is better for old knees, but it is so quiet I often don't realize it has rained until I look outside and see the yard is wet.
If I had an unlimited budget, I'd probably build much the same.
