@@joeleagles5491 its superb, i was wondering how you got your games going on the old tv screen? What did you use in the pc etc..... that kind of stuff. What games that you play on it etc. People now put led monitors in thier cabinets but its more authntic with the old crt tv screens but much harder to get a picture from a pc.
@@ph111hud0 the PC I'm using has a lightweight Linux distro with mame and attract mode installed. I have an old graphics card with an s-video port and my TV has one to. The CRT I used is pretty modern (late 90s early 00s) so it has more IO than the average CRT.
@@joeleagles5491 i see, so its not running windows as such its a linux based operating system , like bacotera type thing ? , i have built a cabinet similar but i used an arcade vga bought from ultimarc, it didnt have an svideo connection, it uses a vga connector but its supposed to push out the correct resolution of each game in mame, i havent completed the setup yet because i have no front end im just using an old mame. Some of the newer mames dont allow direct draw and only use direct x , direct draw is supposed to be the one that helps with the correct resolutions. I so wish i had used an svideo connection and a simple video card now. I think you have done a superb job. Thumbs up to you
Good job man. Kudos for using a CRT
Wow man where is part 2 ? Or can you upload a small video of your arcade ? Its super cool. You even used the proper screen
Haha, thank you, but I just haven't had time to work on it. It's been sitting in my shop, and I play it when I'm waiting for glue to dry😅
