White sisig might be because they added mayonaise for a creamy texture. It is also why it tasted like salad.
I think its dinakdakan
@@jessiefujiwara3586 Probably, but people in my area like having some mayonaise on their sisig just for the creamy texture and I would definitely agree with their taste.
lot of mayo
Di ba tofu sisig?
What I love about Kristy and Grace is how they interact with Filipino people. I feel other vloggers are so guarded and formal but both of you talk to them like they are friends and family. And you can tell the people they interact with are so comfortable and happy. I think that’s what really sets Kristy apart from other vloggers and it makes her videos feel so familiar and heartwarming. Continued prayers for the growth and success of your channel and also yourself!
The white/ salad sisig is called Dinakdakan. It's common in northern luzon. Considered as counterpart of Sisig, but it's mostly served cold/ normal temp, not in a sizzling plate.
More power to you channel. Have a nice day!
Salad? More likely kilawen but i get your point why you called it salad. Its white cause they put mayonnaise on it, the authentic is pigs brain. But we prefer pigs brain or no brain no mayonnaise.
@@xofmetleh6618Sisig salad is what Kristy called the dish, he just explained what really it is.
dinakdakan is ilocos sisig
I like the reunion of Kristy and ate, it feels like namiss nila ang isa't isa😊 and kristy is so humble that she accommodates lahat ng mga nagpapicture and the interactions with the patatas. Can't wait sa next vlog. God bless😇
10:31 Pinay na Pinay si Kristy talaga! I love her so much for loving our Filipino food, culture and language.
That commentary towards the end is heartwarming, it is so true, us Pinoys always yearn for something that ties us with something back home. Salamat For this vlog. Grace rocks with her Camera work😊
Very true 😊
Hi Kristy, got choked up when you said you understand why pinoys go there even by themselves just to eat, its to feel the vibe of "Home". I do the same thing here in the US. Thank you so much for supporting and sharing the Filipino culture in your vlogs. God bless you and your family always.❤
I love when the sister do vlogs you guys are fun to watch and great entertainment 😊 keep up the great job
the salad sisig is called dinakdakan! usually served in the north esp pangasinan & ilocos. best served hot!
The White Sisig is called Dinakdakan. It's one of the famous Ilocano delicacies, thats their version of Sisig. The traditional Dinakdakan uses pig's brain. The Dinakdakan with Mayo is the Manila version since it's kinda hard to get a pig's brain supply in the city. So, instead, they use mayo as an alternative. 😊
Like the original sisig in Pampanga, Dinakdakan is also perfect with beer hehe aka Pulutan. 😂
Every time I feel so stressed sa work, pumupunta lang ako d2 sa Channel ni Kristy and watch her video.
Ate Grace is so supportive ❤
I know exactly what Kristy is saying. When I’m homesick sometimes we would eat in a Filipino resto here in Canafa even though I can cook pinoy food . Just to feel at home somehow 😢
Can’t wait for the cousins vlogs! Kristy made it sound so ka-abang abang haha
Keep up the good job with vlogging sisters! I always enjoy watching.
You can make adobo kangkong as well
Hi Kristy, looks like you maintained your weight from your trip at Siargao!!! Maganda!!! Stay cool and pretty!!! Watching your vlog here in scorching Las Vegas!!!
We use to put mayo in kilawin for a creamy taste ,with or without its good.... ilocano here hehe
The white sisig is an ilocano dish called "Dinakdakan" pork, onions, (sometimes with liver, heart, balonbalonan) with mayonnaise...😊 Yammy yan may favorite....
The white sisig is Dinakdakan it has creamy taste because of the Mayonaise. But the original dinakdakan from ilocos is they put pigs brain. Its beacause pigs brain is not available in some places mayonaise is the substitute to it.
cristy's vlog has been my comfort vlog❤ thank u cristy for the good vibes
Always watching your vlog kristy.
The white sisig is not actually sisig we call it “dinakdakan”. We usually use pig’s brains not mayonnaise. But other places they use mayonnaise if pig’s brains are not available.
More vlogs po sa Korea, sana ma feature niyo yung traditional Korean places/traditional korean clothing
KrisTIKIM eps was brilliant 🤩 hope you may had cooking vlog as well too. love the practicality and being straight forward in reviews alongside with Ate Grace.. 🫶🏻
Ang ganda ni Kristy ngayon. Wow, 👍
So cool. First time I was in Korea was in 93 stationed in Dongducheon, didn't have any of those back then.
Dinakdakan is an Ilokano dish which normally linaga na ears, anout, etc. cut into small pieces and mix with pig brain. Sisig, I suppose is inihaw.
Gusto kong mga korean vloger na mga content nila about pilipino culture at ang galing nilang mag tagalog and also ang gaganda nila .
Kakagutom nman..the sisig is white because they put mayonnaise that is why it taste like salad..
Love you so much Kristy! You’re so fun to watch!! ❤
Grabe ka Cristy! Ginutom mo ako. All the food is not just look yummy but it really is. Im also a korean food eater NGL it's really also good. Asian food is yummy (i've eaten several of them. But i will be biased, iba ang sarap ng pagkaing Filipino, sobrang sarap. (I'm happy when you say Home, even though your at Korea where you were born)
I've just started watching your videos today. And I must say, they were very fun and entertaining! Also somewhat enlightening..
Really appreciate what you do! Thank you! 🎉
What a great and happy video! Loved it!
Enjoy maam be safe support always
sisig with lots of mayonaise. creamy version
Yung okra po pwedeng gawing torta..,masarap po Yun..
Sarap nman penge po😊❤
Ganda talaga ni grace, kaka inlove❤❤
The sisig ,white because pinirito daw nila so,nilagyn din nila ng mayonaise, yung isa dinakdakan ,kasi parag nilaga muna nila yung mukha ng baboy then, inihaw para maibsan ng konti pang mantika , healthy na kumbaga plus ang ginamit nila ay yung utak ng baboy.yun po siguro ang pagkkaiba.
Suddenly have a Craving for Lucky Me Pancit Canton 😂
Bloody awesome! Can't wipe this smile from my face from beginning to end.
Absolutely affordable and yummy talaga! ❤
Thank you for this new vlog Kristy and ate Grace.. ingat kayo palagi and see u soon on ur nxt vlog❤❤❤
My first time watching. I thought she didnt know how to speak tagalog. Ang galing pala. I did live in Korea for a few years. I forgot how Hyewha was like.
The pork that has mayo is like sisig but originated in Ilocos Region and it is called dinakdakan
Wow ma'am thanks to introduce and support the pilipino food
Sising is ussually common but one of the special dish of kapampangan and it made of different variation it depends who made it..
Dinakdakan is ilocano dish this is my favorite mas malaman has laman loob like bituka hinde tinipid
Kkagutom naman..😋
I like pancit bihon over canton.
That makes Kristy different from other vloggers, her honesty is on level 999 🫰
12:41 it is Dinakdakan sisig
an ilocano/pangasinan dish of sisig 😋😋😋
mas masarap kapag inihaw ung mismong karne karne 😊😊😊
Interesting !! 😮 Thanks for this 🤍
Hi Kristy, we are here now in Myeondong for a vacation with family. Trying to go to where your blogs are. Maybe will see each other here that is by God’s design. So far so good. Wow all things here are expensive but all the authentic Korean foods we tried are super delicious. Not compared to our Korean town in Angeles. Mimingat tamu ngan .
AWESOME video, we just got back not too long ago from some Thailand adventures too, but hopefully the wife and I can visit the Korea one day soon! 🙂
Hi ate I like the way you love the food of filipino , sana mas marami ka pang matry na ibang food ng mga pinoy ate , God bless po❤❤
I would be freaked out and excited if i ever met kristy pata, shes very famous and nice!
Hello kristy enjoy your day more blessing too come ingat kristy God bless ❤💕❤💕❤😘
Hyewa is dinadayo kc first and foremost gawa ng pag simba and second na lang un pamimili.
yan ang da best sisig with mayonnaise mam
Ganda naman .. ni kristy... ❤❤❤❤
It's fun to watch you, Kristy. Your also beautiful 😍❤️
sisig w/ mayo. the other kind of sisg. the other sisg is inihaw yung pork and ginisa. both kind of sisg are good masarap
SISIG had 3 types BOILED / FRY / GRILLED and the 1 u ate is boiled. mayonaise is alternative for pigs brain if u dont have.
katatapos ko lng mag dinner habang nanunuod pero nagutom ako uli bigla habang pinapanuod kayo kumain🤤😋
wow it's gonna be fun with the cho cousins
The white sisig instead of the usual (maillard reaction -overboard*, sour taste is optional with calamansi on the side, spice, egg, there's even a version where there is the add of liver spread, so...) sizzling delivery has more of a savory but sweet x sour AND creamy on the texture side in just one ingredient, which is mayonaise with pickle relish.
🪙🪙
The salad sisig is another way to cook sisig in other regions in the ph. They put mayo in the fried meat then topped with egg. While the dinakdakan is grilled meat mixed with mayo also.
Ate Kristy, I will wait po sa collab nyo ni ate Jessica Lee, (beke nemen po ehe) parehas po kayo pusong Pinay at mahilig sa travel + Filipino food lover . God bless you always po ate Kristy and your family 🥰
Hoping to watch again mukbang content of you🥰
Nakakamiss mag simba at gumala sa hyewa dong❤❤❤
Damn your super CUTE Kristypata ❤️💕😍😊
Still watching 💪💪💪 July 13, 2o23
Katakam i will go there this weekend...😊
You can try the best sisig with mayo here in Bauan Batangas 😁 tho medj pricey na sya compared before pero legit yung lasa
That white sisig is called dinakdakan
3:16 I wish I saw your videos before I went to Korea! You feature great spots to visit. Sana next time i am in Korea I can visit Little Manila.
The white (salad sisig) one is called dinakdakan....The white cream is mayonnaise, but authentic exotic version they use pig's brain.
when sisters are together the vlog is really entertaining
❤❤❤❤❤❤ misss youu
12:39 I think the salad sisig is the version of sisig that's most seen in Carenderias. Just like those Carenderias in our neighborhood. It usually look like that, white coz there's mayo. Meanwhile the other color that you're used to is more like a resto or pubs version that usually goes with beer.
Miss ko na si suah.🤗
Love it❤❤❤ hello watching from guam
Looking forward to Cho Cousins series
Here sa norte the sisig salad we call it dinakdakan, usually the meat wil be grilled first then chopped into pieces then mix it with pig's brain for crreaminess pero if none, the alternative is mayo
Nagutom ako 😂 12:45am haha
Its still a original sisig with mayo and spices ( if its spicy hehe) the one is with mayo that is looks white while the other one is a fried one. Like with normal seasons po.
FIRST AGAIN PO, ATE KRISTY!! 🤩🥳
Kameng mga pinoy talaga kahit nasaan na bansa energetic at masayahin friendly talaga jolly always 🫰🇵🇭🤝🇰🇷🫰
That's the usual sisig in the Ph! Kakaiba siya sa usual sisig-- it's like the kanto sisig with mayo! The other one is dinakdakan! :)
grace! ❤ ❤ ❤
Kristy you should visit Cebu wih your cousins, like for real you're missing a lot!!
13:41 I feel like it’s like malatang hilaw. I really hate when that happens to me when I cook, and nothing you can do to save it, I tried turning it to fried rice but that didn’t work either. I think this happens when it’s hilaw, so you tried to add water but wrong tantsa (like you fail to correct it, because sometimes you succeed eh) and then malata na. Lol but also, I can imagine the rice cooker-brown out scenario 😂
Dinakdakan is quite similar to sisig but the method is different... From left over inihaw to fried a bit and pinaasim ng kalamansi that's sisig. For dinakdakan is boiled meat then grilled chopped to bite size then suka or kalamansi to sour also we put chop luya and onion specially shallot. Both can use mayonnaise but the authentic dinakdakan is using parboiled pigs brain for creamier taste.
I believe since you are based in Pampanga you are used to the original sisig by Aling Lucing... Original sisig has no mayonnaise, and the one you had at that place used mayonnaise. Hardcore sisig lovers, especially those in Pampanga say this, "Ang sisig dapat maasim (because sisig is the Kapamoangan word for sour). Pag may mayonnaise, dinakdakan na yan. Pag may itlog, omelette na yan. 😊
Nakakabitin Ate
