    Rawalpindi, Pakistan ➖ One of my favourite things to do when going to a new country is visiting a local market and buying some much-needed items! So, I decided to make a trip over to Rawalpindi where one of the biggest markets is located, known as Raja Bazar. We went on a buying spree and met some incredibly friendly local Pakistani's.

      It must be hard to be honest. I understand them, I cannot bargain like that cuz it just makes me feel bad 😕...my face cringes everytime they give him a discount and he asks for more.

    • @ahmedkamalhasin2070
      @ahmedkamalhasin2070 2 ปีที่แล้ว +19

      @@ChelitoAlonzo Well tbh most shops like this ask quite high initial price. Because they know customers are gonna bargain so they start with a high margin. Keep in mind even after selling the glasses for 1500 which they asked 2500 for initially, surely they still made some profit. And from what I've seen, Luke only bargains in shops that are like in good establishments, so assuming they are doing quite well for themselves. He generally pays extra to most street vendors and seemingly poor sellers.

    The "funky" taste in sugarcane juice is that of the "kala namak" black salt - its a bit of an acquired taste for the western palate - gives sulphur aftertaste. Try sugarcane juice without the salt next time, you will find it more like the one you had in Iraq.
