It's flippin cold here in South Africa so jealous that you get to have lovely weather cannot wait for Spring to come, and I'm thinking of visiting Durban to get away from the cold in Cape Town...
Tanzania as a good history with South Africa, in fact they used to sing Nkosi Sikelela as their national anthem, in solidarity with the South African struggle. It also reminds of how influential a certain South African organization was in its heyday. If there was one organization which had capacity to unite Africa, it's that one, they just messed up a good thing.
If we talking history between the two countries it’s deep solidarity. Tanzania played a huge role in the liberation of South Africans during Apartheid. South Africa 🇿🇦 x Tanzania 🇹🇿 Aluta Continua
Home is by the end of the day is where you make your living-finance, retirement etc. If you financially stable, you can make any country a home. This is coming from someone who lived on 3 continents-Africa, Europe, USA. I grew up by the ocean, so anywhere where there’s ocean and good weather, I love
Ashley i would still like you as my Fellow South African Citizen but i will also be happy for you that if you feel Tanzania is the Best Home for you and your Daughters decide what you know is best, Tanzania really look so Peace Chill Relaxed Country perfect for Vacations to recharge yourself
@gift7233 you do not need to smear dirt on other African countries just to make a point. Tanzania is a beautiful, peaceful country and the people are great, very welcoming and respectful. The Tanzanian government is also working for the interests of Tanzania and it is difficult to find a puppet leader in Tanzania. For these reasons Tanzania is, a rising Tiger in Africa and the country should be emulated
For one moment i thought you are also moving back just like the Jones family who moved back to the US after being graciously granted a VISA by SA authorities, You are an inspiration to Black families my sister😘
@@nomahope3182 I hear that they actually faced financial challenges hence they decided to move back to the states... its not really a question of VISA.
Hello Ashley and I can see you are at peace at retreat farm in Tanzania Tanzania and youngest daughter seems to be having fun too along with oldest daughter and Tanzania seems to laid back for senior citizen such as myself As this farm will be nice for a vacation.😊
Tanzania 🇹🇿 and Uganda 🇺🇬 are the most underrated countries out there. As a Kenyan 🇰🇪. I feel privileged that I can travel to those countries freely. It's always like connecting with family after a long separation. I hope they feel the same about Kenya. 😅 Kiswahili being poetic >>> I hate the fact that we, Kenyans, outside the coastal areas tend to corrupt that beautiful language. May you find a place where your heart settles fully.
Tanzania is Visa free with South Africa I love East Africa as a South African coz we share a lot of culture, food, if you from villages in SA you can easily adapt to East Africa
So basically you permanently live in South Africa and your kids school in South Africa but you winter vacation in east Africa(Tanzania specifically)…that’s a great life and monied ppl in SA do that a lot; go abroad or to their vacation homes in coastal towns of SA during winters or long vacations eg Dec. Even your vibe in this video is so vacation chilled , very different to SA which is more paced. Enjoy it Aunt Ashley

I couldn't even imagine getting married and raising a family in SA and SA has the most beautiful woman in the world ( I have been to Europe and Asia, believe me in this). I love SA so much, got lots of friends there but I am here at home raising my family.....do what you think is best for you and your family Ashley. You could live in both countries if you want!!
Ashley good day people in the US knows what's going on play jazz refused to do anything about it I relocated from New York City to Ghana I am very happy here
Interesting video Ashley! I'm always interested in connecting with other Africans from the Western diaspora were living in Tanzania what are the East African countries. Maybe we can meet, great and possibly connect on a project that is mutually beneficial
I would choose a peaceful and rural environment for my kids but register my kids in an online study school in South Africa so they would be amongst the best but also in the village environment, Amen. ❤From Ballito KZN province 💯🌍🇿🇦❤️✅🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿

If you stretch your love between two chairs, possibilities are you might end up on the floor. Follow what resonates with your inner peace. South Africa is not for the fainthearted. Many African Americans are finding their elusive American dream here, the Blanton's are a great examples. Some who left S.A for greener pastures, dream being in Mzansi. If Tanzania resonates with you, it's still in the continent make it your home and love it❤ from the bottom of your heart. Hope your kids won't keep rém8nding you of S.A.
I am a South African 🇿🇦 who has been to other African countries, and i myself plan on moving to another African nation for some of the same reasons Ashley finds beauty in TZ 🇹🇿, slower pace of life, and THE WEATHER 😂😂 I cannot take the winters anymore, and i have decided i do not have too. Another thing about SA that i personally do not like is there are too many Europeans, our ways and cultures have been greatly diluted because of their presence and in trying to accommodate them.
But 8% of them is not much. Whilst we are 80% black. But I say go and experience life there in an African country. For an example if you rent a place to stay there. you must pay 12months in advance and too they have many unfamiliarities with us in mzanzi.
I'm from the us🇺🇸 and I agree with you too many europeans. Plus they voted back anc, an Da 😂 they're so silly an they're going back into apartied. Viva eff
@@survivingwhitezaddy2.5 They are not many. They are only 8% whereas we are 80%. We can Veto them. That is why the ruling party in S.A. is still in control. Each African country have its own way of governing its people. Many african countries still have a law of President for life e.g Rwanda and others. Life in S.A is far advanced than any country. Even Egypt is rated after S.A. as a No 3 in the continent. We still lead in S.A.
The winter issue and Europeans issue mostly depends on where u choose to live in SA. If u live in a rural area far from big cities and maybe towns, u won't have any interactions with them. U can also choose to live in an area that doesn't experience extremely cold winters.
I believe one country cannot fulfill a particular individuals exceptions, life style, health and well-being. The "Nomad Capitalist" says "Go Where you are treated better". This indicates that each individual must identify multiple places where they can thrive instead of existing in one society that does not have positive effects on their life journey. On another note, Native Born American Blacks need to understand that individualism is a barrier to acceptance. Seeing through this lens increases culture shock, ultimately preventing recovery and adaptation in a new environment. This narrative, a trend, is what causes many NBABs to return back. This group should understand that Africans are tribal, communal, thus requiring careful observation of social norms and roles to experience better treatment.
Ashley, As much as we like arrival of brothers and sister in the continant, the contrast is we were not prepared for their arrival thus we fumble in receiving them, I suggest people who are here already speak to our foreign department to arrenge a better reception, We should also coution that they should not bring CIA, MOSSAD AND MI6 money in the continant, it may end up badly for every body. Africa as a continant is lay back, provide peace however people have tendancy to carry out agendas of the above organisations and spoil the existing reception. I hope my contribution in this endeavour will help to sustain the atmosphere and favour.
Too much moving is not good for children. It brings psychological trauma to them, deep seated one that will have negative menifestations when they are older. Please try to research thoroughly on this. ❤❤
I disagree, moving allows children to experience diverse cultures, see others ways of living outside of SELF, Africa children are free, if a parent nutures the child psychologically, Spiritually and Emotionally whilst doing so, the child has a increase potential to NOT simply survive BUT THRIVE than those _Caged In_ foreign borders . Where exactly are you at? I want to live exactly where you are in this video. Let me know so that I can set up my flight.
True moving with kids all over it makes no sense it could be batter if they finish the school first they will grow up confused not knowing thare country south Africa was the best for her family her i think
As a South African, i bet the Tanzanian comment section is also friendlier and not as overbearing 😅. South Africsns are always correcting you 😂
Is that your real hair,it looks good ❤
Yep! Thanks
As a black man I just think you’re so so beautiful ❤
If you stretch your love between two chairs, possibilities are you might end up on the floor. Follow what resonates with your inner peace. South Africa is not for the fainthearted. Many African Americans are finding their elusive American dream here, the Blanton's are a great examples. Some who left S.A for greener pastures, dream being in Mzansi. If Tanzania resonates with you, it's still in the continent make it your home and love it❤ from the bottom of your heart. Hope your kids won't keep rém8nding you of S.A.
Sounds like an African Proverb. Thanks for sharing

@@survivingwhitezaddy2.5would you prefer to live under a rule of a dictator?😂😂😂
Really this time is for good or Kenya the next big thing
Ashley, As much as we like arrival of brothers and sister in the continant, the contrast is we were not prepared for their arrival thus we fumble in receiving them, I suggest people who are here already speak to our foreign department to arrenge a better reception,
We should also coution that they should not bring CIA, MOSSAD AND MI6 money in the continant, it may end up badly for every body.
Peace n bliss🌴
@@Aeon1019 didn't she just put her kids to school? As a child of a diplomat user to moving around the world I didn't always like it as a kid living my friends behind. But I also loved going new places and making new friends. But I do think she should let her kids stay in school in SA and go on holidays in Tanzania or elsewhere in africa. But she knew what is best for her family

It’s hard being an expat anywhere in the world. You will never be accepted as a local. You will always be viewed as a foreigner. Best pick a spot and work on your bliss.
🦾🦾💯♥️ almost forgot good morning Tanzania to the people there' and assalamualaikum to the Muslim brotherhood🎉 and the people in America are to attach to physical world.
You just left without saying goodbye wow 👀👀👀
No she hasn’t left permanently but on vacation in Tanzania. Her older daughter is enrolled in a school in South Africa. So my read she likes a break in Tanzania because it’s slow pace…it’s her version of what most Black SAns do during vacation, go to the village but she just leaves whole country and goes to beautiful Tanzania. She’ll be back within a week or so I’m sure. Also remember her business involves selling the relocation to Africa for Black Americans so please watch content with that discernment. Doesn’t mean she doesn’t truly enjoy these countries but it’s her business to keep this type of conversation going. I love observing it
❤🇿🇦👊🏿
Can you visit Senegal please
Would love to!
Im surprised you lefted Tanzania where its cheaper in der Salam which is the city compared to the expensive major citys in south Africa aint no way you get like 2600 for every dollar where in south Africa you only get like 16 for every dollar and of course its colder in south Africa you have alot of people thats from the Caucasus mountains living there they be controlling the weather to suit them
How do they control the weather 🙄🤣🤣🤣🙆🏾♂️

The dollar can go a long way in Africa
We are building our communities after colonialism and Apartherid and it two/three generations of hard work and roving around doesnt allow that. So, we are rooted in SA and only travel for trade/holiday. Wealth creation is not glamorous

Must be Peace and safety in Tanzania . Lol😂

Hi Ashley As a South African born in Mpumalanga province I'd love to move to Tanzania or Uganda because South Africans have been Europeanized they think they are America of Africa. In South Africa we live European culture then once in a while we embrace African culture. I hate it in South Africa because they love white people more than anything 😢
Sorry that you feel that way
