@@vamptonio That's the unfortunate truth.. A man will be there for a woman, trying to heal her etc. A woman doesn't want a broken man.. They just won't deal with it. IF you are broken pretty much it stays deep inside and nobody ever helps you. Mental health and depression is very bad for men because we are taught/raised we cannot be or act a certain way. Many I feel are struggling but they hide it, and that is sad as well.

All I can say is if you do be careful they're going to drug you up and having tried most of the antidepressant medication on the market I just want to make it clear that they don't work for everyone and sometimes the meds can intensify your depression and make you do irrational dangerous things. So if or when you do get help don't think of medical doctors are the first line of defence also consider therapists and try to leave the medication as the very last option as it is the most extreme option and will change who you are as a person. But medication is a godsend for many people and for the people it works well for it is a true miracle but some it don't work for and some have terrible reactions to it so just be aware. Best of luck and know you are not alone in you're suffering. Better to laugh and joke about depression than cry about it but at the end of the day it's a serious affliction.

Please, if you're feeling helpless or lonely know that there's always someone you can talk to and there's someone who loves and cares for you. In Stevie's case almost 2 million people but this goes for everyone. If someone reading this is struggling with any issues I'm more than happy to help and I hope Stevie was just being a bigger trickster this video and that everything's alright with him

Also not related to the message but I grew up in the 2000s and I also love green day. Stevie was referencing Green Day / Billie Joe on the depression. I'm not sure if he himself suffers from it, but he has said numerous times he does not play in front of crowds due to his anxiety, and often anxiety and depression go hand in hand. I would recommend anyone with depression to start looking into NATURAL remedies, such as dietary supplements (eg. magnesium, SAMe, Ginseng, B vitamins, vitamin D, Tumeric, etc ) and physical exercise as opposed to prescription pills ("mental meds"). Most physical and mental ailments are caused by or accelerated by a deficiency in some essential nutrient (which in turn results in your body/brain not having the right chemical reactions), as opposed to a deficiency in prescription medications (like mental meds such as Prozac, Zoloft, Paxil, etc.). I've personally known people on certain mental meds who have committed or made a serious attempt to commit suicide. These drugs are bad news, they are not a cure, not a good long term fix. Many doctors don't care because there's no money in you being well, they get paid from your repeated office visits and big pharma makes big $$$ as you are on the hook for expensive prescription pills you will need to continue to refill indefinitely. Doctors will often poo-poo the thought of natural alternatives. It certainly does not hurt to talk to a psychiatrist, but please do research and be skeptical of the prescription drugs. There's a reason they mention suicidal thoughts in those disclaimers on the TV commercials.

I'm typically not this sentimental or cheesy about things but I guess I'm just feeling it right now. Stevie T, you have been inspiring me a whole bunch lately. No, I'm not a guitarist, but your overall attitude combined with your insane musical talent really fuels me in such a way that's too hard to explain. I just want you to know that you bring life to your fans. That probably sounds really cliche but I don't care, I'm saying it because it's true. I can honestly tell that you're genuinely a good person, which is what matters most. You accomplished something huge in your life, and if you're ever feeling really depressed, just know that us thicc bois are always there to not only watch your genius content, but to help in whatever way we can. I'd hate to assume if you're feeling down (I'm sure it's annoying seeing the same type of comments all the time) but all I wanted to do was get my point across. You're freaking great, man. Not a joke. He's having a treatment for depression since a long time. He said that many times (one of those was when he declined touring with Dragonforce). But he uses it as a joke all the time. He's a brave man and he's fighting his demons while being honest to his audience.
I feel bad that he's depressed but projecting his anger onto Green Day is fucked up. They were a great band for quite some time. They did nothing to deserve this pretentious, unfunny, angry, elitist parody.

Gian R C I’m pretty sure that’s the mike dirt signature bass but it is based off of the ‘68-‘72 tele basses that are based on the original p-bass
It's the Mike Dirnt signature Precision Bass. It's based off of a 51 P Bass with a normal split pickup. I own a heavily modified version of one.
That's what the original precision bass looked like. Sting also plays them.
