This is so interesting.
I like how the team came together to prepare for multi day hikes, more especially getting lessons on how to pack for multi day hike.
My first multi day hike was at Fanie Botha, Mpumalanga and I had 500ml of milk. That on its own it’s a no no. I had packed my entire house which was very problematic for myself as I had to carry the bag on my own. The area had no potters to assist and I doubt I was going to afford a potter for 3x days. It was a learning curve for me

Wow 500ml milk..lol 😂😂.. the first lesson they taught us is to always pack light..mara thanks for sharing ur story...it will help others not to make the same mistake
