I remember when Yogaflame announced that he would be setting up this set, someone commented that Proudstrawberry would destroy Playerjun. I went on to explain to him that Playerjun was considered the best Ken at 1 point and that IF Proudstrawberry did win, that it would be a close set. Well...check the results. Im so greatful to have been able to see this set. By far 1 of the most entertaining sets ive seen in recent memory. Those corner ambiguous tatsu's by Playerjun were disgustingly sick. Lol!!! Strawberry didnt block a single one correctly...hell I dont think anyone would have. Playerjun is so fun to watch!!!! He always goes for the risky, 1 frame link combos at every chance, and hits them at a very high rate. This guy has been one of my favorite players to watch since he has been playing Sf. MANY MANY MANY thanks to Yoga for making this happen. WHAT A TREAT! GREAT PLAY BY BOTH GUYS...on a side note, does anyone know Playerjun's real name or if he has a twitter or fb acct? Again, thanks a ton to Yoga for this set...one of the best sets you have made happen!!!!

He was probably trying to chip him to death. If Gouken had block the Ultra, he would have died from the damage since he had like 20 hp left. Unfortunately for him, he threw a move and got his by the full ultra, even tho it wasn't needed.

Yo the corner tatsu setups at 12:34 and 12:37 are ridiculous. How do you even see that shit? If Jun hadn't immediately comboed after them i would have thought he didn't know either.
TR Delight I had a similar kinda "No shit!" moment, when I saw that link.. Thing is.. counter hit or no.. it can.. and does.. 1 frame though.. new ex tatsu 5 frames. cl.hk +5 on hit. Gouken's buffs are brilliant.
***** MrJade12 From what I've seen Jun just likes to do fancy stuff when he gets the chance. It can be a psychological advantage as well since you're pulling off something that is more difficult than strictly necessary and extending out how long it takes to finish them off. More effective and less annoying than using a taunt on someone.
Man. This was an awesome set. As a Gouken player, I have quite a hard time with this match up as well. It seems like Proud was a little too committed to certain combos and strings that Jun was able to take advantage. A classic case of pressing buttons at the wrong time. If Proud didn't get caught with that yolo Ultra, he might have won.
Playerjun52 plays like a hurricane. I was watching him at the Capcom Protour USF4 in Singapore. He always looked sloppy and hopeless. Then his girlfriend comes around to cheer him and then wow! he won every set thrown at him. I'm not very pro with Ken but I use him as my main for his supers (I'm a traditional SF2 Turbo arcade player but I stopped long time). Awesome Japanese player. GG!

its like an option select..i learned this from Playerjun in his other past matches especially in a 50/50 situation after tatsu..other times after tatsu he slightly delayed tech after making a backdash..PJ is simply an amazing player :)
Eh. He hits like a truck definitely, has some pretty good hard knock down setups and stuff... but I feel like his footsie game could be better and he doesn't get a whole lot of damage off of jabs. This on top of a pretty risky "get off me" move. High mid tier I'd think. B+?
DHerrera3942 It's mostly demon flip set ups. Not amazing, but it can definitely pressure those with bad wake up or risky reversals. A Gouken is really only as good as his reads.
