- I guess we're back doing those lore deep dives and mysteries. Before the launch of GTAVI in about a year's time if not longer, I thought it would be a good idea to explore some of the cool stories, secrets and dark mysterious aspects to previous GTA games starting with one of the more obvious ones.

I'm probably a little rusty on this format by this point, but I need some excuse to hone the skills before GTAVI.
> a little rusty
> the opening shot of Niko standing by the billboards being one of the most “images that goes hard” things I’ve ever seen
Fr tho, the shots of th city presented are spectacular and match the vibe/aesthetic of the video perfectly. Honestly really successful at making IV look way more dark and sinister than it actually is. 😅
@@Longshanks1690 ah a likkle LUT, crop & vignette.
@@Longshanks1690what they said
You can never be rusty homie, but please continue producing this content anyway because I absolutely love it.
@@pugachevskobra5636 it would be my pleasure!
I love how Nico came to the US and was instantly thrown into the most bizzare bullshit imaginable which he handles with a universal sense of calm confusion.
Like constantly asking if he wants to go bowling
He IS from the Balkans, so maybe he's just used to crazy
And he was in the war so probably not too much things can actually flabbergast him.
You meet one unhinged serial killer, you've met them all.
Love how "the killer without a nickname" basically becomes Eddie's nickname.
why am i the only reply
@@BluelDev I don't know
@@BluelDev I'm as confused as you 😂
Didn't even know there was a serial killer that wasn't me playing the character
By our own definition, Eddie Low is an amateur.
Niko is more of a parallel killer.
Or a mass killer or spree killer
Eddie low huh
Like his kills count
Low
Eddie Low? Lool more like Eddie Noob 🤣
Eddie Low has to be one of the creepiest people you meet in Gta 4
In that first meeting, I love the neutral camera angles - combined with the spiralling conversation it creates a nice sense of discomfort
Till he met an actual demon. Nico disarmed him and carved him up real nice.
“Say goodbye, when you dance with the devil tonight”
There is a neat Korean movie where a serial killer tries to kill a gangster and fails a the gangster an a cop hunt him down. Maybe it’s Japanese. These guys are creeps but they’re also cowards. Then they run just like Eddie weak and pathetic. Like the night stalker killer from la. Man a mob of people chased him down an was whooping his ass
Sometimes I agree
@@OrysB-po1fyhow
That’s saying something!
“I’m from Florida.”
“Spill your guts.”
Niko Bellic, the scariest down to earth protagonist in GTA history.
The look on Niko's face was like "damn I thought I had issues."
These stories are creepy because these people are out there; they exist. I grew up in a very small town in the U.S. A guy murdered his wife right on my road. They were driving, he told her to get out of the car. He then shot her and ran her over. This guy had won an award for being a "beacon of the community"
It happens everywhere bro especially in small towns I used to live in Pennsylvania people are never who they seem to be
@@_GwuapoI was working in PA and a cabin I was working under had a blade rusted with blood. Real life killers are always scary. They are much harder to pinpoint.
Eddie low was actually based off random people encountered by Rock stars staff when they were scoping out a city to get an idea how Liberty City should be in the game.
Jesus Christ that's sad. I can almost guarantee you that he was an abusive pos.
@@Dio_Corleone nope. Try again
I was rolling with Dwayne's homeboys when I had my second encounter with him. When he came at Niko with a knife, the bangers took him down in a hail of gunfire.
That's awesome haha 🔥
I always loved how it's implied that Nico is never in any real danger when he's with Eddie. Cool to see this game making the rounds again!
For real, he just stares at Eddie disappointingly the whole time
Then again he'd just whip out a gun when Eddie pulls a knife so fair enough
Yeah, I mean nico is a total savage. He’s dealt with far worse people
At 13:20, the audio glitch triggered so many memories of this game, it was so imperfectly perfect
Like something that would lead to jumpscare.
It’s actually a car feature in some cars from GTA 4 to warn you of incoming phone calls
@@alum3676Actually the phone call thing happens in real life. In the game it’s a little feature, above and beside that exit to the tunnel is a radio tower which triggers the interference to car radios.
I always tought it was my pc or something, not a thing in the game haha
Yuuuup for years I thought it was my dogshit turtle beach headset 😂😂😂
I feel like they showed off Eddies intelligence by him being able to tell that Niko was Balkan. A lot of the characters can't figure it out.
Eddie always hit like he belonged in Manhunt honestly...he'd make a great member of the smiley's gang from that series
I was just playing manhunt 1 recently lol
Starkweather really missed out on casting the perfect leading man before his untimely demise😂😂🤣
@@Dio_Corleone very true there
GTA4 is so underrated these days. Nico i think is up there with Arthur Morgan as most sympathetic protags in gaming.
When he does the screams in the different accents that was legitimately terrifying
Screams are different in accents?
@@WolfManStillPlays apparently
awesome voice actor
There is a lot of hidden gems in the freaks and strangers missions
Well in GTA V The Infinity Killer is the most creepiest part of that game as we dont know who he is or if he even has a face or is alive neither.

That might be my favourite line in the entire game. 😂
GTA4 is an underrated game. Loving the GTA4 videos!
Literally one of the highest rated games of all time, but I feel you 😅. Maybe under appreciated is a better way to say it.
Underrated? Dude, it's the most blessed game
gta4 is not underrated bruh this game sold 25 million copies and its only on ps3 360 pc its just underappreciated for what it is not underrated imo
"As of July 2013, the game has sold over 25 million copies, making it one of the best-selling video games, and one of the best-selling games on both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360"
UNDERRATED!? You trendclowns are ridiculous! Underrated my a**!!!!
I'll still be playing GTA IV when people are GTA VI
I love this guy is crazy enough to approach nico like that isn’t one of the most dangerous things imaginable.
I thought the Valintine killer on RDR2 was a throwback to Eddie Low
Definitely a nod
*VALENTINE
Well durr. His name's EDmund LOWry.
@@johnaustin209 nice catch
Is Eddie the only one in the game to guess Niko's country correctly? I don't think it really means anything but it is funny that the mad serial killing Larry is the only one who knows his Geography lol.
Niko's positive reaction stems more from Eddie not mentioning the word "Russian" than guessing correctly as such.
@@Fizhy Right right most in the game call him Russian or Slavic or “Fucking Yokel". I think it’s funny the guy who chops people up is the only one to be knowledgeable to get it right lol. Also fantastic video really love seeing the GTA IV content really good stuff!
he doesnt mention Serbia, so he doesn't guess Niko's country correctly...
Not entirely correctly, but he's the only one to guess that Niko comes from the Balkans, not Russia or it's former Soviet states.
This guy always freaked me out when playing GTA IV, I was too young to really grasp the situation (and definitely too young to be playing it) Looking back on this has really made me wanna play it again, such a class game, the only GTA remaster that should really be done, and be done faithfully, unlike the SA, VC and III remasters...
Those remasters weren't unfaithful as such, they were just unstable.
@@Fizhy That’s probably a better way of putting it to be fair! I just wish that Rockstar hadn’t used them as a cash grab and paid attention to them instead of passing them off to other companies to develop
@@Sutty1803 though it's unclear how zealous Rockstar are with regards to quality considering their seeming disinterest in interacting with their games' fanbases to that level, Take2 would have wanted the remasters out so I'm more inclined to believe the problem stemmed from that high up the chain - at best it was a bitter compromise and at worst a total shitshow.
I've been so happy to see more GTA IV content on this channel, been enjoying the walkthrough too. Format is great too, doesn't feel rusty to me Fizhy. Hope to see a continued series of videos on GTA IV mysteries, secrets, & easter eggs like your RDR2 analysis series.
I’ll do a bit here and there then suddenly hyper-fixate on them every now and then - you know what I’m like.
@@Fizhy Of course, inspiration comes in waves after all haha. Between GTA IV, Bully, Sleeping Dogs, and the growing variety of games, it's been great watching you try out these games even in one-off videos. Sending my best wishes Fizhy!
"Okay, I'd really like to get back to Planet Earth, so maybe I'l see you later!"
Fucking Niko, man.
Eddie always gave me the vibes he was from Carcer City, which was a big surprise to me that he wasn’t
This was a great video. Please make more like this. It’s of great quality and your story telling talents are on full display here. Of course I’ve played this stranger mission in GTA 4 year ago and have seen several videos about it since but yours is by far the best. Keep up the good work man
Much appreciated, will persevere!
It’s situations like this that make me love Grand Theft Auto IV. The things you hear on the radio and the interactions you have with characters like Eddie. Thank you for the video man, keep up the great work and take care!
*2 things they should’ve kept with eddie after the 1st encounter was that creepy “laugh” with odd timing n the closer “creepier” angles the camera is framed with the subtle creepy ambiance in the background finishing it up with eddie getting too close to Niko with “certain” facial expressions.. would maintain or even heighten the creepy vibe to him instead of everything creepy havin to come from his mouth. Moments like **8:45** n **8:50*
I love these deep dive Rockstar lore videos 😊
Finally some more fizhy content. This guy is a great narrator. Great story teller. Thanks for all the content Mr fish
26:26 Niko: Holy Sh*t, and I thought I had issues
I’ve been waiting for you to inevitably cover IV’s lore, did not disappoint.
Hell yes, your RDR2 style videos for GTA
Great video format and presentation man, really enjoyed watching this one
Good video. There's something cosy about videos like this (despite subject matter lol) and you do them well :D
And the satire in those articles is so on point and on multiple layers too.
I wish there was more surreal, dark content like this in GTA IV. Given that the setting is a city, it’s much harder to fabricate Bigfoot, ghost or alien sightings as were so infamously common with San Andreas, and rather than play into that built in community, the devs instead opted for a consistently serious and gritty tone for Liberty City - though not being adverse to biting satire on occasion.
The point being that this kind of thing just isn’t all that prevalent when I definitely think they could have had a lot more Easter eggs related to these dark or supernatural related topics that wouldn’t interfere with the more grounded story they wanted to present as the forefront of the game. By the time we get to V, there’s a lot more exploration of the more wacky and out there elements of the GTA world, whether that’s just because we’re in San Andreas or as a deliberate creative 180 turn I don’t know, but there’s certainly a lot more to talk about there.
Since VI seems to be focusing a lot more on the social aspect of interacting with the world than ever before, I think and hope we’ll be seeing a lot more side stories like this in that game too.
I can’t see these darker mysteries not being a big focus for those who care to look in GTAVI. That said, if you know where to look there are a fair few in 4.
Knew of Eddie low from that first interaction with him, but didn’t know it ran so deep! Loving your channel dude!
Awesome video. Keep up the good work Fizhy. Def do more GTAIV Content👌🏼
I had no idea this was a thing! And I know a lot about the GTA and RDR games! Thanks a lot and keep up the good work 🙏
Love the ambiance of your videos!
Great video my man, very happy to see you doing this type of content again. RDR2’s well is pretty dry, I think there’s potential for a lot of content in other Rockstar games
Was a big missed opportunity to not have Eddie Low side missions in Johnny and Luis's episodes that would have pre dated Niko killing him, especially in The Lost and Dammed which was more gritty and gothic! He was also based in the same part of the city as Eddie. More side missons in the other episodes would have expanded on his lore.
Keep the great work up! I expect big things when GTA IV comes out
Yayyyy!! I have wanted a vid like this for so long!
Always have enjoyed the gta series but never really got into the depths of these games til gta v. I really want to go back and play this one now. Thanks for the great content.
Even Trevor would find this guy disturbing.
I’ve had GTA 4 in my library if you will, for about 15 years. Played it many times and never once came across this arc. Thank you in advance Fizhy, I’ll be revisiting this story again. Love your videos and especially these video essays my dude! 😎
Same, GTA4 basically took over my life for 2 whole years. Barely played anything else and I still played it fairly regularly until GTA5. I don't ever remember seeing this guy.
@@terrynixon2758 There’s a lot more lore packed into this game than I ever realized.
When I 1st saw Eddie Low yrs ago (I've never played GTA 4 but have seen several playthroughs and videos on it) I thought Eddie Low was another example of Rockstar/Take Two's snarky satire for the series. Then I started watching True Crime stuff, and realized, with horror, that Eddie Low is a disturbingly accurate portrayal of a serial killer.
Awesome video. Love this type of stuff
I live for these types of videos of yours
Ohhh my goood, thats hellaa awsome dudee, thank you so much for more gta 4 contant, i love tbat, that totally made my day. My fav rdr youtuber made more gta4 contant. Thank you so much men.
Great Video mate!!
This is like a teaser for your GTA 6 videos which will certainly have an insane amount of mysteries
Even Nico who war veteran and killer, making a face " OH GOD " while eEdiie explain
Fascinating. Had no idea about this. Very entertaining video, cheers!
My pleasure! Thanks for watching
Since certain elements about Eddie Low are reminiscent of the "Infinity Killer" from GTA V, I do wonder if they are at all connected, even if only from an inspiration standpoint
I couldn’t ignore the possible link but I believe it to be unlikely
Serial Killers in general tend to share a lot of characteristics, I doubt the two are supposed to be related.
Watching this makes me excited for when he plays GTA 5! I wanna see him do an in depth on the leonora johnson murder side mission.
Oh that one’s on the to do list for sure
make more of these!!!!!!, you make the best style of videos! gta 4 has to be my fav rockstar game and don't stop making more of these kind of stories bro !!
I’m enjoying your content; it’s a joy to see this universe expand even more! But just as someone who’s never played this particular GTA, I could feel the creepy SK vibe a mile off when he’s introduced. I like how Rockstar develops their characters; when they tie back to the real world, somehow it always hits the right notes lol
You make the content, we’ll watch it!
Always wondered how extensive the web system was in gta, dabbled got sidetracked then got bored. Cool vid
This was a fun mission, I remember triggering this when I had no idea he was going to come out from that alley. Rockstar is awesome.
Good video mate
it would be cool if when you do the mission for Bernie where he goes jogging in the park, during 1 of the cut scenes you see Eddie hiding & watching others jog
Best rockstar games channel
MAKE MORE OF THESE TYPES OF VIDEOS
Big respect for the video you put lot of work to make my big respect and i know how hard its to make any video for any charcter from video games and yes eddie its more creppy like hell and yes we all know how rockstar like to put this type of characters in any video games
He's also mentioned in gta v an npc named after him and a radio show you'll Hear in sandy shores
The fact I learned about this from TH-cam shows that GTA IV, a game from 2008, still has so much content to discover. Also, Eddie is so creepy. The only thing creepier is that people like him have existed and still do. Chilling side character. Bravo Rockstar, bravo.
This was as good as the old unsolved mysteries tv show from back in the 90s
The mayors book would be so wild to read
Babe wake up, new fizhy videos on gta
I'd love to see you make more gta 4 lore videos
I’ll be doing a few on 4 and probably also 5 then when 6 drops I’ll be doing that game’s prospective secrets and mysteries too
@@Fizhy Yay! That's so awesome to hear! I have always enjoyed your videos and can't wait to see what's next
I would love to see a dexter parody in gta vi, maybe a bunch of bodies strung under the water. It would work so well.
That would be a cool Easter Egg chain to follow
There is an Easter egg like that in GTA V.
Good to see this
It's interesting because Eddie Low's case was based on Richard David Falco aka David Richard Berkowitz aka the Son of Sam aka Mr. Monster aka the .44 Caliber Killer, is an American serial killer who pled guilty to eight shootings that began in New York City on July 29, 1976. Berkowitz grew up in New York City and served in the United States Army. Using a .44 Special caliber Bulldog revolver, he killed six people and wounded seven others by July 1977, terrorizing New Yorkers. Berkowitz eluded the biggest police manhunt in the city's history while leaving letters that mocked the police and promised further crimes, which were highly publicized by the press. Berkowitz was arrested on August 10, 1977, and subsequently indicted for eight shootings. He confessed to all of them, and initially claimed to have been obeying the orders of a demon manifested in the form of a black dog named Harvey belonging to his neighbor, "Sam". After being found mentally competent to stand trial, he pled guilty to second-degree murder and was sentenced to six consecutive life sentences in state prison with the possibility of parole after 25 years. He subsequently admitted that the dog-and-devil story was a hoax. In police investigations, Berkowitz was also implicated in many unsolved arsons in the city. Intense media coverage of the case lent a kind of celebrity status to Berkowitz, which many observers noted that he seemed to enjoy. The New York State Legislature enacted new statutes, known popularly as "Son of Sam laws", designed to keep criminals from financially profiting from the publicity created by their crimes. The statutes have remained in New York despite various legal challenges, and similar laws have been enacted in several other states. During the mid-1990s, Berkowitz, by then professing to be a converted evangelical Christian, amended his confession to claim that he had been a member of a violent Satanic cult that orchestrated the incidents as ritual murder. A new investigation of the murders began in 1996 but was suspended indefinitely after inconclusive findings.
Here's a Letter of Son of Sam: "I am deeply hurt by your calling me a wemon [sic] hater. I am not. But I am a monster. I am the "Son of Sam." I am a little "brat". When father Sam gets drunk he gets mean. He beats his family. Sometimes he ties me up to the back of the house. Other times he locks me in the garage. Sam loves to drink b***d. "Go out and kill" commands father Sam. Behind our house some rest. Mostly young-r***d and slaughtered-their b***d drained-just bones now. Papa Sam keeps me locked in the attic, too. I can't get out but I look out the attic window and watch the world go by. I feel like an outsider. I am on a different wave length then everybody else-programmed too kill. However, to stop me you must kill me. Attention all police: Shoot me first-shoot to kill or else. Keep out of my way or you will die! Papa Sam is old now. He needs some b***d to preserve his youth. He has had too many heart attacks. Too many heart attacks. "Ugh, me hoot it urts sonny boy." I miss my pretty princess most of all. She's resting in our ladies house but I'll see her soon. I am the "Monster"-"Beelzebub"-the "Chubby Behemouth." I love to hunt. Prowling the streets looking for fair game-tasty meat. The wemon of Queens are z prettyist of all. I must be the water they drink. I live for the hunt-my life. B***d for papa. Mr. Borrelli, sir, I dont want to kill anymore no sir, no more but I must, "honour thy father." I want to make love to the world. I love people. I don't belong on Earth. Return me to yahoos. To the people of Queens, I love you. And I wa want to wish all of you a happy Easter. May God bless you in this life and in the next and for now I say goodbye and goodnight. Police-Let me haunt you with these words; I'll be back! I'll be back! To be interrpreted as-bang, bang, bang, bank, bang-ugh!! Yours in murder Mr. Monster"
Here's a second letter of Son of Sam: "Hello from the gutters of N.Y.C. which are filled with dog manure, vomit, stale wine, u***e and b***d. Hello from the sewers of N.Y.C. which swallow up these delicacies when they are washed away by the sweeper trucks. Hello from the cracks in the sidewalks of N.Y.C. and from the ants that dwell in these cracks and feed in the dried b***d of the dead that has settled into the cracks. J.B., I'm just dropping you a line to let you know that I appreciate your interest in those recent and horrendous .44 killings. I also want to tell you that I read your column daily and I find it quite informative. Tell me Jim, what will you have for July twenty-ninth? You can forget about me if you like because I don't care for publicity. However you must not forget Donna Lauria and you cannot let the people forget her either. She was a very, very sweet girl but Sam's a thirsty lad and he won't let me stop killing until he gets his fill of b***d. Mr. Breslin, sir, don't think that because you haven't heard from me for a while that I went to sleep. No, rather, I am still here. Like a spirit roaming the night. Thirsty, hungry, seldom stopping to rest; anxious to please Sam. I love my work. Now, the void has been filled. Perhaps we shall meet face to face someday or perhaps I will be blown away by cops with smoking .38's. Whatever, if I shall be fortunate enough to meet you I will tell you all about Sam if you like and I will introduce you to him. His name is "Sam the terrible." Not knowing what the future holds I shall say farewell and I will see you at the next job. Or should I say you will see my handiwork at the next job? Remember Ms. Lauria. Thank you. In their blood and from the gutter "Sam's creation" .44 Here are some names to help you along. Forward them to the inspector for use by N.C.I.C: "The Duke of Death" "The Wicked King Wicker" "The Twenty Two Disciples of Hell" "John 'Wheaties' - R****t and Suffocator of Young Girls. PS: Please inform all the detectives working the slaying to remain. P.S: JB, Please inform all the detectives working the case that I wish them the best of luck. "Keep 'em digging, drive on, think positive, get off your butts, knock on coffins, etc." Upon my capture I promise to buy all the guys working the case a new pair of shoes if I can get up the money. Son of Sam"
It’s sad, really. It shows just how many people in this world don’t get the help they need. This might be a joke about how incompetent the cops are in these kinds of games, but it also makes a comment about modern society and how there are actually people like Eddie Low out there who need help but will never get it. It’s sad, but this is the way of things, I suppose.
Isn't there a reference in gta5 about Eddie low being alive on one of the radio channels something about him talking to the radio host, I imagine if that if the case maybe neko didn't kill him in gta4 as it wasn't the cannon ending
If I remember right the guy says that he has the same name but nothing else matches
I heard a theory once the infinity killer was actually Trevor when hes smashed out on meth and huffed gasoline, but i think the biggest sticking Point was when you huff gas you black out and Trevor is always so self critical and depressed then any other time you play as him. Plus i thin you wake up by a few infinity killer messages. ( Although that my be false memory at this point) It was a few years ago.
Watching this tipsy right now
Eddie low was the real infinity killer
Eddie low is a descendant of edmund lowry jr from red dead redemption and is also the infinity killer from gta 5
Eddie just wants some friends 👀
He keeps them in his freezer
These style videos have my interest more than any other gaming videos as of the past year. I got bored of watching people play games but hearing a well developed topic and video production about in game lore is more interesting to me than playing the games for myself.
I remember thinking this was so mysterious and secret when this game first came out but it's like, the most basic side mission ever now lol
24:51 is that a mention of the movie “colors”?
Eddie Low strikes me to be one of the Innocentz from Manhunt.
Or the Smileys
Gotta hand it to the ones in Rockstar who wrote out Eddie's blogs and info. Calling that stuff "dark" would be like calling the sun "warm".
Should have taken him bowling
Literally just searched Eddie low, perfect timing
The ads were insane this video man, couldn’t go 5 mins without and ad
I like to believe that Eddie low killing the Abrams family would lead to the infinity killer. Hearing about your kids death even if you're separated anf living 400 miles away would drive you mad
you should do one on the infinity killer
