Looks nice but what was with that quench?? Did it harden properly at the low red heat?
It’s a bearing which is high carbon steel so it can quench at low temperature very well than a low carbon steel

The handle looks a bit long, but very nice
I've used machetes at various times in my life. This was looking really sweet until I realized it was a showpiece only as it would break if actually used as a real machete. At least it looks good.
