    Always do your own scope of work, describing exactly what your going to do, you need a signed estimate prior to beginning work. Never ever us razor blades on windows or you'll be buying new windows. Follow up after the completion of the job with the general contractor, if work is acceptable invoice immediately, any call backs are billable and i suggest an hourly rate to cover yourself.

    what company do you use to do background checks on your new hires and how much do they generally charge?

    • @shermanandrewlewisjr
      @shermanandrewlewisjr  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We don’t really have to use it that much but here is what we use:
      bscaibackgroundchecks.com/?fbclid=IwAR3F1jF-BnFNBgQZ-KNOsuWgonwQTvU5QaRiM9HJOax1ON5f8hc_32CS_ME_aem_AbKfACARJPeLAXM59UI-f3fLU9ZZPL4qMtpTZ7g8tsc1NRDwfaCcK9hfEWvtKDvMu9U

    So when you send ypur crew to redo some spots, do you pay your crew additionally? Without charging customer again
    And thank you for sharing your experience!

    • @shermanandrewlewisjr

      Ok thank you for your question. In a situation like this I would actually do it myself to make sure that the issues is handled. And also the cleaners are employees. If they were subcontractors then that would be in the agreement for them to fix client issues. If I sent my employees then normally I would put it on their schedule and pay them. Probably not the most profitable way but it’s what I do at this stage.
      Hope this answers your question.

      Thanks for watching my video and the feedback. You are correct it could have been. I am still learning this TH-cam thing so my videos are not edited and I am really speaking from the heart. I don’t script or prep plan I just talk. But I will do my best to improve and to deliver much quicker. Thank you again for watching and hopefully I will get better. Keep watching and let me know how to bring better content 🙏🏾

      @@shermanandrewlewisjr I like your approach. I'm starting a cleaning company with my spouse (in Maine, no competition LOL) and I consider videos like yours sitting in a classroom. I don't want to rush things. Your mood says as much as your words. I know a few cleaning channels that are tightly edited, slick, to the point, and I don't watch their videos. You're real. You're talking off the cuff. LOVE IT. So, alternative point of view.

    • @shermanandrewlewisjr
      @shermanandrewlewisjr  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Truly appreciate. I try to keep it as real as possible. I’m can’t do all that editing and special effects. And to me it takes away from people like me that just want the info from a regular person.

    Do you charge per sqft?

    • @shermanandrewlewisjr
      @shermanandrewlewisjr  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Hello and thank you so much for viewing my video. To answer your question, Yes we use sqft to price our post construction in addition to the job difficulty and any extras needed like pressure washing, window cleaning, auto scrubbing, ext. Take those and in them together along with any equipment that you need. Hopefully this helps. Please feel free to reach out if you have any more questions or videos that you would like to see. Have a great day!!!
