The T2 is without a doubt the best budget rack. You mentioned the 12 gauge steel without mentioning that most other budget racks are 14 gauge steel including Rep’s racks. It’s significantly sturdier than some budget racks out there. There are also a lot of accessories for their rack. Rep’s accessories for the 1000 series leaves a lot to be desired. Titan has basically everything you could need in a garage gym for the T2: lat pulldown, 10in extension for plate storage, spotter arms, strap safeties, dip attachments, roller J cups…they even carry a mono lift for the T2! No other budget rack that I’ve seen is offering that much customization. I own the T2 and could not be happier with it. I’ll probably never “need” an upgrade.
Hi thanks for the info. Is there an attachment I can hang a punching bag for the T2? I was leaning towards the X3 but now I think maybe it's overkill for me.
I think the big thing would be comparing the rack attachments and do they fit on the competitions rack. For example would the Rogue trolley arms fit on the Titan, Rep, or Sorinex similar racks. I think the attachments are the main driver now with so many companies basically offering the same style rack now.
I will say that almost if not all of the single post attachments Rogue offers for Monster Lite will work on the Titan X3. Pretty much any 3x3 accessory with a 5/8" pin will work.

I bought my Titan T3 in 2011 and have used it 4-5 days a week since. Everything you hear about the older Titan racks, terrible finish, sloppy welds, crooked supports, holes not punched out completely, were all present on my rack. Over the years I have added on various accessories/upgrades to the rack and it seems like each time they have a little better finish and better welds. Of course, the price has gone up along with the quality. Even with the questionable quality of the earlier racks, mine has worked out great and I have no regrets about buying it.
I've purchased a Titan X-3 flat footed rack 4 years ago for my gym and the thing still solid as a bull. I just recently purchased another X3 gray version and love it Titan has increased their quality and improved over the years it's awesome! I even have their old X-2 welded racks they used to offer and had guys squat over 700 with no issues to this date and it's being 4 years. I'm happy Titan is making progress and upgrading their products! I love their X-3 racks!
X3 Flat Foot owner here and I absolutely love it. One of the major selling points is that it’s footprint is fairly compact and can fit smaller spaces. I’m also an intermediate to advanced lifter so it’s beefy enough that I feel safe while doing heavy lifts. Would highly recommend the spotter straps to go with it. I’ve had it a year now and this thing looks like it’ll last a lifetime. One improvement could be adding numbers to the holes however I just wrote on it with a silver sharpie. I agree that this would be the best bang for your buck if you’re in the market and want a solid rack. The T series seemed a little too slim for my needs however would be great for a beginner-intermediate lifter imo.

I’ve owned a 91” X3 Flat Foot for about a year and a half. It’s been great to me so far. I bought some Rogue Monster Lite spotter arms used for it and they work great. The fit isn’t perfect, but they’re still solid. Comparing the welds and powder coat, the Titan powder coat compared to the Rogue is actually as good on the stuff I have imo. The welds on the Titan are good, but the Rogue welds are definitely better looking. Since then I’ve bought 2 Rogue barbells and they completely blow any Titan barbell I’ve tried out of the water. I think Titan overall has great stuff, but like any company has they have strong products and they have weaker products. I’d highly recommend their racks if their specs and price work for you. I definitely plan on buying other Titan products in the future.
I've been using my T3 rack for 5 years. No complaints. I wish mine had the holes on the side like the new version. Other than that it's great. Oh, and those roller cups are legit.
Been rocking my Titan T3 for 2 years now and it's been super stable and reliable for me. I'm actually looking into adding a 12" to 18" extension to it. As much as I would love to just jump to a big rack with 1" holes, my rack hasn't given me any reason to have to do it. But I do want the 6-Post setup to give me some more options. Great work Coop!
Same rack for same timeframe, and I have the 1 foot extension in my cart at Titan currently, mostly for two reasons: moves the weight horns further back from the interior of the rack, freeing up more movement options, and to give me real estate to connect a pulley system to that won't interfere with the main section's utility. Just have to pull the trigger!
Bought the TITAN series before the prices went up and it's unreal how great the quality of the rack was at around $800ish at that time. Obviously only black but since I have frankenstein-ed so many pieces together and there are no differences between my TITAN series pieces, Rogue Monster, or Rep PR5000 just in terms of quality. Ended up buying 12 uprights in total (Titan offered the storage posts separate before Rep did) and saved hundreds of dollars going that route with Rogue shelves, Rogue/Rep crossmembers, etc.
One of the issues I found when I was shopping around is (according to the Titan website) the T3 and the X3 do not come with safeties. So you are looking at at least $50 (for pin and pipe) just to have a functional (safe) power rack. Definitely elevated the cost perspective for the Titan racks.
@@fatman8x57 Yeah I mean I've heard/seen that they used to come with those. Basement Brandon has a video about his X3 where he said they did. But on their website both safeties are listed as 'sold separate'. With how Titan have been in the past there is no telling when they will ship all of their older stock (including safeties and band pegs) and start shipping the new stock. Its just kind of annoying there is so much ambiguity in their listings.
I started out with a T2 rack my wife uses it now. I have a ethos power rack 3x3 1" holes. but all the attachments on it are for the rogue monster or the titan series. It's nice they are all compatible
I have the T3 and a bunch of accessories with it, the lat tower s attached as well. Some more I have to get still. I have a small space in my house so the 82” 24” Rack works best. I dig it. Only way I upgrade is if I move and get taller ceilings then I’ll get the 92” or whatever it is. I basically converted my attic into a gym. 7 ft tall ceiling and the side walls are pitched in angles which blows. But it works great for me being in only 5’8” and my wife is 5’4”Other words I’m sticking with this rack it’s perfect for my needs in every way. Good and sturdy. Only thing I dnt like is when u buy the weight holders u can almost forget about using the back if the rack unless u wanna start moving and taking off plates when u train. It’s what I do when I feel like working inside the cage. Down the road I may buy the extension and put the plates there so I can utilize the entire rack
I got the OG T-2 from when Titan was very small. Rated to 700 but I’ve put 1500 on it (bar loaded plus weight storage expansion kit loaded). Have it outside. Not too much rust issues here in the desert. Since the purchase I’ve upgraded the pull-up bar and have added several attachments. No problems with it other than it being a little short. Next will be 108”
Glad to hear. I’m in the market for a rack and seriously considering the T-3. Titan has upped their game and products are getting almost as good as Rogues.
Thanks for this. I was curious what you thought about the TITAN series for a long time. You often say every 3 x3 1" hole rack is universally compatible, but I've seen videos that say that Rep and Rogue are slightly off in terms of hole sizing, and stuff like j cups from Rep not fitting in Rogue holes. Which makes me hesitate on choosing a rack ecosystem. It would be excellent to see a similar series around comparing all REP benches (AB 3000, AB 5000, with wide pad and not, AB 5100, etc and compare the wide pad against the FB 5050). As well as comparing benches in similar categories (FB 5000, Rogue Monster, Titan Hefty Bench, etc)>
I use the Titan T2 independent squat stands in my small, low ceiling basement gym. I love it, it works perfect. If I ever move somewhere bigger, I probably will go with another Titan rack, probably an X-3
I’ve had the T3 with lat pull down attachment for 3 months now and I’ve been very happy with it. Most of my stuff are from titan and everything’s pretty well done.
I’m glad to hear positive things about the T-3. I’m researching racks before I buy which is why I’m on here. I’m seeing more positive posts about the T-3 plus the attachments and accessories that you can get with it are a great selling point for me. It might just be the one I buy.
The T2/Rep PR 1000 (which are both 14 gauge, for sure) is actually an excellent rack for the vast majority, especially with the accessories. “Higher end lower level” is a great summary.
Please check out that lat pulldown attachment for the T2... Sounds pretty interesting. Also, I believe these racks all have extension kits, converting them into 6-uprights with weight plate holders (even for the budget T2) It'd be really awesome to have a deeper add-on/attachment breakdown. Great video as always!
I’ve had it for over a year and it’s money. If you have any reservations my recommendation would be to pull the trigger. It has been a wonderful addition
I got an X3 flat foot and I’m really happy with the purchase. I feel like the price was reasonable the quality was decent and it will do what I need it to for many years to come
@@dannythomas4964 i have most of the accessories and I don't even use them except the multi grip and rigged the pulley system for my shorty rack. I like the pin and pipe safties, I put vinyl hose around it and I think its better than the safety straps.
I have an X-3 tall squat stand with half rack conversion in my garage. I love it. It was the right price for me. The Titan bench is a different story. I got folded up cardboard keeping the bench from rocking.
T3 short owner checking in. I sometimes wish I had the X3 for easy attachment interchangeability between manufacturers, but that's the only complaint. I've had it for 2 years and I'll have it for decades more. Zero complaints
COOP - I love that you give Titan some love! alot of haters stuck on their years-old experience with some of their earlier (admitedly poorer quality products) I bought a used X2 (discontinued?) its 9 gauge steel, with welded side frames - WAY stronger and sturdier than I had expected from a Titan 2x2 rack I wonder why they no longer make this sort of heavy duty 2x2 (shipping costs?) I think my next rack (it'll be a while) will probably be a 3x3 - mostly for accessory access/compatability
I was meaning to purchase the X2 short rack and was sad to see the line discontinued. Imo the heavy gauge 2X2 with westside holes is perfect for most home gym uses. Iirc it was even rated higher than its larger siblings due to the thicker gauge steel. Glad to hear you jumped on it while it was still available. It's a shame other companies aren't making and promoting this style rack. I'm keeping an eye out for one on my local used market in hopes that someone upgrades and let's one go. Cheers!
Really hit home with the T2. Bought one 2 years ago with hopes to get some of the addons later on and ended up doing just that. I got the extension a year in and the lat pull down this year.
I recently picked up the Titan X3 series rack in orange off their "scratch & dent" section for less than the T3. There were a couple of minor blemishes in the powder coat which (to me) are not noticeable unless you spend 30 minutes thoroughly inspecting the rack. The 2-3 blemishes I found were concentrated on the feet and don't really bother me since the feet are recessed into my 3/4" gym floor anyway. To get the deal I got, I did have to opt for the 80" rack, but I remedied the pull up bar height by ordering the Titan X3 space saving rack accessory box which has the fly away style pull up bar mounting brackets so the bar is now about 8-10" above the standard location. So far, I am more than pleased with the value for the money of the X3.
I have the tall T3, with the strap safeties and I love it. I know everyone is moving to 3x3 uprights, but I actually prefer the 2x3 style. I think the 2x3 is a little more forgiving (allows more side to side clearance) when my 16 year old boys squat or bench in the rack.
@@ymjaredtyler I'm as guilty of conspicuous consumption as the next guy, but, for whatever reason, I'm all about function in my garage gym. I love Titan Fitness.
@@awmlawoffice Me too. I generally am a "Buy Once, Cry Once" kind of guy. I bought my T3 while I was deployed and it was the first one I found available during the pandemic shortage of Strength Equipment. I couldn't be happier honestly. I spent a fraction of what a REP would have cost and I have the 6 post and pretty much every attachment. I could never out grow this one. Very, very happy
I bought the X-2 years ago. Sucks they stopped making anything for it anymore… I got the lat pull down before it ran out of stock, along with some other pieces, and for the most part they’ve been really nice.
I was able to order and receive an X3 squat rack on my door step in 3 days during peak quarantine when gym equipment was scarce. Solid price, even more solid squat stand for the last 2 years. I don''t always go Titan but I at least take a look and compare prices because of the positive experience and quality product.
Haha! I bought that Amazon Fitness Reality rack that is virtually identical to the T-2 with 1 in holes. Yes, it's a budget rack and I definitely overpaid during the quarantine in 2020, but I think it's awesome that Titan's attachments as well as other companies accessories fit including spotter arms, j cups, landmines, dip attachments, pull downs, weight storage pins and other stuff. I'd do it all over again! Like I'll never be able to lift 1000 lbs anyway. Just get a nice commercial bench like an AB3000 or better and you're all set!
Also, I use a LOT of Titan stuff because at the beginning of the lockdowns they were one of the only companies not jacking their prices up OR having their stuff scooped up and resold ad nauseum. I was able to grab a bench, adjustable kettlebell, 2 bars, and some cable attachments for around $500, along with some other accessories later with 0 regrets. My ONLY complaints are that their specialty equipment is expensive, and their benches (at least the V2 adjustable one I got) feels a little light. I'd prefer to have some weight to my equipment, but for ~$100 I can't complain.
YOU SIR are the reason the fitness reality is 300! It went down to $245 last week, I bought it. An hour later back to $300 lol. Thank you for making the review.
Of all the holiday shopping packages I purchased, my Titan and Griffin pieces arrived in the best condition; great protection within the boxes, and the products themselves looked good. My Rogue packages arrived in great condition, but the products themselves were chipped and chewed up. My Rep packages were basically falling out of the boxes; the carriers are responsible for that, but Rep is responsible for providing adequate protection (especially for large pieces)
Now that Coop has a surplus of space, I'd like to see him move every superfluous piece of equipment from the garage to the warehouse, only keeping at home those items he deems core to a great garage gym. Still lots of stuff, just less redundancy. Best of the best.
I got the T3 short rack that is 24 in wide with a lat pulldown. I'm 6' 0" and I fit in it. I love it. I have slowly upgraded it from the base rack and I plan on adding more to it. I'm looking at getting the 36 in expansion with jammer arms and a multi grip pull up bar. Titan products just get the job done and I won't go bankrupt as I fill out my home gym. Their rackable curl bar is a perfect example of this. It just works really well for $120. I only paid $100 because I had loyalty points.
I got the 100” TITAN in White and black. Great rack, everything came in perfect packaging and condition. Had to wait a bit for the multi grip pull-up bar but no big deal. Great product and it’s built like a tank. Would definitely recommend
Ive had an older T2 since COVID started. It does the job. The j-hooks that came with it sucked, but for $40 I got some nice 3rd party J-hooks. Otherwise no complaints. Ive got some other Titan equipment. The welds are ugly, but the gear does the job. If your not an elite Powerlifter T2 is fine.
You didn't bring up the flat foot vs bolt down option with the X-3. Which may be a difference maker between that and the Titan Series. I wish the Titan Series did it .
Literally was shopping for a Titan rack yesterday and today, decided on the X3 but was wondering if GGR put anything out. Turns out he did as I was shopping. I am happy with my choice! Can't wait to get it assembled.
I have the T3 new version. I’ve heavily upgraded it into a 6 post rack and many attachments. Thing is a tank! Haven’t had an issue with it and have had it for 2 years.
As a 91“ flat foot X3 owner, my only wish is the side holes in the middle can be as dense as Titan series, with one hole every 2". It is perfect other than that. Love flat foot, cheaper price of the rack and accessories.
Clicked to see the difference between the T3 and the X3 and was not disappointed, the website is useless for that. I'm aiming for the space saving option and I think this convinced me to spend a little more and get the X3.
Been using them for few years, have the T3 Folding rack, the changed the folding arms to fixed, I have there mass storage shelves, soft box, ghd, some bumper plates, and even their technique bar.
I own a t-3 and I love it...its also upgraded to the point where I have the extension that makes it a dbl rack, I have the lever arms and lat tower on the back and cables coming off the sides. I dont have all the attachments, but I have alot of them and basically I can do everything with my rack. Originally I wanted an x3 but it was never instock so I went with the t3 and I dont regret it. Literally for like 90% of people who want a home gym, the t3 is the way to go. Very affordable, very versatile and reliable and has plenty of attachments for it. Titan is a very good brand and they're only getting better
The T3 was the only rack shipping when I was shipping in the midst of the pandemic run. I was shocked I got 2 in a week. I built a 6 post out of the parts, and sold the extra 2 posts to recoup some costs. I bought all my attachments as they came into scratch and dent.
I have a tall T3 space saving wall mount rack. I love it. Plenty strong, and the angled cross members to raise the pull up bar is clutch. I'm 6'4", so it's really nice to be able to jump up to the pull up bar and dead hang with my feet a solid 6 inches off the ground. Probably going to end up upgrading to REP rack through, because of Ares.
When will Coop review the Rugged Y100? Honestly, it’s an incredible value for a 2”x3” rack with Westside Style 1” pin increments. The extension and the lat attachment are incredible as well.
Have you had a chance to check out Titan’s space saver racks? I was just wondering if all of the accessories for the power racks (like the spotter arms) are also compatible the the X3 spacer saver rack?
I have been using a rogue SML squat stand and if I ever think about getting a full rack, I would consider getting the Titan series but not having westside hole spacing is a turn off
I was recommended to buy the T2 for the price due to the economic effort that it takes for some of us to save for a rack. But I've read somewhere that pin bars get dented if the weight is dropped on failed reps. Can someone tell me if this is true? I also have my eye on the X3.

I ordered mine through Amazon and it came with pin and pipe safeties and even band pegs for the same price it was listed on the website
Coop, great stuff. Would love to see a “best wall foldable rack”
Next will be 108”
I loved my T3 titans! Cheaper than rogue, getting the same job done
According to their website, T2 is a 14 gauge steel, not 12
Flat foot X3 owner here, for just over 1 year. No regrets. Have the reverse hyper on one side and the lever arms on the other plus the wrist roller
I use the Titan T2 independent squat stands in my small, low ceiling basement gym. I love it, it works perfect. If I ever move somewhere bigger, I probably will go with another Titan rack, probably an X-3
I wanna see a review on the X3 Colored rack! wanna see how the powder coat is on those as well
This short T2 with lat pull down has definitely getting the job done
Coop this is awesome! I would love to see a similar roundup with half racks/squat stands!
I have the new T2 with the extension on it to hold plates and I love it. I even use it for group workouts and it stands up like a tank.
The t2 is overall the best because it comes with better pins and jcups out of the box. Love my t2.
Please check out that lat pulldown attachment for the T2... Sounds pretty interesting.
Also, I believe these racks all have extension kits, converting them into 6-uprights with weight plate holders (even for the budget T2)
It'd be really awesome to have a deeper add-on/attachment breakdown. Great video as always!
I’ve had it for over a year and it’s money. If you have any reservations my recommendation would be to pull the trigger. It has been a wonderful addition
I got a t2 a long time ago when it was called the pwr, it's nothing fancy but it still works
I got an X3 flat foot and I’m really happy with the purchase. I feel like the price was reasonable the quality was decent and it will do what I need it to for many years to come
Have had a titan t2 rack for years & love it. Have a bunch of the strongman equipment as well. It's all top notch stuff at budget price.
the x2 was the beefed up version of their small racks and is probably the best heavy duty 2" rack
i have the x-2 also too bad titan decided we don't need accessory's for it anymore
Just got a Titan X3. Just the best value In my opinion.
COOP - I love that you give Titan some love!
alot of haters stuck on their years-old experience with some of their earlier (admitedly poorer quality products)
I bought a used X2 (discontinued?) its 9 gauge steel, with welded side frames - WAY stronger and sturdier than I had expected from a Titan 2x2 rack
I wonder why they no longer make this sort of heavy duty 2x2 (shipping costs?)
I think my next rack (it'll be a while) will probably be a 3x3 - mostly for accessory access/compatability
I just received the T2, it actually measured 11 gauge steel on all down posts and cross member.
I bought the X3 with the y dip best thing you will ever need at home best to put it somewhere you can bolt to the ground you will be happy
Love the T2 for my basement. I got the extension so i can have my plate storage on the rack and it was a game changer. Very pleased!
I have the deeper version of the T3. I love it! No regerts. Also have their cable attachment on it and that works great too for the price.
After multiple videos watched, you have finally grown on me. Had to subscribe.
You bad mouthed Titan for years, now you’re on their payroll 👏🏼 🏆
I have the tall T3, with the strap safeties and I love it. I know everyone is moving to 3x3 uprights, but I actually prefer the 2x3 style. I think the 2x3 is a little more forgiving (allows more side to side clearance) when my 16 year old boys squat or bench in the rack.
I completely agree! I have had my T3 since March 2021 and I have used and abused it. Just as amazing as the first day I used it.
Sucks they stopped making anything for it anymore… I got the lat pull down before it ran out of stock, along with some other pieces, and for the most part they’ve been really nice.
yeah it would be nice if they at least continued to make j-cups for it
I was able to order and receive an X3 squat rack on my door step in 3 days during peak quarantine when gym equipment was scarce. Solid price, even more solid squat stand for the last 2 years. I don''t always go Titan but I at least take a look and compare prices because of the positive experience and quality product.
Super helpful, Doppler. Thanks! Really looking forward to the cross-brand comparison you mention between all the racks.
I have x3 half rack. Solid. Good quality. Great value. I’m happy with it.
I've been very happy with my T3 Series Squat Stands.
Coop is the Bob Villa of gym equipment
I have an older X-2.... RIP
Thank you for your detailed and straightforward reviews.
Bruh coop . Ur literately the GOAT U LEGEND
One is literally sitting in my cart online. Great timing COOP! You've been a great help with building my first home gym
I got the 100” TITAN in White and black. Great rack, everything came in perfect packaging and condition. Had to wait a bit for the multi grip pull-up bar but no big deal. Great product and it’s built like a tank. Would definitely recommend
Which one did you end up getting and has it lasted the test of time?
Ive had an older T2 since COVID started. It does the job. The j-hooks that came with it sucked, but for $40 I got some nice 3rd party J-hooks. Otherwise no complaints. Ive got some other Titan equipment. The welds are ugly, but the gear does the job. If your not an elite Powerlifter T2 is fine.
Absolutely incredible content. You rock for doing this. Going with the X3
I have the T2 71 inch Rack. I love it so far, snd it offers many accessories.
Thank you! We are really trying to decide between the X-3 and the 41"deep foldable X-3.
This little guy knows his stuff
You sold me on the Rep PR5000 a few months ago.. waiting on that Ares pully system to be released prior to making the purchase.
I have the X3 at 90 inches by 30 inches and it just feels epic. Got it on sale a few months ago for around 600 and I have absolutely no regrets
I just got my X-3 tall last week, Epic is a great word to describe it!
That last rack reminds me of the rack from highschool football when our new weight room was just built.
The T3 was the only rack shipping when I was shipping in the midst of the pandemic run. I was shocked I got 2 in a week. I built a 6 post out of the parts, and sold the extra 2 posts to recoup some costs. I bought all my attachments as they came into scratch and dent.
Funny that you mention Dennis Cornelius. I’ve lifted against him at nationals. Dude is a monsterrrrrrr
7:55 Are you sure that other companies' J cups work on the X3? Rogue? Rep? Any exception to the rule?
I have a tall T3 space saving wall mount rack. I love it. Plenty strong, and the angled cross members to raise the pull up bar is clutch. I'm 6'4", so it's really nice to be able to jump up to the pull up bar and dead hang with my feet a solid 6 inches off the ground. Probably going to end up upgrading to REP rack through, because of Ares.
When will Coop review the Rugged Y100? Honestly, it’s an incredible value for a 2”x3” rack with Westside Style 1” pin increments. The extension and the lat attachment are incredible as well.
Shout out to my X2 homies
I actually thinking of going T3 to X3, thanks
I have an X3 squat stand that I’m planning on converting into a half rack. I absolutely love the X3!
Great video keep it up.
I'm surprised you haven't reviewed the new video from rep that came out yesterday on the new Swiss bar
Have you had a chance to check out Titan’s space saver racks? I was just wondering if all of the accessories for the power racks (like the spotter arms) are also compatible the the X3 spacer saver rack?
Looking to get a rack for my basement (7ft ceiling). Debating between the Rep PR1050 or the Titan T-2 short (71”)….
Coop, you mentioned that the X3 doesn't have color options, but they actually do have some options now. I have a silver one and it's bitchin'.
I have been using a rogue SML squat stand and if I ever think about getting a full rack, I would consider getting the Titan series but not having westside hole spacing is a turn off
This was a good review Coop, for us to be better informed and happy consumers (as we will end up buying what suits us more).
👍
I was recommended to buy the T2 for the price due to the economic effort that it takes for some of us to save for a rack. But I've read somewhere that pin bars get dented if the weight is dropped on failed reps. Can someone tell me if this is true?
I also have my eye on the X3.
