    Muito interessante como voçês fazem essa manutenção em suas próprias garagens, parabéns pela atitude e pelo amor que voçês tem pelos automóveis.

    mine needs this too, plus main bearings probably, since the oil came out glittery the night before a drift event..

      Thankfully the oil from this car was clean. If I had to do the bottom end, I'd really consider a swap cause all that work for 170hp is depressing.

    Guys any thoughts on baffling 7MGE sump? Im halfway thru rebuild dont want to run it with out baffling

    • @RatchetFinesse

      There's baffling in the pan for front to back but not side to side. Some 7M people add a little more oil above the fill line for this reason. We don't plan to add anything to the pan, if the 7Ms blow then they're getting swapped for something else.

    How’s that tow rig treating you so far?

      RIght now we really just use it to move stuff around. Once the blue cressida is dedicated track car, we'll do some much needed maintenance on it.

    Does the 7M-GE need to have the Head Gasket replaced like the GTE engine?

    • @RatchetFinesse
      @RatchetFinesse  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      7M-GEs headstuds were under torqued from the factory. If your lucky you can tighten them up to 85ft/lbs (I think thats the tq spec but not 100%) A lot 7M-GEs you run into are gonna have blown or replaced HG by now.

      @@RatchetFinesse Well I am looking at buying this car from a dealership and they can not confirm it has been done. Its got 68k miles on it and everything in the engine is stock. If that tells you anything.
      Since this is only a GE model, would i have any issues putting an aftermarket turbo on it when i choose too?

      #1 rule for making a 7M-GE faster. Swap it. That's why ours are 100% stock with exception to an air filter. Not saying that you can't. It's ur car and ur money. Just our opinion on these 7Ms.

      @@RatchetFinesse swap it with what? Wasn’t your a 7m motor as well

    • @RatchetFinesse
      @RatchetFinesse  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      They are both 7m, but we haven’t spent any money on them other than maintenance with the intention of swapping them when the blow. 1uz / 2jzge / 1jzgte / ls all of these are better options than trying to make a 7m faster.

    What happened to the bad compression?

    • @RatchetFinesse
      @RatchetFinesse  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I charged the battery and got a different compression tester the rear cylinder was low but only by like 10%.
