Great walk-through. You made the springs looks easy. lol…I had someone do mine because I didn’t feel comfortable. My axle shafts and gears are next. Once again, I don’t feel comfortable but that comes from just not knowing.. Hope the pups are doing well. Take care, see you out there.
Thank you! Springs/lift kits, for the most part, are pretty straight forward but I’m all about supporting your local shop or friend too! Gears, on the other hand, are bit more involved. Doggos are well and excited for adventure! Happy Trails!
Cool wrangler bro, wife just brought her a renegade trailhawk and stumbled across your wrangler vid, we not 4x4 fanatics by any means, we do have double cab utes, 07 navara D40 and a 2018 mitsi triton we use on the farm, no upgrades but just front bullbars thats it.
I've got a 99 TJ with 120k miles mostly offroad. I've been through a couple radiators, couple exhaust manifolds, steering pump and box. I run the Currie (now Rock Jock) short arms with Johnny Joints and never had an issue. They give major flex and have never squeaked.
The off road miles definitely strain the equipment! Glad to hear positive feedback on the Johnny joints. On road has been great in our test drives, looking forward to feel the difference on the trail.
@@CBOverlandI had elongated bolt holes on my TJ too. I also took it and had it laser aligned all the way around. It was seriously misaligned and I picked up almost 2 mpg. Now I get 14-15 mpg with 35's a 5-speed manual and 4:88 gears.
My 01 tj hear in Australia.im running a old 2.5 to 3 inch terflex lift kit.35s on stock gears and drag link..thats bent 😂.i hit a kangaroo and collapsed the front springs.my list scares me 😂 great video
Thank you! The never ending modification/maintenance list….. We’d love to get down to Australia someday! If we ever do I’ll remember to watch out for Roos on the road!
@@CBOverland definitely watch out for kangaroo.s in Australia.im just piecing together a wj knuckle conversion for my front Dana 30 in my TJ do you know if I will be able to retain stock TJ hubs in the wj knuckles.i want to keep the same th stud pattern.cheers
Thank you! I’m using a Titanium mig170. It works well, I’m a fan of the 120/240v power option. I’ve used just about every brand of welder out there and for how well this little machine runs I couldn’t justify the expense of the big names. Harbor freight’s warranty is hard to beat as well. Cheers friend!
This isnt a good built. Sorry, but that's the truth. Anyone says otherwise absolutely doesn't know what they're talking about. You're too heavy. You're too tall and that damn low clearance crossmember, jesus.. Steal armor and bumpers is moronic especially with the weight you're already trying to carry. Aluminum exists. i could go on and on but i see no reason to.. FFS use a cheater bar when installing the tire, its so much easier..
Damn Blake - you've got made do it yourself skills. Impressive. I think I'm doing well to just fix a flat lol. Really enjoyed the video.
Glad y'all are back! No more hibernation 😅
Great to see you guys back. Looking forward to seeing more adventures.
Thank you! We’re stoked to get back out on the trail!
Awesome to see an update video!!! 👏👏👏👏
Wow seriously awesome build mate!
Your back! Awesome!
One of the best TJ maintenance videos I have seen.
Thank you!
Wow, she looks great, sturdy and I bet she handles just fine. Cool jeep, too. Not sure about the gas tanks hanging like that.
“For now, we’ll go with the big 4 wheeler and the Seated Heats.”
Man, you talk just like me! Lol.
🤣 right on!
Great Video! Got this guy to Subscribe! and Rattle Can for the win!

Thank you! I wish we had more of those style double cab Utes available in the US. They seem very practical and utilitarian!
Great video guys keep up the good work

Good to see you all back. Jeep looks naked haha
Thank you! And totally agreed! 😆 I’m taking a break from bolting the rack/tent on as I type this. “Clothed” Jeep coming soon! 🤣

Looks great. I was wondering which Titan welder you are using and how do you like it?

You’re not wrong. The ol adventure rig could use to go on a diet and head in for a tummy tuck!
