      Welcome to Cambodia and I can’t wait to back soon too. I will recommend you to visit the eastern side Rattankiri and Mondal Kiri quite interesting to see if you prefer to see the different nature and culture. Kompot province, Kep province &Sihanoukville(Koh Rong & Koh Rong sanloem) is nice place to see and enjoy the seafoods. Siem Reap is always the best place to stay and to enjoy at the same time. Hope you have the good time there.

      Do you have Halloween candies you are giving out? I’m a fraternal twin like Hansel so I’m not into artificial sweeteners anymore. But as the Coming Bodhi Alien who is a fraternal male twin (Preah Ko 🐂 Preah Keo 💎 ) I don’t know you, so how can you speak for all Cambodians? 🤔 But yes England is experiencing a diverse democratic zombie invasion apocalypse which I feel bad for them since I’m Peter Pan… whoops autocorrect… I mean Phnom Pen.

    • @EvanChorm-le6tn
      @EvanChorm-le6tn 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @ There’s nothing wrong with Halloween. It’s a metaphorical holiday about the people living in a time when the world was/is clouded in darkness, ignorance, and superstitions in which they were able to freely roam the Earth. The time before time aka when humans lived like nomadic tribal pagans worshiping the wind. Kind of like today living in a Democratic Republic before the birth and installment of a human God-King on Earth. Hence why it’s called All Hallow’s Eve which means Before it was Holy.

      @ Well it’s an American holiday and I’m not talking about people in Cambodia. I’m talking about this particular Cambodian guy living in America speaking for a Cambodians. And taking away the metaphors, Cambodians in a way do celebrate it when they make food offerings to their deceased ancestors in hopes of not receiving bad luck. Hence the idea of Trick-or-Treat. Food or Bad Luck.

    Cambodia has come a long way since the civil war was officially ended in 1998 but there is always room for improvement.
    There are pros and cons no matter where we live but be open minded and be kind whenever possible as life is short to do the things we don't love doing.

    That is a really wonderful perspective about Cambodia. When people are content and refuse to focus on jealousy, envy, or competition, life is happier and better. Life is not a contest or game, so competition in life is usually rooted in jealousy and envy, which are evil. I see that this competitive spirit is very dominant in many countries around the world, including U.S.A. I also see that countries with the most happiest people, are content and grateful for their lives and are not focused on jealousy, competition, or envy. Countries like Finland, Norway, and Sweden, particularly Finland, have been known to have most happy people in the world. That is due to their values, beliefs, and good morals that they practice. Their focus is on the meaningful things in life, which makes life fulfilling. Cambodians seem to be that way as well even though the country is still economically behind and they endured so much tragedy. However, Cambodia is growing rapidly now and hopefully, their government is replaced with good leaders soon. Those ones there currently, are mostly Khmer Rouge regime members, and out of fear and retaliation, the Royal Monarchy allows it. That is not helping the country and welfare of the people at all for the most part.
    I hope to see much more improvements and progress in Cambodia regarding sanitation, hygienes, government replacement & renewal, and a better judicial system. Much have been lost because of the evil Khmer Rouge. I also see a lot of thais claiming everything that they robbed from Cambodia since the Khmer Cambodian Empire reign, including, tradition, culture, art, architecture, foods, formalities, Royal Court etiquette, etc…. They are spreading more lies than ever these days about their identities and history, especially involving Cambodia. I don’t think all the thais are bad, but it seems like most of them are behaving in this negative immoral manner. Cambodia use to be the Khmer Empire ruling over most of South East Asia way before the thais escaped from their homeland China, as Chinese Pirates to seek refuge in Khmer Empire. Unfortunately now, most of them are still behaving like those pirates, constantly claiming things belonging and originating in Cambodia and manipulating and lying to the world about their origins and history; they are even going so far as to rewrite their history in their schools and universities. That is known as Stealing and Lying. It’s gross! 🤮 It reminds me of what trump and his gangs are trying to do in the U.S.A.
    Cambodia was thriving before the Khmer Rouge and I totally sympathize with the victims, including my friends. I believe Cambodia can get to the thriving seasons again and probably better than ever. It needs to start with good leadership. I hope more westerners and people around the world are more aware of Cambodia and its rich history and culture.
    I see that Cambodians are strong and haven’t lost everything, especially their good spirits! 😊. GOD Bless Austin, Nico, and all the friendly good kind Cambodians. They are genuinely kind just like my friends. I love their foods! 💕

      Thailand has never claimed or stolen anything from Cambodia. Traditions, culture, art, food, Thailand created and cultivated them on its own and some cultures were adopted from India and adapted to the local lifestyle. If you claim this, then why doesn't Cambodia show anything to the world? Or will you claim that Cambodians were genocide causing their culture and knowledge to disappear? If you are going to claim that, Thailand can claim it as well because when Ayutthaya collapsed, people and royal bloodlines were rounded up and taken to Burma, leaving only some people. But why can Thailand preserve its traditions and culture? Because it is in their blood. In the past, only Cambodians accepted Thai culture since the Ayutthaya period when the Khmer Empire was a colony of Siam for more than 400 years. And don't say that everything came from Angkor Wat because that was not yours in the past. The people who created it came from India. Most of the culture here comes from India. The Songkran tradition that Cambodians say comes from Cambodia, in the past they didn't even say Songkran. They just changed to Songkran a few years ago. The sash that Cambodians say is original in the past, they didn't wear it. Cambodia just started following Thailand because they watched the Thai TV drama Buppe Sanniwat. Cambodia has accepted Thai culture from the past until now, but they still say that Thailand stole culture. Only Cambodia can't create any culture, so they have to claim that Thailand's is the original.

    • @LilyCorowsky
      @LilyCorowsky 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@AnkdnClearly, you don’t care about the truth and are still lying and stealing right now like your Chinese Pirate ancestors. The Khmers are genuinely kind people so why are you lying, stealing, and harassing them??? It’s so immoral and disgraceful. The thais never created anything that is similar or an exact copy of the Khmers. Those things are of Khmer and Indian origins. You were Chinese pirates from China. You only care about your Ayutthaya period which began in the 14th century. The Khmer Cambodian Empire reigned from the 9th - 15th century with Khmer and Indian Kings over most of South East Asia. The Khmers existed since the 1st century or before that. The Funan Khmer Kingdom existed centuries before the Khmer Cambodian Empire.
      The first Indianization in South East Asia was the marriage of an Indian Elite Merchant and a Khmer Elite Princess during the Funan Kingdom since the 1st century. That Indian Elite later became the Khmer King. Therefore, the fusion of this Indian And Khmer married couple were the first to create and design things together for centuries to come long before you thais ever existed in SE Asia. There were more marriages of Indian and Khmer elites throughout the centuries. Burmese, thais, Vietnamese, and Laotians are all Chinese descendants and if you don’t look Chinese, then you are probably intermixed with Khmers or Indians because many Khmers have Indian Ancestry. Use your logic and simple math. It’s not that hard so get it through your skulls. Everything in SE Asia originated with and belong to both Khmers and Indians.
      thais tried to steal Angkor Wat many times but lost in battles. Now you thais are trying to steal the Preah Vihear temple as well when Experts and WORLD UNESCO confirm it belongs to the Khmer People built by the Khmer King. There’s really nothing more to say because the truth always prevails . If you are too immoral to accept the truth, that’s your problem. It shows weakness, desperation, and immorality to cover up the truth. It shows and proves thais are STEALING from Khmers. However, there is much more thais were not able to steal and replicate from Cambodia. The things thais already stole are significant and essential to an ethnic group. thais decided to throw away their Chinese heritage and copy and steal from Khmers. Having visited Cambodia, there is so much more beauty there. There’s also a lot of genuinely kind Khmers with good spirits. The world is not falling for your ridiculous lies and deceit anymore. I thank GOD for that. 😊
