I have the same watch, 2nd Rolex I've owned. It's beautiful in person and wears very well. I'm happy with this one overall. The slate dial is awesome in good lighting.
I just purchased a Datejust-41 2023 blue index fluted white gold bezel oyster steel. I love the Sleek sporty everyday daily driver feel & look. Its absolutely my favorite. I've had Submariner blue index two-tone bracelet and just recently Yacht-Master 2 rose gold and oysterflex bracelet. I've sold both for almost even deciding to dive into the datejust 41 acquisition. This one is a keeper!!
Nice overview, I have a white dial on order precisely for what you mentioned... I can wear it 6+ days a week if I really want to and it will likely be in style for decades.
Beautiful watch ,that dial looks great . I own the white version and I love it . I know some people think its a bit plain but for me , its really elegant and versatile. Good review , can't disagree with anything you've mentioned in the video .The only thing I would change is the polished centre links
Thanks, John. PCLs make the watch a bit blingy. More suitable for dressy occasions but the eventual scratches they accumulate will be a pain as they are more visible on polished surfaces.

They wear quite small but for small wrists 36mm is a good size. You won’t regret it. I prefer the 41mm myself, even my wife wears a 41 mm and feels very comfortable with this size.
@@Maarten_official_account I guess I will need to try both of the watches on. I was concerned the 41 inch watch would be too blingy with fluted bezel and jubilee bracelet. My wrist is 6 7/8.
@@Billy-kt8jh try them both when you have the chance. My wife has hers with the plain bezel, oyster bracelet and Wimbledon dial. Mine is fluted bezel, oyster bracelet and blue dial. Both have a completely different look and feel. It’s amazing what different configurations do with this watch. There’s one to everyone’s taste so pick yours and go for it 👍
Depends on your personal taste. 41 mm on an oyster with smooth bezel is the most sporty. I would have wanted a 36 mm on jubilee with fluted bezel if it weren't too small for my wrist (IMO). 41 mm with fluted bezel on jubilee is a bit too blingy for my liking.
@@sweepingseconds8897 thanks for the response, i think im going to get this with white batons, what do you make of the wimbledon? ive heard in the dark not so pretty but is rather cool, this just seems classic elegant rolex, really good video and shots.
@@Row2nd appreciate it. The Wimbeldon is more avant garde and not as classy IMO. It definitely would not be as versatile as this. I prefer the classics more than the unusual, experimental stuff but that's just me.
great and beautiful watch.. but... it cannot rival the elegance of the 36 mm: for 2 reasons. first it is too big. I think 40 mm would have been perfect. and second, that flat bezel, whereas the 36 has a domed bezel. With these two fixes, it would be perfect.
I prefer these to the sports models 👍🏻

Do they make low rattling noise when shaken? Rolex forum say it is normal cause by ball bearing rotors on movement 3235.
The watch actually measures 39mm in diameter even though it's marketed as a 41mm.
Nope, it is 41 mm. Measured it using a caliper.
