for all those with a broken heart at some point you have to let go or your past will destroy your future. My heart was broken over 20 years ago and I prayed to find the strength to move on. Life went on....differently,,, but it went on and my advice is cry like you have never cried before and then wake up and tell yourself that you will get through this and I promise you will.

I found this whole album on a tape in my late grandmothers closet. I've listened to it every day since and every song gives me chills. Reba is one of the greatest female country artist. I love it.

I cried so many tears while listening to this when it first came out. Found out that the world and my life was much better without him. Reba is a female version of Elvis. There will never be another as great as her.
I just gave my daughter up for adoption. I signed the paperwork 2 days ago. She was born 4 days ago. I knew that I was doing the right thing but to say I miss that little girl is an understatement. I know that she'll be better off but I miss her.
I pray that one day you will be able to reconnect with your daughter and that she understands that you gave her up because you wanted her to have a better life that you are not able to give her and that you two have a wonderful mother daughter relationship.
Hopefully you'll be able to reconnect someday. I went years without being able to see my two boys until we reconnected in 2016. Now I have the honor of being a grandfather.
It takes such courage, strength and a selfless heart to give your child a life you could not give them yourself. I admire you. I pray that one day your daughter finds you with understanding and love in her heart

After 22 years with the same man, I lived this song the first of Sept. OK, so he ASKED me to leave, but he did help me pack. I was DEVISTATED, but then gradually I woke up every morning, and came to the realization thta I'm OK, I CAN do this, I CAN get through this & I WILL be OK. I have AMAZING friends & family. I can do this & if you're going through this too, you'll be OK!!!!!

I'd like to dedicate this song to SPC Joni Cromwell who had a hard life & struggled on to brighten every life she touched until God welcomed her home last month at the age of 22. She will be forever missed. Rest in peace little Inch. :(
My other half (husband), just passed on the 5th and I've listened nonstop. Isn't it funny that although your world stops that life goes on? It's honestly been one of the hardest things to grasp for me. My world is upside down, yet everyone else can resume their lives as normal. This says it all for me since losing my fiance in March of this year. I've had many sleepless, tear-filled nights and days when I've pretty much stayed in bed all day mourning. If it weren't for my two teen-aged children from a previous marriage I don't think I would have the strength to go on. I lost my wife to a car accident we were soulmate. I still have her voice on the answer machine and just cant bring myself to remove it . She was alway there for me as i was for her. I wish her farewell and even to day a year later I still think of her and visit her family often.. It feels as if I won t be able to go on w/o her,such a horrible pain...such pain and numbness at the same time...it hurts and then I don t feel anything.
This says it all for me since losing my fiance in March of this year. I've had many sleepless, tear-filled nights and days when I've pretty much stayed in bed all day mourning. If it weren't for my two teen-aged children from a previous marriage I don't think I would have the strength to go on. The world doesn't stop for my broken heart but for awhile my world seemed to stop.
yeah, I guess you're lucky if you haven't felt like this and it shows you can feel that way at any age not just young people.

@flamingangel999 i know what you mean. September 4th 2002 i lost my father im still waiting for him to show up one day. my family knows we will all see him some day its almost been 8 years. and it still seems like day one. i was only 10 years old when he past cancer took him

I love this song & it has a great message that we all go through heart aches & the world ain't gonna stop for our broken hearts! My favorite lyric is "It takes all the strenth i've got to stumble to the coffee pot, the first of many lonely mornings I have to face." I also admire how Reba got an Icee @ the end! I lost my wife to a car accident we were soulmate. I still have her voice on the answer machine and just cant bring myself to remove it .
She was alway there for me as i was for her. I wish her farewell and even to day a year later I still think of her and visit her family often.. I suppose time heals every wound..Just wondering how long....I am still in the house that we got together and know she is there.. I know the world doesnt stop but i miss her so much..

This is the belated tribute from 2 days ago for reba's band mates and crew it's very sad and heartbreaking when you lose your whole crew that are like family to you ,but if reba was on that plane she wouldn't be with us but we are so lucky to have reba around what she's doing is hard work so we know when she's working her band mates will never be forgotten
