Wherry lines has to be one of my favourite routes on this sim. So many quick little scenarios with all sorts of interesting traction. I’ve finished pretty much every AP scenario on this route at least once. I’ll need to get this pack and do the new ones! Really wish I could’ve gotten over to the UK in time to ride the 37s.
Not sure if I'm reading their website correctly but as a casual TS user who purchased the Wherry Lines a couple of years ago I have to pay £5 for the upgrade (good value) but, here's the crunch, I also have to buy the GEML route (£15), the IOW route (£10) and Portsmouth Direct at £6, so a total of £36 - not quite such a good value just for an upgrade. I appreciate that a lot of dedicated users may already have these routes but I'm not one of them. Plus all the add on for the scenarios should I require them.
If you have bought wherry lines from steam you will only need to buy the upgrade and will not require any of the requirements as far as I know. Sadly the only people who can cater for the casual user are DTG Hope this helps
I like the abutment of the disused East Suffolk direct line to Great Yarmouth at Haddiscoe. The distant signal at Lowestoft should always be fixed at yellow as it is a dead end station.
You're absolutely right about the scenery. Making the bleak look interesting. It most is certainly an art, and AP did this so well. They basically went full on with the foliage and randomised it so much to eliminate the repeating patterns. This was a tremendous route, and it's fantastic to see it made even better. Unfortunately, DTG don't have the skills, time, nor inclination to make something this good.

I'm a Geordie but many holidays in Great Yarmouth and the Broads in the 80s. £4.99 - fantastic upgrade price. Won't hesitate. I'd pay that for a decent (eg AP) scenario pack, and this has new assets and so much attention to detail. Where would we be with British routes is TS without AP? Great vid, Al.
Alan. What's happened to the West Coast Mainline Midlands and Northwest routes Manchester Piccadilly section? The Stoke loop is released! But next part is the linking of WCML South? Got to be honest. Never much bothered about either part. Linking the route through Stockport, seems to me the next step to me. Granted I will just have to wait, but in the meantime. Don't see much point in renewing my subscription

Hi this is a question unrelated but googles useless so ill ask the pros. Any idea how i can get a class 37 to power a class 82. Im using the default 82 with the GEML class 90 pack and the loco behind is from the AP 37 vol 2 pack. I saw there was a code used for the AP 67 is there also a fix for the 37 or any loco for that matter?
Can I ask you something to make for a train, that it’s bogies are not looking right. Since you made a Shoe Gear Removal & Bogie Patch for AP’s Class 379, how about making one for the Class 350/2, /3 and /4 made by the same company/group because they don’t feature them except the /1 according to Wikipedia.
Alan, the 20/60 speed restriction on the Underbridge before Brundall Gardens, would the Service priority have been set wrong for the 37 so the 20 mph didn't show up? I thought all passenger services show the hivher permissable speed and freight services so the lower speed but also show speeds lower than the max limit?
As the poswick bridge restriction is weight related the lower speed would apply. Sometimes these restrictions are better signed as MU prefix for the higher speed lighter units..

Because that would not be commercially viable The cost of the custom assets and the cost of the time to place them and redo the foliage would not be cheap and will need paying somehow Sadly if we want to see routes upgraded in this style it will always cost

Does the upgrade work on the steam version (IE without needing the other additional routes)?
I wish AP would make another route as there are very few routes out there that are as good as Wherry Lines

I have to say I think train sim 2022 looks pretty good. They’ve definitely improved the graphics over previous versions.

Also, that was an ESR after Buckenham not a TSR ;) that first board is only used for Emergency Speed Restrictions :)

I've downloaded the newer version of the Hertford loop but there was not starting and ending destinations. Can you help me to work this out please?
