FInally pulled the trigger in august and have really enjoyed the bike for touring. We put 5K miles on it in 2 months. Cost will go up to buy the bikes and package them they way they want, AND they wont get that back in resale later if they want to upgrade to a newer model. Just my 2 cents.

Lots of money for two wheels. Me I am a Harley Fan. Not a MoCo Fan. One can build a pretty amazing motorcycle for that kind of money. Certainly a great bike for a whole lot less.
I can’t help but feel Harley’s priorities are wrong. If they want to stay in business they need to attract new customers at a price point people can live with. I’m from a generation that could afford it but the young people coming into it have to balance living and recreation.

The way the economy is currently, looking at KTM going bankrupt and in Europe where motorbike business is essentially collapsing the majority of people just don't have the funds to spend $30k+ on what's essentially an adult toy. The biggest sales market right now are smaller displacement, cheaper, more basic bikes. HD should take note.
They never will go to small displacement bikes. So many people keep saying this. It may work in some Asian markets but those are already locked down by other manufacturers. Harley is working on becoming a low volume boutique brand.
It’s a touring bike. I think weight is irrelevant. Harley is going cheap. That’s all there is to it. But they might as well get rid of the altar they got rid of all the rest of the other good bikes. The days of the old are gone Harley system, modern American bike and that’s about it nowadays.
You can’t stay in business by getting the largest share of a shrinking market or by steadily pricing your product higher up the average income ladder… I give HD 5 years at their current trajectory.
A blank canvas for the price of a Picasso. And then they sell you the "paints" for extra. Harley's not going to get me again with that. Funny how other companies can sell you a whole car for the price that Harley sells a motorcycle. There's something very wrong there. After owning, riding, and working on Harleys I can tell you there's nothing premium about the build of these bikes and definitely not more tech, engineering, or materials cost than a car yet Harley charges the same. Motorcycles used to be way cheaper than a car. I bought my first brand new Harley for $6,500. The biggest lie that we've been sold in the past 20 years is that a motorcycle is a "luxury" item.
It's to bad... I was going to trade in my 2016 CVO Road Glide Ultra with 76,000 miles on it for a trike. We'll after all the shit, RDS problems and Infotament issues, I decided against it. My 2016 is in excellent condition, has everything upgraded. The only thing I'm missing from the new bikes is the RDS system and I don't trust that. I want to be in control of my bike, not my bike trying to over ride me. Harley is trying to make it so you don't have to understand motorcycle riding. Their trying to make it so anybody can just hop on and the bike will correct there mistakes. I decided to have my CVO professionally turned into a trike with features Harley doesn't even offer (independent suspension with sway bar, 10 inches longer for a much better ride (for my wife's back), a second 3 gallon gas tank and a much smoother body with a larger trunk. The BONUS... it was $25,000 less than a new trike!! People say it looks like it came from the factory. Sorry Harley, I'll keep what I've got. There's nothing for me to gain except a monthly payment.
I ride with a LEMC group and just like riding my bike. I’m getting so tired of MCs flipping me off on the highway and trying to start fights in bars. I mind myself and stink Diet Coke will defend myself if necessary.
HD cries about not enough people buying Harleys while making bikes for the smallest segment in the motorcycling market, charging more for each unit than any other motorcycle manufacturer. Seems like someone skipped Business 101.
If I was in the market, I'd just get another Heritage. If no one saw the end of the Limited and Ultra coming amidst all the other crap the CEO is doing, y'all missed some key info.
Hardly Worthitson needs to un-woke, un-DEI, and do some real hard soul searching before expecting consumers to drop car money on luxury items from a company that Fundamentally Hates Them.
If you buy an SG or RG and have to buy a Limited KIT and a seat and floor boards and more to make it a LIMITED, say $5000 of stuff, what do you think your trade in value will be in 3 years at the dealer will be? It will be the same as a strip stock SG or RG. And you think that will entice us to trade up knowing you just through out $5000 of LIMITED accessories ??? and buy another SG / RG and spend another $6000 on a LIMITED kit that will have no value ? We all know that even if you spend $10k on accessories on your bike, it’s money you will never see again. The 2023 Limited did not sell because we’re all waiting for the new fairing Limited. The Limited better come back ! Period !
Looking like there will be a lot of 2025 sitting right next to all of the 24s they were not able to sell. I have been looking at new bikes even Indian. I found one HD dealer that has 20 blacked out Road Glides.
Ahh them taking the ultra and raod glide and making it a package from what i seen it looks like they've been pushing that route this year anyway cause of the daytripper and what not thats been on the site not to surprising but makinging them close to 30k if not more cause of tax and all fun stuff no new rider or old rider gonna wanna spend that now days with how much everything is i own a indian springfield darkhorse i dont know if thier going same way but if so im happy i got it when i did cause i wont by another American bike for how high they are going anymore
i worked for harley via dealers for over 40 years, including 8 years near you at Low Country and frankly if Harley Doesn't Fire Jochen Zeitz soon i think Indian will soon be the ONLY American Motorcycle, i've not been to Myrtle beach in a while, but i live not far from Laconia and even my wife noticed it, the custom bike world is DEAD everything looks BONE STOCK and mostly over priced baggers, why i still have my 08 Road King and it may be my last Bike.
Doing away with the touring bikes and making owners buy the extra package is just a way for HD to make more money off the customers. Quit using Chinese parts and keep the price lower.
Harley will lose in the end. The lineup has taken the flagship bike and made it a package because they can make more money that way. Everything from color to chrome or black dressing costs something on every bike making the whole starting at 22k on the website a joke when building a bike. Whats next, select your frame and then nickle and dime you on every little thing added to it? Not too long ago, you bought off the floor at a decent price and then customized it with HD parts and accessories as time and money would allow. That was some of the allure, customize it and make it your own. They are getting too expensive to do that anymore. Glad the used market is healthy, cause the new market is becoming a joke..
My riding days will soon be over. I'm 10 years from retirement age and don't see myself selling my bike to get a trike. Also, I'd like to enjoy my sunset years having fun. I seriously don't think in 10 yrs if I unfortunately were to be involved in a "tumble" I don't think I'd want to spend the rest of my days recovering from it. Love my Harley, love riding with buddies but I'll soon be hanging the my riding boots up. The new generation of young people don't really seem to be interested in riding much. I hope to see it change.
They have all but moved nearly all there production to Asia their not American anymore and they seem more interested in progressive politics than making a good product if they don't care about their products why should I.
Harley should make their bikes and all the parts in AMERICA with AMERICAN employees. It's really just that simple. Americans want to buy American products. We The People are sick of buying sht from china.
People already complain about the prices if you go all American prices will rise like crazy. Then have to find American company to make some of the parts
I think you need to quit badmouthing Harley Davidson. That’s pretty much been the gist of all your videos since you had trouble with your 2024 Road Glide.

The biggest lie that we've been sold in the past 20 years is that a motorcycle is a "luxury" item.
I love my 2013 XL 1200 C
I’m a fellow diet coke stinker. Cheers!
HD cries about not enough people buying Harleys while making bikes for the smallest segment in the motorcycling market, charging more for each unit than any other motorcycle manufacturer. Seems like someone skipped Business 101.
When are they going into Bankruptcy?
If I was in the market, I'd just get another Heritage. If no one saw the end of the Limited and Ultra coming amidst all the other crap the CEO is doing, y'all missed some key info.
Hardly Worthitson needs to un-woke, un-DEI, and do some real hard soul searching before expecting consumers to drop car money on luxury items from a company that Fundamentally Hates Them.
Just to clarify when you said "Made in Taiwan" you really meant to say Thailand.
Period !
I wasnt waiting on it. The new bikes are ugly from fender tip to fender tip.
This is dead on! Accessories have little to no value on used bikes. Sometimes they actually hurt resale value.
3:20 to get to the nitty gritty, instead of the shitty 883
Looking like there will be a lot of 2025 sitting right next to all of the 24s they were not able to sell. I have been looking at new bikes even Indian. I found one HD dealer that has 20 blacked out Road Glides.
harley went woke screw them
The amount of people that worry about someone else. Sure does affect people like you for some reason. None of it has an impact on you what so ever.
No more woke than Triumph, Indian, Honda or Yamaha.
Fox “News” told him to be mad about woke so he complied like the good little maga he is. 😂
Just buy second hand!
If you think HD is Woke don’t buy from them. Help them go out of business.
Harley sold out when they decided to manufacture over seas. Bring back to the American people. Let us manufacture that American motorcycle
Ahh them taking the ultra and raod glide and making it a package from what i seen it looks like they've been pushing that route this year anyway cause of the daytripper and what not thats been on the site not to surprising but makinging them close to 30k if not more cause of tax and all fun stuff no new rider or old rider gonna wanna spend that now days with how much everything is i own a indian springfield darkhorse i dont know if thier going same way but if so im happy i got it when i did cause i wont by another American bike for how high they are going anymore
i worked for harley via dealers for over 40 years, including 8 years near you at Low Country and frankly if Harley Doesn't Fire Jochen Zeitz soon i think Indian will soon be the ONLY American Motorcycle, i've not been to Myrtle beach in a while, but i live not far from Laconia and even my wife noticed it, the custom bike world is DEAD everything looks BONE STOCK and mostly over priced baggers, why i still have my 08 Road King and it may be my last Bike.
at the beginning of the day only cool harley davidsons the cvo's.
I am more off a stripped down bike kind of guy but longdistance why not a bagger
Big boy, I like your smeduum shirt & all those rifles are so manly!
Made in the ol' US of A or Thailand?
👍👍
they need to sell out to some japanese company that knows how to build bikes then get rid of all the union workers
Miami 35.000 rg 2024 aytsade the door😂
Harley Davidson is dead to me.
Because you’re soft or can’t afford one?
I’d buy a Triumph from the U.K. before a Harley from Thailand. Those new Sportsters have got to be the ugliest bikes ever.
Unless you want a Speed Triple or a 1200 explorer the rest are made in Thailand
@ The 1200 Explorer is one of the Triumphs I’ve already had. Far better adventure bike than a Pan America.
@@vmonk1474 That 1200 Explorer is a nice bike. About equal to the BMW GS. Harley Pan America a distant third (I've ridden all three many times.)
Are overpriced and junk now
My riding days will soon be over.
3:40 man ran a red light LoL
They have all but moved nearly all there production to Asia their not American anymore and they seem more interested in progressive politics than making a good product if they don't care about their products why should I.
Harley=🏳️🌈’s
Two dealerships closed in LA and Orange county! Go Woke, go broke!!!!!😂😂😂
A big dealership in Atlanta just announced that they are closing as well.
Wow…what an original burn. You are so thought provoking. 🤡
I'm glad I won't be looking to replace my old '98 Sportster with anything new, if I did, it would likely be with an Indian!
Trump causing high prices for all bikes.
Bullpucky bonehead! Get over it, you lost. 10 bucks says you don't own a motorcycle. I'd bet more, but Bidenomics screwed me!
You Americans are funny
Only the maga 🤡’s. The rest of us are (sort of) normal. 😂
@@jameshylander7118 True. An all American made HD would cost $50k- up.
@@jameshylander7118 I'd settle for North American made. Mexico is better than the Commies.
I think you need to quit badmouthing Harley Davidson. That’s pretty much been the gist of all your videos since you had trouble with your 2024 Road Glide.
