Not true. They don't pressurise anything. There are blow off channels form side of injectors shafts ( little holes) allowing blow by gases to escape outside. They can bee seen if you use little mirror as they just above exhaust manifold but amateurs will not know about it.
Mine wasn’t very noisy to be honest hence they often get left for a long time before being fixed. It’d be more like a chuffing noise and I’d expect it to be worse when warmed up. Ticking or rattling that’s worse on startup tends to be timing chain related in my experience but as always it’s very hard to diagnose a car without seeing or hearing it.
@@IAMASPANNER thank you for reply i have found other videos with the same noise as mine and they all replace the copper washers and no more noise i have also had a reputable mechanic have a listen and he has ruled out the hydraulic lifters and timing chain so i am stumped for the moment
great video just did mine and never attempted job like this so vid was invaluable

Hi mate
Could you tell me the size of the cutter tool ?
I’ve got one but looks like it doesn’t touch the entire surface
Thanks

Both washers are correct, the tapered ones are newer model.
Hi, great video. I have done one side of mine, currently doing the other side, what size cutting tool did you use? Thanks
No torque to the TTY bolts? Was new ones? Thanks
Hey mate can you send me the part numbers if possible for the weathers and stretch bolts ?
