Beth!!!! This is awesome! I love the presentacion. I think that the flavour of this french toast is so yummy. I love this recipe with all of those spices. Have a happy day my friend! Patricia.
Well, I was going to make scones for Christmas. Guess not! This looks fabulous and the infused maple syrup throws it out of the water. Thanks for another great recipe! Merry Christmas!
I love your video's and this looks amazing! You look great and I would love for you to do some "What I eat on a daily basis" video's to go along with the dishes you create for special occasions and serve to guests that you already show us.
Look’s hummy, but as a Canadian, only one cup of syrup wont cut it 😋 we drench our french toast in it in my house!!! Have a great christmas and all the best for you and your family!
Love my most recent basket in my December Box delivery. I notice you have a Sel De Guerande salt container, where may I find the same container. Thank you and Happy New Year.
I have to make this! P.S. I used my basket as part of my charcuterie display it was beautiful! I have a request...do you mind filming a real live dinner party? Perhaps what you cooked for it, the table setting, and decor? It would be lovely!
Very scrumptious! 👌 Question though, will this work with a spongy raisin bread loaf? I too love my raisins hahaha and because it's hard to find a brioche loaf on my side of the planet. Happy Holidays, Beth! 😊
That looks so delicious! Even though I was distracted the whole time because I'm a ballet dancer and I was dancing in my head to the background music 😂🙈
Aloha....I've enjoyed your channel so much. Thank you. If I want to do this in a smaller baking dish......how would you recommend I change the measurements? Again......mahalo!
Awe so glad to hear that you've enjoyed the channel! :) thanks so much for the support! :) sure you could definitely cut this recipe in half and maybe put in a 10" Cheesecake pan or 10 x 10 Brownie tin would work too! Let me know how it goes! :) Wishing you and your family all the best for the happiest of holidays!!
I did the liquid in a wide jug so I could dip all the bread pieces, and then poured the rest of the liquid over the top of the bread slices in the dish. I thought just letting the bread sit in a pool of the liquid would create weird distribution; pouring the liquid on top allows gravity to do the work for you as it sits.
This recipe looks scrumptious, Beth! Question: if we were to use ground cinnamon in the syrup instead of a cinnamon stick, would that be ok? And if so, what amount (1/2 tsp)?
Oh sure you could try that. Ground cinnamon is really strong and concentrated so a little goes a long way. For 1 cup of syrup I would start with 1/8 of a tsp and then add more if you think it needs it :) Enjoy!
Hi Beth..This is one of my favourite things..I love your festive version..looks really Delicious..the finish touch of snow capped mountain look just made it so..on point. May we all enjoy the Holidays..Merry Xmas dear..you look great in that orangie red btw..C'est tres jollie..I think! Can you do a video that references Ratatoiie..not sure the spelling. Like a paris theme.!! For 2018 Fan. Love you. You are Awesome lady. 💖☺🎉🗼💌💌r.s.v.p
well you could try that, but it will take a lot more fresh ginger to get the same flavor that concentrated ginger provides. About 1 tbsp of fresh ginger to every 1/4 tsp of ground ginger. So that could be a lot of fresh ginger :) But if it's all you have, sure you could do that!
Beth’s official slogan should be: “it all can be made the day before” lol! I love it!
LOL! You can tell the holidays at our house are filled with "next-level" chaos! Ha! And things need to be easy!!

Would love to try your recipe! However, wanted to know if the recipe can be halved?
Oh sure you could definitely cut it in half no problem! ;) hope you enjoy!
Would there be an acceptable ingredient to substitute the molasses? Two members of the family despise molasses.
Oh sure here are 5 different options you could try :) www.thebalance.com/molasses-substitute-1388891
Hi, Beth. Your french toast looks gorgeous, just like you. What's your best tip for washing potatoes for fries? Have a good day, Beth.
Oh I'd have to say to soak them all together in the sink and then give them a good scrub all at once :) Merry Christmas Byron!
hi beth, is it the same if i use fresh grated ginger instead of ginger spice?
well you could try that, but it will take a lot more fresh ginger to get the same flavor that concentrated ginger provides. About 1 tbsp of fresh ginger to every 1/4 tsp of ground ginger. So that could be a lot of fresh ginger :) But if it's all you have, sure you could do that!
now this is click-bait ladies and gentlemen....YUMMY!
need to stuff some cream cheese between those slices.
