This is one sweet machine guys, I'm very fortunate to be offered one for testing and evaluation, I plan to use it to improve my building skills so no excuses now 👍
Designer, Master builder & now manufacture. Brilliant Cliff. That’s a nice print out of us. If you play around with the settings, you should be able to make it more detailed. 👍🏻
Yes, a laser is a great device. I also have a 5.5W laser and an MPCNC CNC machine. Every system has advantages and disadvantages, and it's good if you have both. 👍
Yes, I agree Bruce, in the UK things from China are very cheap, I think the Chinese Government pay the postage, or at least a percentrage. I don't know if that would apply to NZ.
Fantastic! Again you are taking everything to a whole new level. A potential future project for me would be to "Kit" the Towner models. Very nice to see how you lead the way!
Thanks Andrew, yes HJ Towner produced some cracking designs, like your Mosquito, which by the way I see you link on Outerzone. I rather fancy his Lancaster or Beaufighter, cheers.
@@CliffHarveyRCPlanes Indeed those two and more are in my sights. I need to get single engine models to fly and then go up gradually. This will take me years...

Another string to your bow Cliff, looking forward to the next instalment, never to old to learn something new.
Hi Gary, thanks, I'm not sure how many more bows I can handle ... it's an age thing 😁👍
This is outstanding Cliff. Congrats man. Designing your own planes, and cutting your own kits. Very nice!
Thanks Adam, it's not that difficult just there's a lot to learn and figure out. The laser itself is fairly straight forward 🙂👍

I know lol, it's a scream, loads of settings to play with Chris but not loads of time!, Cheers 👍
@@CliffHarveyRCPlanes yea I hear you about time for fun. Have a great day Cliff.
16:37. That is Really interesting to see the ribs etc in balsa wood. Thanks. Laurie. NZ.
Hi Laurie, yes, balsa's my medium, the laser's a brilliant piece of kit for cutting intricate pieces, cheers
Brilliant, looking forward to seeing the kits
Thanks Colin, link in the description but every model takes an awful lot of time to get just right, but one kit is a start, cheers
Oh, very interesting! Congratulations on this great device, Cliff!
Thanks Sabrina 👍
Cliff fantastic laser kit which should produce your plane kits so that even a hack building like myself can build and fly, Jeff in LA USA
Hi Jeff, it's a start and you're no hack! Cheers
Very nice bit of Kit.
Now, I know who I can send my parts too for cutting. 😉😉
I don't think it'll slice up Lidy gliders ... but you never know!
@@CliffHarveyRCPlanes I do a lot more than Lidl gliders. But while talking foam will it cut Depron foam. Micro Aces
@@RcAircraft Good question Stephen, I've not tried yet!
Great looking laser Cliff. Very polished kit with minimal assembly. And an e stop is a bonus.
Thanks Tom 👍

Absolutely Rolf 👍
Very nice bit of kit. I've been looking at getting a laser cutter but I suspect freight would be the killer for me 😕

Now all that remains is to find a suitably sized shark (reference: Austin Powers).
I've got a blow-up one somewhere!
Exciting times ahead
Absolutely Mark, thanks for watching, cheers.
Looks some great kit Cliff. I thought Christmas came once a year but clearly its once per month in your workshop.😂
Ho Ho Ho Robert, I'll have to get some tinsel around it!

@@downwindchecklist6567 Lucky you're a young man Andrew ... no rush enjoy the journey 👍
Safety warning: Do not look directly at laser again with remaining good eye!
Absolutely Bruce👍
that is nice be interested to know how it goes further down the line Cliff
Hi Kev, yes, very nice machine indeed, it opens up new opportunities, cheers.
You look a bit squinty eyed at the end there Cliff. Looks like a nice bit of kit, seems quick as well. No mention of cost thought.
That's because I didn't know how much it cost Nick at the time of filming 🙂👍
Sorry I was to busy looking at what I could do with that foam sheet 😂
I know what you mean Nick, I thought straight away 'now that looks very nice!', cheers.
