I think it's mildly entertaining that the reason why OverWatch doesn't have a delay to its movement when you input a movement key is because the devs weren't FPS developers originally so they had no concept of a movement delay that most FPS's have.
Doomfist probably has some of the most fun movement (yet punishing) to his playstyle. Once you start playing him well, he gets really fun to play. Same with lucio if you actively try and eliminate snipers and such.
As a Ball main (i'm not biased at all,) I feel like he has the most fun movement in like, any 3D game, which is probably a stretch but I don't care Also nice video :)
Totally understand if you don't wanna respond to this, but can I ask what changed between the beta and final release of THE FINALS? I've only played the final release, I'm curious what I'm missing out on.
I can't remember the numbers, but there were nerfs across the board to the light class movement, despite the light class being the weakest of all of them. Lower run speed, increased cooldowns that kind of thing. It was just annoying to me since stacking 3 heavys was already the best strategy and one of the best ways around it (I found personally) was running circles around them as a light class though it was still painful because of how MASSIVE they were together
Great vid, although gotta say, I played Val for the first time last year, and... damn movement in Val is so shitty lmao and the slow effect when you get shot is aids XD It's like you have to turn yourself into a baby playing with a keyboard for the first time whenever I move around. It's not like other FPS like Overwatch for example where you press keys as if you're a pro Korean Starcraft player lmao.
getting slowed when you get shot in val is my number 1 enemy, one random spray and pray bullet and now my legs are broken and there's no wheelchair nearby
