Hey J...... Happy New Year Bro ! Yeah its always good to know how fast you are going and to know what your battery voltage is so you aint pushing that bad boy ! If ya had a pedal kit then you could always revert to a lil bit of a lost art of pedal power ! lol
Happy New Year George… Definitely useful.. Me especially I use voltage to calculate my travels/charging of and I do have a pedal kit… but it’s more like ghost pedaling… lol 😝 they work but very very lil resonance… 🤦♂️😝💯💪
As soon as I get mine I’ll show you how I do it… Now just keep in mind I’m old school so I don’t use today’s conventional methods but I can get them bled… 🙌💯💪
Hey bro I bought these same brake kit and the reason the rear rotate does that is because it is a floating rotar so it vibrates back and forth I don’t know why but that what my friend told me
I have 4 Magura MDRP 220MM that are floating Rotors just like the ones on this video and they don't have that shaking. I'm pretty sure they're considered defective if they rattle like that. I remember watching some vids on TH-cam where the MDR-P rattled too though.
WooHooooo.. Liverpool England…. 🏴 How awesome is this… Super stoked to read and know the love and support is spread so far… Thank you for watching and thanks so much for commenting… 🙏🙏🙏 Greatly appreciated… 🙌💯🙌
hi Sir E..hehe..got issue hope to hear fix, big old motor sealed good, heats up,yes volts high park and frost /condensation, freezes solid. options drill holes let condensation out,1 but salt in as canada and deep snow, or is "stator fluid" can buy inject in good sealed casings to improve power(hint hint).will it frezze.and or help..or keep using heating pad pre use..not easy out on trail in deep snow..
Ouch… 😓 you drilled holes… Is it an ONYX speak of… Very POOR recommendation by John Sanchez in NYC… probably the worst thing in the world you can do for installing the statorade… I’ll look into the temps that it can handle and get back to you…
@@mr.e_from_nyc drilling out a hub, not geared..is a solution from dutch..it works great 3 1" on each side.. but wires and salt..lotta green in spring. so its yearly re wire/scrub out,use good loom tube, winter hub. so true hole bad but no choice ive found..yes can flood out in water easy..never use best motor to ice ride, get studs in New brunswick, legal place in canada..but cannot stop this years motor from, almost flash freeze.. got 1frame tore out already stopped too long in deep snow, spit wheel off..now heat pad works..but only at home..question i like to know too, is will geared hub freeze, like gearless, what gives..nylon gears?..i wait delivery of new dual motor geared..safe for winter use?..as 20 years at this..i have 3 external bolt on motors from mountain tour

Mr E! I love all the work you've done on your surron but what happened to your RCR? Onyx is back in business and I'm debating on getting one and going down the upgrade/mod rabbit hole, but do you like the surron platform better? What's your opinion on the comfort/speed/agility between them? Thanks!
@@jamesomega Firstly Thank you… 🙏🙏🙏 Hands down it’s a way better bike out the box… 📦 Suspension is far superior as well as the amount of modifications… Ultimately it’s a big decision on your part… my advice would be to find someone within the community that would let you ride each to help you make your decision… Alamo remember my ONYX is completely stock except for the POWERFUL Lithium Battery and tune… if it was upgraded then maybe the tide would turn… Honestly… I’m really waiting to read that ONYXMOTORBIKES has fulfilled the orders to all those people that paid and didn’t get their order shipped out before endorsing them…
I dont understand why they mounted that front caliper so low on the bracket. Are you sure you dont have it reversed somehow? Just seems like it is very vulnerable down low to hits from rocks etc.
I just ordered these! How long do you think I could make the pads last with casual - mid style riding, so like doing wheelies and kinda quick but not like trail riding crazy, pretty much just slightly over how much most people use their pads, do you think I could get over a year? I had a little husqvarna ee5 a while back that could do 40 mph and had similar brakes and I got like 3 years out of the pads, not sure if I could do that with this
Hey… 👋 these are a buddies but I will ask him… I have another friend that has had his for 3 months now with similar riding and he’s still on the original pads… 🙌💯💪
