2005 World Championships in Athletics Opening Ceremony

This is quite a poor quality VHS recording of the "2005 World Championships in Athletics" event's opening ceremony held in Helsinki, Finland.
In this clip, we see a weird pyramid-like contraption "floating" down to the stadium. The contraption is supposed to be "a time machine" operated by a person called "Professor X".
