I'm a drum teacher and I'm certain that Eminem practices drums. The dead give-away is his mastery of subdivisions: everything from quarter notes to 32nd notes; dotted 1/8s to sextuplets. Even if you don't understand a word of english Eminem kills because he's doing drum solos with his mouth.
Man that deep. Crazy that you can hear that and that you’re certain even without the proof. But I’m inclined to agree with you because his delivery is just so insane and constantly morphing and changing. Like you said,….that’s the dead giveaway!
thats sick tho being a musically - inclined dude that does it as a job which is usually singing and rappin, something a regular person would expect it to be, comes out as unpredictable coz, of the variety he is able to produce in a single song but, seems undetectable coz, only the pros on that certain area or scope is/are able to decipher such intricate yet interesting thing. Only they are able to confirm for how unique each person is, shows you how deep and thought-provoking each other's differing and unique skills/abilities every person you meet or every stranger you pass on the street.

But also, the “Fuck top 5, bitch, I’m Top 4, and that includes Biggie and Pac” portion was also a genius way of saying he’s the best rapper ALIVE. So twice in this song he is genius at saying he’s the greatest (along with the first verse of him saying he keeps up with his competition by listening to his old albums)
This is also his way of saying “fuck you” to himself. There are 3 Personas Eminem (the rapper) Slim Shady (the dark/mentally challenged), Marshall Mathers (the vulnerable/emotional character)

In Till I Collapse he says his list of top rappers and Pac and Biggie are on the 3rd and 4th spot.
He never actually said where he and slim shady land in that top four, it could interpreted as him saying that he's so good that him and his alter ego are 1 and 2

MMLP2 doesn't get talked about enough. This is when people fell off with Em because they just don't understand his lyricism. People are too into the basic mumble garbage rap now. They should apply themselves more.
What I love about this song is that if you have been listening to Eminem his entire career you can clearly notice the difference between Eminem Marshall Mathers and Slim Shady which all make an appearance this is like a song that has every Alter Ego in it I think it's one of the best he's ever did
One thing that’s crazy about this and it can be missed very easily because he’s doing so much in this song is he started the 2nd verse with a Bieber rhyme scheme, he loosely carried it throughout the verse and went back to finishing it with the Leave it to Beaver scheme.
This guy just never ceases to amaze me lol. And I have heard Evil Twin more times then I would like to admit and never noticed that.
I can't imagine how much pain Eminem's pen goes through every day when he thinks of all these rhyme schemes~

I had heard eminem before this album but this was the first one I bought. Went to target and got the deluxe version with the like 4 extra songs or something. This is still my favorite album to this day.

It was on the welcome 2 hell album by "bad meets evil", which is what Royce and Em used to call each other back in the day. Then The Reunion references W.T.P. from Recovery. The freaking title of this song, "Evil Twin" has a double meaning in itself. Royce and Em refer to each other as the evil twin. Crazy!!!
