1) The baseball scheme/lexical
2) Range Rover being shot up scheme/lexical
3) Rover being red as in Red Rover game
4) "Roll over my opponents instead" is a trick dogs do. What is the stereotypical name for a dog? a Rover. This follows into the dog bark scheme.

Derringer is a gun to shoot something and a terrier used to be known to be a good hunting dog that was known to hunt and kill on its own if needed so he’s basically saying he’ll bear hug a killer. But it’s also a dog that drools so it’s a dripper but it’s also an older style dog and as ric flair’s and older style and classically known wrestler too so it just hits so many levels... plus flairs a GOAT in his own right so it’s just another way to put him up in that list of GOATs

Fyi: “up north” is a common term used in Michigan. Basically a large majority of Michiganders who live in the southern part of the state have cabins in the more rural northern part of the state where they vacation or hunt. Thus, when they go there, they are going “up north”.

When I was younger, I actually used to get, well, sort of upset.. when people didn’t truly get and fully comprehend all the doubles and triples in songs, and I’d feel the need to explain why the line was so hard.. but this guy makes me feel like a fucking idiot! But a platypus is most assuredly a venomous oddity due to its venom sacks akin to snakes and reptiles. The animals you mentioned seem to blur the lines between poisonous and venomous. Shrews, loris and the bats you mentioned have developed their saliva to incapacitate its prey (the bat you included has a anticoagulant not venom) It’s similar to but not the same. Gilla monsters have been classified as venomous but in fact they are non venomous, their toxic bite is due to eating carrion. Even the skunk was included in the venom category. An animal with venom sacks was what I based my statement on. My opinion although clearly debatable. Side note thanks for correcting me on the platypus bite.
