I actually picked this up mate earlier and runs really well on the 4080 Super Frog reckons it's running a bit better on Nvidia when I showed him my FPS Seems to be a sophisticated vram system that uses extra if you have it, I found avg was just over 14GB on the 4080 and I did crank all the settings to the highest Maxed settings DLSS Quality 4K FPS was pretty high mostly, lower at parts but decent enough, Native DLAA was like 45fps to 60fps but ran fine DLSS looked really good to me I'm not familar with the more realistic driving games as the last one I played was Gran Turismo over a decade ago but I was having some fun with it I was totally shit 🤣 But got to grips with it on my last race a bit more
@RJTHEGAME Nice man! Yeah I could tell when I started the game up immediately the AA was gonna be an issue in this game. So probably not surprising DLSS looks pretty good. I'm gonna mess with it a bit more tomorrow and see what I can do. How's it on controller? On wheel, the game feels amazing. I'm pretty sure it'll turn out to be a pretty awesome game in the future. Ai i find surprisingly bad at launch which is the biggest surprise. I'm sure they will fix that soon.
@@Spratty-wb3is 👍Yeah Controller support feels good so far it's just me getting used to the game pretty much Must feel great on a wheel, if I get any good I might get a wheel at some point 🤣
Here's my take 😂. 16g should be fine for at least next 2 years..9070xt and 5080 is 16g...only card over is a 5090 this gen. Also let's be real you have to use a upscaler once you hit these settings and fsr isn't the best option. Do you choose dlss without the textures or use the textures and let' fsr strip the detail out?? But beyond the point you even proved it's fine on 16 and runs better on a 4080. If the 7000 series gets fsr4 that will be a big deal. I'm not excusing 16g for top end cards I still think more the better. I also can't excuse keeping fsr4 ai upscaling on top end cards either. To me only way out to lord the vram and non compromised experience is a 4090 or 5090 if we play that game.
@c523jw7 Yeah defo mate Agree with that tbh I was worried about 16GB but maybe this will actually force Devs to optimize games and scale them better since there will be only one GPU over 16GB which is well overkill with 32gb LOL As I say before I'm not a fan of how Indiana Jones worked vram because I basically wasted an hour trying to find the best settings on a 4080 when it wasn't very clear what Texture pool I needed You don't need Very Ultra and Ultra imho lol It just confused me that I much prefer the games that use the vram that you can afford rather than having to crash, resetting my overclock in the process which pissed me off before I even played the game For me Devs need to do what Call of Duty Does and this game, just use the extra vram if you have it on a 24GB GPU which makes sense otherwise it's kind of a waste or just scale it better once it detects it's a 16GB GPU I think i'm more open to buying a 16GB GPU this year for say a 9070XT just to try out FSR 4 if it's cheaper price but still think I may hang on to see how a 5080 Super is since the 4080 Super will probably be more than fine imo The 5080 not looking much more powerful than a 4080 is why I think I will wait because think the 5080 Super will be better and possibly extra vram, there's potential for it I think so smart too wait
