OSU couldn't get Michigan outside their comfort zone. You can't let Michigan get the lead and choke you out boa constrictor style. Michigan also made no mistakes in executing their game plan. Kyle McCord had a tough task and did not rise above the pressure. It was a close game but yes OSU is broken right now. I don't know what we are going to do but I always root for my Buckeyes as an OSU alumnus. Maybe we will get them next year.

False Dwand Jones said tried but didn't have time to change much. Its obvious OSU lost a ton of players from last year and almost won at your house this year. 2020 Hairball was broken didn't show up in Cbus and started the cheat program. This year does not change the past two years.
Two big takeaways for me is, one, It feels like OSU is letting the fear of losing "the game" interfere with the game plan of how to win "the game" . Two, at the end Michigan was the only team that could walk away knowing win or lose that they threw everything they had at it, the calls on fourth down, the trick plays, the overall game plan, they made the calls and executed when it coutned and it paid off, OSU cannot convince me they did the same.

Only thing I disagree with is that it’s Michigans last shot. Especially with a 12 team playoff on the horizon. Tough schedule but they can get in with 2 losses if the losses are close and to higher ranked teams. They just need a qb and speed at the wr position and they are good
They’re losing a full lineup of starters at 44, maybe more. It’ll be hard to even get to 10 next year unless Orji or whoever is lights out to start the year, especially since we have to play Texas next year early.
@@Ohhelmno they’re losing a lot but they also play a lot of underclassmen so they’ll still have guys on the team with experience. Almost the entire defense is back unless someone declares early. That’s good start. The offense will be completely different but they’ll be fine. The transfer portal will help tremendously.

Stealing signs doesn’t mean you have the exact play they are running. That’s almost near impossible to decipher 4 people on a sideline throwing in signs. You might get a few right but everyone is overthinking this. Yes, everyone steals signs but it doesn’t assure you of a win. This clown thinks Michigan knew every play teams were running.
Ask any head coach, having him for 24 hours a day for 6 days in a row is FAR more important than being on the sideline, when that coach doesn't call offensive or defensive plays.

My takeaway; Ryan Day coached very conservative and needed to be a lot more aggressive. He twice passed up 4th down conversions and it came back to bite him. Those Ohio State players did not have the body language or mentality to win that game. It’s awesome to have the major psychological edge on Ohio State.

The Game delivered. I want to disagree on the turning point, though. The turning point was when Zak Zinter went down. Michigan was moving, but that sealed the deal in their hearts. And then Corum busted the next run for the TD. That was the end. OSU's back was broken. The interception at the end was just icing on the cake.

Eventually Ohio States' superior depth would wear the other school's starters. Then came Michigan. The Wolverines can recruit top talent. Coach Harbaugh has instilled toughness, a victor's mindset, and confidence. It is good see a school other than Ohio State represent the Big 10 in the major post season games.

They’re losing a full lineup of starters at 44, maybe more. It’ll be hard to even get to 10 next year unless Orji or whoever is lights out to start the year, especially since we have to play Texas next year early.
@@Ohhelmno they’re losing a lot but they also play a lot of underclassmen so they’ll still have guys on the team with experience. Almost the entire defense is back unless someone declares early. That’s good start. The offense will be completely different but they’ll be fine. The transfer portal will help tremendously.
Been has WR's but Harbaugh has to let go of the archaic offense and let the WR's get the ball. His offense neglects them in favor of tightends

Stealing signs doesn’t mean you have the exact play they are running. That’s almost near impossible to decipher 4 people on a sideline throwing in signs. You might get a few right but everyone is overthinking this. Yes, everyone steals signs but it doesn’t assure you of a win. This clown thinks Michigan knew every play teams were running.
If your signs are easy to decipher, then your team is probably a bunch of idiots.

My takeaway; Ryan Day coached very conservative and needed to be a lot more aggressive. He twice passed up 4th down conversions and it came back to bite him. Those Ohio State players did not have the body language or mentality to win that game.

The Game delivered. I want to disagree on the turning point, though. The turning point was when Zak Zinter went down. Michigan was moving, but that sealed the deal in their hearts. And then Corum busted the next run for the TD. That was the end. OSU's back was broken. The interception at the end was just icing on the cake.

I wont say were better than last year till I see us in the playoffs. The major difference is OL play. This year's OL doesnt hold a candle to last years. I think JJ is better, the D is better, but if we had lastyears OL we win it all easily. Time will tell. Go Blue Forever!

What these two can't grasp is JJ is a clinical game manager. Game manager QBs don't have the star spangled stats but can beat anyone.
Ohio State's dominance of the Big 10 originated from recruiting. No other school recruited 4 and 5 athletes better than the Buckeyes. You could see the vast superiority in the scores with Ohio State beating its brethren by 30-50 points. Sometimes an opponent would hang tough for two to three quarters. Eventually Ohio States' superior depth would wear the other school's starters. Then came Michigan. The Wolverines can recruit top talent. Coach Harbaugh has instilled toughness, a victor's mindset, and confidence. It is good see a school other than Ohio State represent the Big 10 in the major post season games.
Ohio State needs a big time QB, McCord isn’t the guy. I think he was probably only highly rated because he was throwing to Marvin Harrison in high school.
