Sweetie, my heart goes out to you with your ibs struggles. Have you ever taken kefir? I started making it at home and wow it is amazing. Healing the gut will really help. And, if you like okra, try having fried okra- it does wonders. I had issues as well, but laxatives were far too triggering for me. Incorporating a simple bran cereal was also quite helpful for me. But do try the kefir... and consider a complex (multi strain) probiotic as well! I’ll be thinking about you...

I understand that some may think this, but I definitely don’t think so. In fact, since sharing my journey my recovery has improved so so much as I feel so supported by everyone and feel a sense of community and love. I also think it’s important to show that recovery isn’t a quick fix and that it’s a long journey (which is something I didn’t know at the start). And I want to help break the stigma that mental illness is something that should be hidden. But thank you for your question xx
