Range Rover swamped by tide and faces being washed into sea

- This is the moment a £40,000 Range Rover was swamped by water after a powerful tide pulled the luxury vehicle out to sea in Suffolk. The vehicle was fully submerged and stuck in the tight grip of the wet sand last Friday evening. Coastguards and workers were forced to return the next day to salvage it after even rescue efforts went astray. Police are continuing to investigate how the car became stuck on the beach.

Rover is obviously TOAST! Saltwater immersion ……….. wonder what the insurance adjuster said? In the northern US & Canada ice fishermen park their trucks and SUVs on frozen lakes which is fine with 16” of ice and vehicles “distanced” from one another. Look up trucks falling though ice on TH-cam. Not only do they lose their truck but…….the expense of hiring a diver to ‘fish-out’ a truck from a 100’ DEEP lake $$$$$$$$$$
They know what they are doing when they park in these places, with a £40k vehicle.

The owner went down with a trailer attached to get his jet-ski out the water rather than use a slipway on a Friday night. Two high tides washed over it. A couple of wanna-be recovery operators attempted to recover the Range Rover as they didn't know what they was doing nor did they have suitable equipment. Eventually, a local recovery firm came along and got the vehicle out. Hope this helps 😊
