Really a great collection of nice models! Not as large as mine as I own about 29,000 Points of Destruction. But you have some models I still lack, although that's the case vice versa as well of course.
This is awesome. Destruction is my favorite army too. I play mostly beastclaw and ironjawz but grots and the gutbusters are cool I really want to get a rouge idol though. Edit: also I noticed that you have many forge world models. However I also happen to notice you do indeed lack a magma dragon....
Haven't gotten far enough in on AOS as I'd like but i have a mixed army of mostly spiderfang, then moonclan stabba's with Fanatics inside and finally a single unit of rockgut troggoths. It's not competitive but it's creepy looking. Destruction is fun .
Would love to see an update and where destruction is up to now with the Sons being out and new Ironjawz on the horizon. My own Destro-force is up to nearly 10k now (Kraggy will be my final model to surpass that mark)
I have to say both Moonclan & the Rogue idol can deffinetly be strong and worth their points! especially together! Rogue Idol was more or less made for a Moonclan army rule wise! Rogue idol also got a nice buff on it's warscroll for AoS 2.0! it can buff the puny bravery of the grots with +1 and a proper moonclan army should have 3-5 Shamans, and those can get buffed with +1 to casting from the rogue idol too! the rogue idol itself work super strong in conjunction with a Moonclan grot horde, placing them in a 2 row deep formation around the rogue idol at the front forcing the enemy to get into combat with both of the targets at once, anything that wants to smash the horde also get hits by the hardhitting Rogue idol, and anything with high rend lethal attacks against the rogue idol will have to smash through the Horde first or have 2" or longer weapon range! I'v won against Tzeentch lists and Stormcast lists that are tournament ready with my moonclan army in AoS 2.0! :D Here are some pics of my army if this tickled someones interest: imgur.com/a/0PFcr2J
why do I love destruction... well this is why I love destruction. idmediatly has the camera go over the squigs. they are the most dangerous creatures on earth even the baby ones,so I built this cage to keep the away from people. (the last words of the grot who was guarding them before Mathews squig stampede episode.)
That is good news. I did remember seeing them once or twice however I was not sure if those were studio models or not. I do rather enjoy the Bonesplitterz as a faction as they have a lot of flavor while still being fairly playable (IMO strongest destruction faction outside Beastclaw Raiders and can do fairly well versus heavy monster Beastclaw builds). They also have a large focus on magic which is unique for Destruction in terms of just how much magic you can toss out in some builds (6+ spells a turn can be fun). All those goblins make me SQUEEE. But no re-basing for me thanks. I know they should be round but they rank up so nice in the display cabinet. And movement trays.
A measly 5 Squig Hoppers. I am both amused and saddened by how awful they are. They are just worse than normal squigz. Surprised that there are no Mangler Squigz or Rockgut Troggoths. Also, don't you guys normally give us the model count in these videos? Something like, "90 grots with spears, 60 grots with bows, 60 squigz, etc."
