- I must try and complete a series of tasked within an hour all while being hunted down, and it turns out a certain brown car is far more stealthy than expected.

I assumed Dangerman would have alerted the hunters to freeze in place... and the blimp landed somewhere that it got hit by a vehicle and exploded.
@@tylertheotaku9270 I thought the amount of time Stevie eluded the mercs was pretty impressive, especially since STH Hunter rules limited his options for firing back.
The blimp he was supposed to be targeting was actually in his view just a couple of seconds before he transformed into the Beast, but he missed it 43:40
The hunters probably wouldn't think that Alex would keep a brown car after the task. So it was a good move
if he had stayed in the customs shop longer and gotten bulletproof tires or something i wonder if more of the hunters would have driven off? or did they know eh was in there
@@Nderak I think you could see the end of the shop door closing for a hunter when he’s pulling into the back lot. They were already there and I’m sure waiting a bit longer could’ve been even worse. Probably wasn’t the best idea to go to the shop everyone would else would be headed when the chase ended 😂
After the ride Alex gave Dangerman, I don't blame him for jumping out of the car at the destination.
Dangerman always dismount his cabs like that... Hence the name. 😉
I just imagine him yelling, "Keep the change!!!" as he exits.

probably would have been better just to pull out a pistol and shoot at him, a bullethole in the car makes it more difficult for him to blend in again (and maybe you get lucky and hit a tire)

@@Timberwolf69 The moment I saw the "you have a chance of becoming The Beast" message, it was almost certain Alex would be because why would any of the film crew select it? They were in the middle of filming STH. If someone else also accidentally hit it, Alex would have had better odds, but chances of that were low.
As a kid I would wake up on the weekend and be soooo excited to watch cartoons. I guess I'm still a kid, and you all are my weekend cartoons. :D thanks, and stay awesome.
I love the dangerman taxi, its now a classic staple, you should include it every time. Final task, last 5 minutes every game; You become the hunter of the hunted, spawn a weaponized vehicle (or not) and try to kill the lobby yourself. GG

I think the reason why you were able to stick with the brown Oracle for so long is that after a while the hunters probably thought you changed it, so they weren't even looking for it anymore 😂
Yeah I was thinking the same, they couldn't still be looking for it. Seeing two people in a car was probably more of a clue that started the chase, and then I bet they realized "He's still in the same brown car!"
I wish he would explain the rules better. I didn't know the hunters knew his tasks too.

Alex, when you upgrade your ride, also upgrade your gearbox, it makes gears change faster and pick up the speed quicker. Great video as always 😁👍

The Halloween event goes on for several days after Halloween, so it's possible Christine will put in an appearance in the next StH!

@@knowlean20 -- That was last Halloween, 12 months ago. Since this is STH #52, I'd look at STH #39, #40, and #41. Or whichever was released November 1st, or maybe the one after that.

I'd really like to see this one from Stevie's perspective, I suspect we may hear his reaction though in the hunter chat audio.
Maybe Laddo or Amy will have a good view of the mercenary shenanigans.
I love the Taskmaster variation. What about a Hunter Taskmaster? Give the Hunters tasks to complete, and when (and if) they do them, the Hunters would receive data like Alex's current location or the color (or model) of the car he is currently driving. Make the tasks something that requires multiple people to achieve (like a group of 4 selfie at the top of a building, etc).
Also, Alex gets tasks details so he can take out hunters. E.g. Hunters get in a Pri, if Alex finds the right Pri he gets to stickybomb it.
Someone tag the crew.
Give the hunters and Alex tasks at the same time. If the hunters finish their task first, they get intel on where Alex is. If Alex wins, then he keeps the hunters from getting this intel
The trouble with hunter tasks is that the standard FR format is Alex POV, so no matter what antics the hunters get up to it doesn't add to the viewing experience unless Alex happens to be in visual range. It's not impossible for the crew to tweak that format, of course.
@@modothegreat108 Notification could be added afterwards ("Hunters have completed a task and now know my immediate location!"). For the viewer, the sudden appearance of the Hunters (from Alex's POV) would add excitement as Alex goes on a wild running spree.

Laws of physics and gravity essentially don't allow a ball to "fall over" it will instead roll, assuming it's inflated, pumped up or in it's original spherical mould shape.
You know, I still can't get over the sheer level of detail in this game! Sometimes you forget when you are playing it and these FailRace games allow you to sit back and take the complexity and work that has gone into the GTA5 world. Bloody amazing. Great video, thanks.
And GTA Online is exactly 9 years old today! It's definitely not as modern as new games now, but it's impressive how well it has held up over time.
First time I booted up the PS4 version (played on PS3 before) I spent half a day just taking photos of weeds growing through cracks in the concrete and other details. It takes a company as dedicated, mad, talented and large as Rockstar to get gameworlds to this level. (at least for this scope/interactivity/how much it feels alive, it's not hard to make a fantastic little diorama in UE)
The best thing on TH-cam by a mile. Could watch this forever.

Starting at night is def a titanic advantage as you get 2 nights in the 24 hours in which its easier to blend.
39:50 Alex simple logic, changing cars = risk, repairing car = risk, but your car is tuned up so if you do get seen its harder for them to catch you

Choppper is a better escape air vehicle than a plane, as the plane needs a run up to take off, which can easily be blocked. Anyway another brilliant STH
Not fully watched yet - but TaskMaster STH is my favourite, especially the IRL challenges always a good laugh

How is this so consistently entertaining even after so many years
Task : Add multiple stunt ramps, Alex should do a set of stunts, preferably in a sports/modified car or better yet he should use the racing cars or Bikes which should be destroyed in the next task so that the super car rule doesn’t activate.
Transmission is probably more important than engine, really improves acceleration.
And you should always go for brakes, despite how little it helps.
This is a nice version of STH, smart to include a deadline rather than being able to run out the clock. I miss the STHs where there were like 14-15 hunters, made it much tougher. Recruitments coming soon? (I know it's hard to find trustworthy people who won't use maps)
The timer should become a permanent thing. It rocks

You should really consider one of your tasks being that you have to get on a motorcycle for a period of time. I've been watching these for the last few years and every time that you consider using a motorcycle you rightfully decide against it. I think that riding a motorcycle for a minute or two would be a cool task to add in.
i've been noticing something that if i was a hunter i'd be looking for, Alex at red lights stops and leaves too big a gap between his car and the one in front of him, and noticed he has always been doing this, .. come on hunters open your eyes LOL
BeastMode and Alex did an identity swap halfway through. Plus Laddo survives at the expense of Stevie. Great Episode Alex and the Crew.

Task: Drive a Lori down the wrong side of traffic while intentionally crashing into vehicles causing chaos for 1 minute straight.

STH is actually training for what to do/not do if you're the target of a manhunt
Just watched the limits, since you only lasted 20 minutes, things were so hectic they paid no attention to you and impending doom has no buildup or forewarning; a tank coming around the corner might suddenly run over you from behind and you have no chance to run for example, maybe instead try running in a fast car the whole time. No more waiting at lights, or maybe you only allot yourself up to a total of 5 minutes waiting at lights, kind of like a submarine running out of oxygen or battery charge, so you can't stay incognito for an unlimited amount of time before they find you. That might even be interesting on a normal STH.
Hi Alex, a bit of advice for easier UI - in the settings menu, you can checkmark which radio stations you want to be present at the selection wheel. This way you can limit it to 4 for example and easily turn it off (nobody listens to more that 3 anyways, right?)
I never ever touch the radio. That way I feel like I experience all that the game has to offer from country music to talk radio to hip hop.
Alex Day, I beseech you; Please have a garage full of stock-appearing street cars that you can call up after the game starts. You won't have to worry about what cars are spawning if you have a decent variety, and if they're pre-modded, you will have nice, fast getaway cars.
This series is made so much funnier by Alex’s surprisingly poor knowledge of the map

Yup! 100% expected you to call the mercenaries on Laddo! Although you surprised me by choosing Stevie after saying that you are going to call them on the person you would least likely to. I was expecting you to call them on Blakey. I mean, you would never go for violence on team orange. Also, I get not wanting to do all modifications. But why not also modify the transmission and possibly the suspension? The transmission could definitely help increase the speed of your car. I guess it would depend on the vehicle for the suspension. I know some vehicles have issues with bumps, curbs and other things like that.
IIRC the beast just chooses a random person in the lobby, unless you have the event hidden.
I always love a good STH but the timer at the end was an excellent touch

I love the STH videos! Would love to see something like an inlay map showing all player locations, only viewable to the YT audience.
We have that occasionally when there's someone available to actually be the map person, but that takes away a hunter, and they already dangerman as the Taskmaster in this one.

I think it would be interesting to have a survive the hunt, where you have to blow up the prii's like normal but one of the hunters is also trying to blend in the whole time. So there would be suspense like even though you don't see any obvious hunters around you wouldn't know if they just happen to be nearby and see you do it.

I feel like taking down the blimp is worth giving away your rough position; it makes any subsequent chase easier to end, and lessens chances of being spotted in the first place.
Survive the hunt idea: Whole map is open to alex, but, to recompense this new freedom, Alex drives about in a super modified pri painted the brightest pink imaginable. Oh, and the number of hunters is added to. Another STH idea: survival of the fittest sort thing, every one is the hunter and the hunted. All players start in different locations. Players must kill each other until there is only one last person standing, who is crowned the winner.
Gotta love these! ive been trying to catch up and watching all of them!

You underestimate the brown Oracle, they aren't actually that uncommon, although they're more often black to be sure.
