I was constantly surprised that the fire engine was still in the distance during that part! I didn't think they would get through the jump much less the first of the many turns he took underneath the overpass
it annoyed me as F that alex did not spot such a clear and blatant fire engine right behind him there. it was really aggravating, how blind can you be, it was also clear to hear that he was close by all the time.
That would make it way to easy, also, all the hunters are in an open chat, so it might be pretty obvious who the “imposter” is. It would be the one with long silences(from the hunters perspectives)
@@jaidenbrink Not necessarily. There are some hunters that are quite a bit silent in hunter chat. Longbow is often keeping for himself, as is Blakey for example. Or pick one of the more "outspoken" ones like Chris. Noone would bat an eye if Chris would call the other hunters to Mirror Park for example, only to say a bit later, when every one is on their way and out of the area that Alex is in, that he mistook a janky AI for Alex. Happened to often already. If the imposter does that only a few times, the other hunters have to be careful. If they are onto it, they can search other areas, than the one the imposter had called out, giving Alex the chance to blow up a Pri in exactly the called out area. Or they are following the imposter's misdirection and open up other routes for Alex. That way a helping hunter might work.

The few episodes we get in the snow every year are my favorite. Lake Alex comments on how the snow is going to be a problem constantly; it rarely ends up being an issue, but when it does.... oh my God!! it's glorious!!

Don’t forget, the blimp is a huge target. You could easily use a normal RPG to shoot it down. You can also peck at it with a sniper rifle if leading your shot is too difficult.
With what a big risk it is to try and shoot the blimp down I think it's kinda bullshit that it gets infinite flares on top of the usual difficulties tbh.
Heavy sniper with suppressor on it should do the job, ever since they buffed the time to live for the sniper rifle projectiles, you can make hits with it beyond render distance for characters. (Just aim for the pilots station and either kill the pilot or eventually just blow up the vehicle.) I used to whack people from "troll towers" apartments roof top down in the carpark for the down town LS customs all the time, couldn't see the player inside, but just aimed for the drivers seat. Really pissed people off... got accused of hacking alot.
Remember when driving to Bergen for work and 8pm in June 2019 getting to the hotel, and receiving the gem of Survive The Hunt. It made my month of crappy night shifts onboard a vessel, ending up in Manchester, where everything was closed. Bummed AF, but at least the journey was started with a banger
Kind of seems like a blink-and-you-miss-it type thing, especially when you're busy fleeing; it's like in real life, where it's much easier to notice random things as a passenger than as a driver.
This is the best one yet, a lotta close calls and constantly moved in and out of danger, customized a car, and finally took shots at that blimp, I've been waiting for that but you should probably use a sniper next time that should blow it up
Hey Alex! Just a tip for the future - when upgrading a car, always upgrade transmission as it helps to pick up the speed faster with gears shifting more rapidly. Don't use a ponytail hairstyle as it's quite rare. And don't underestimate the firetruck, it is pretty fast and picks up speed very well. 😉 Great episode as always!👍👍

Biggest problem with this is cover to swap cars without being seen. Not many places to hide in the docks where they start and AI traffic is easily available without a hunter noticing. Would be awesome to see work tho

You guys should do one with the 8 Priis like this, but you don't have a time limit. Instead you need to blow up all 8 of them and still escape. I know it would take longer to do, but it would get increasingly more difficult for you as the amount of Priis left dwindles down to 1 left. I'd like to see that extended version of STH.
I love these videos! I wanna see a full throttle version where he has to destroy a minimum of 6 Pri's in a day, whilst getting commands from the task master and a specific escape route/vehicle that he only finds out when all other tasks are complete. Get Alex out of his safety zone a little more. lol
That hillside firefight was so tense. I was so sure at one point that someone had seen you crossing the road, so would have surprised you in those crucial few seconds you were running around the house without turning the camera at all. But hey, it all worked out. You escaped with ease.
I think he quickly flicks into the rear view and even then a 1 second view is hard to see anything, if you didn't slow the video down then I applaud you for your attention to detail, to catch something before confirming it by slowing the video down.

With the homing launcher, you can still dumbfire it, just point and shoot before it locks on. I'm not sure if they still get the missile lock warning, but they definitely have less time to react if you just point and fire before it locks. Otherwise, you might want to look into explosive rounds for the sniper rifles. The rounds travel much much faster than rockets, and they get no warning because it doesn't lock on at all.
Very varied episode this time: Shootout, foot chase (kinda), car chase, reverse car-jacking, upgrading... I was just hoping for an aircraft finish, but I guess boat isn't bad either.

Idea for a STH: you have to survive a full day, but you also have a 10 minute timer on each pree kill. Maybe 15 minutes at the start. Bonus 5 minutes added to your running pree time for each hunter that you kill. You can make the times up yourself. If you take too long to get a pree kill, it's game over.
My god that failed blimp homing was hilarious, how the hell do you manage that???😂I think it takes 3 or 4 shots by heavy sniper to blow up a blimp, new rail gun might do it in one shot. If there was not limited time I'd say no problem stay in the hills as long as you want but with every minute worth gold I tend to get testy at Alex casually chilling by the pool😬
Another great Escape I thought when you had to abandon your car in the hills you were done for but incredible wits always win out! Well most of the time!

Survive The Hunt: Hitman Edition. Several hunters are VIP Targets at specific static location on the map. The hunters must both seek out the Hitman, while also protecting the VIP's. Alex as the Hitman must eliminate all VIP target within a time limit before making an escape. In addition to VIP's. The Hitman can destory Prii's across the map for additional time to be added on. VIP's can't move from their location/ hide from sight. Can't enter vehicles. But can defend themselves with a sidearm and can enlist a hunter to be a bodyguard. (Optional) Once all VIP's are taken off the board. They can join the chase as regular hunter reinforcements to assist in tracking down and stoping the fleeing Hitman.
I would love to see a STH in Blane County. I know its way more desolate compared to the city and might be boring in comparison, but you never know unless you try. I would love to see how it would go in a more challenging environment like BC

How about a sort of " tag " version. When/ if alex kills a hunter, they are now working for him. It could be as simple as driving the same style or colour of car. It could be they have to blow up a pri. Imagine a coordinated effort when 5 pris blow up across the map at once.

Using the number of pris exploded to determine how many options of escape you have. Ex. Only 1 Pri Exploded, you must use a plane, 2 unlocks helicopters, 3 boats. Ect. That way he hunters can plan on how they should attempt to catch you.
just a thought of a strat. Get a super car, get caught, escape then sit in a bad car. Logic being they'll be driving much faster so won't look as much and they'll be looking at other supercars and not regular ones. Kind of an all in strat yes

Always wondered why he doesn’t start the game in a really rubbish car he never uses and get it modified,would probably put it on par with the faster cars and would really fly under the radar as the chasers know he wouldn’t use certain cars
I think you need to blow up a minimum of 5 Priuses before you are allowed to escape. You should treat it like a mission where you can't proceed to the next section until you have satisfied certain conditions. This will force you to play a little differently where you will need to think outside the box to complete the challenge. Also, if you had stored that Shafter after modifying it, you could have simply got out of it in a quiet area, use the action menu to return the car to storage and then used your mechanic to deliver it back to you all repaired.

Alex is too charitable re the derpiness of natural intelligence in drivers. Actual people do some damn derpy things behind the wheel.
This game perfectly captures the essence of metropolitan California drivers as well as the asinine traffic signal behaviors, going by my experiences.

Have you seen Alex use a sniper rifle? He'd aim at the blimp and shoot a firetruck instead. 🤣
The railgun is also an option now - though that might be a little over the top for Alex's weapon set.

Survive The Hunt: Hitman Edition. Several hunters are VIP Targets at specific static location on the map. The hunters must both seek out the Hitman, while also protecting the VIP's. Alex as the Hitman must eliminate all VIP target within a time limit before making an escape. In addition to VIP's. The Hitman can destory Prii's across the map for additional time to be added on. VIP's can't move from their location/ hide from sight. Can't enter vehicles. But can defend themselves with a sidearm and can enlist a hunter to be a bodyguard. (Optional) Once all VIP's are taken off the board. They can join the chase as regular hunter reinforcements to assist in tracking down and stoping the fleeing Hitman.
I would love to see a STH in Blane County. I know its way more desolate compared to the city and might be boring in comparison, but you never know unless you try. I would love to see how it would go in a more challenging environment like BC

How about a sort of " tag " version. When/ if alex kills a hunter, they are now working for him. It could be as simple as driving the same style or colour of car. It could be they have to blow up a pri. Imagine a coordinated effort when 5 pris blow up across the map at once.
That was a great episode. For the next one, could you try to do another STH at the countryside, or maybe escape the country with a getaway driver?

A valuable take away from this is, that despite having a similar shape, blimps do not make good submarines.
Always use the RPG on the blimp as it has no lock on warning

Using the number of pris exploded to determine how many options of escape you have. Ex. Only 1 Pri Exploded, you must use a plane, 2 unlocks helicopters, 3 boats. Ect. That way he hunters can plan on how they should attempt to catch you.

Logic being they'll be driving much faster so won't look as much and they'll be looking at other supercars and not regular ones. Kind of an all in strat yes

Always wondered why he doesn’t start the game in a really rubbish car he never uses and get it modified,would probably put it on par with the faster cars and would really fly under the radar as the chasers know he wouldn’t use certain cars

I think you need to blow up a minimum of 5 Priuses before you are allowed to escape.
You should treat it like a mission where you can't proceed to the next section until you have satisfied certain conditions.
This will force you to play a little differently where you will need to think outside the box to complete the challenge.
Also, if you had stored that Shafter after modifying it, you could have simply got out of it in a quiet area, use the action menu to return the car to storage and then used your mechanic to deliver it back to you all repaired.
