Your home will never be good enough to be compared to a Cotswolds house, even if it's a mansion. I visited from Greece and I have to say this place is so tranquil and inspiring you feel like you're transferred to another time, I can't imagine living there but one thing I have to say is that because it's so touristy people who visit should remember that people actually live there their everyday lives and we have to be as discreet as possible

During this pandemic, travel vlogs have been a real source of joy for me. I can kind of escape the banality of lockdown and being unable to go anywhere. Dream of places around the world or even think of doing this sort of road trip in my own country.

The Cotswolds is so beautiful, I just love it. I was there for 3 days in early June and it was gorgeous. I do wish Bourton was as quiet as it was when you went! The area is so pretty, I took 1300 photos in 3 days!
Try telling the locals this... All through the summer and spring it's packed with tourists leaving London cal families and their children with little space or things to do.
As I live near I find it pretty but boring. I've seen these villages every day for many, many years ..you start to see the true character of the not so local home owners and greed

I live in Moreton In Marsh. It’s a couple of minutes from Stow on the Wold. It’s a beautiful place and truly lucky to have been born here, lived here my whole life and will never leave. We love that people enjoy it as much as we do!
I agree! I'm just outside cirencester (got married in moreton though!) and I never have any problems with tourists coming here. I like to see them appreciating the place.

I’m from the U.S. and have gotten to stay in the cotswolds twice for work. In Fairford to be exact. Each time I got to stay for a few months and loved every minute of it and can’t wait to go back and explore more! Thanks for the great video it was very informative. I think that the places tend to close early all the time since that was the case for my visits as well.

I have lived in Broadway for over 20 years and still love the village, lots to see and a visit to our Museum is highly recommended.
I almost bought a house there 10 years ago but sadly was too far for me to commute to work. I was there in May and went on the steam train. It was wonderful.

They forgot to mention Blenheim palace is a must see in the Cotswolds. I would also recommend Sidley castle and exploring the beautiful churches. Amazing.

You missed off the number 1 requirement, you HAVE to be born there or VERY wealthy 😁. I have visited the Cotswolds every year for the past 15 years, usually for a week ( except 2020 ☹️ ) Utterly stunning.
wow than I guess you are born rich enough to travel last 15 yrs bravo can you plz suggest any reasonable cottages to stay as airbnb or rent for the night. i will be traveling with my daughter and 2 toddlers grandkids
Totally spot on Mel.. I did the same but only did it for 10 years running..but I realised that once you've seen the stunning places and decided (if you could afford it) to move there I think you'd find the stunning scenery would wear off and you'd struggle for things to do so I personally think just visiting is much better and keeps that "magic" alive of the Cotswolds!..I live in north Norfolk where it's just as magical but with plenty more to do.🙂
I went to cotswolds last month. I went to aston pottery, chimney meadow and stow-on the wold. Really loved that places. Next time i will try the places you suggested. Thanks so much for sharing your tips. I always wait for your travel vlogs..

I live not far from the Cotswolds and have visited numerous times. I'd just say that visiting during July/August you could be overwhelmed not solely by foreign visitors but day-tour coaches with English senior citizens. So much for tranquillity having to side-step other people wherever you go!
