thank you youtube for randomly recommending me this video, wouldnt have thought to check that this game was on steam and had a mod to make it playable. I only got to play the demo as a kid and always wanted to finish but the one time i got to download it, couldnt get it to run on the newer pc so getting to play it now are memories
Hey, if you need any help setting the game up let me know. There are 2 ways to play it on modern systems. Either play with Julius mod that is almost like vanilla or Augustus mod that has lot of new things but is also harder to mange all the new features.
yeah i ended up jumping in the augustus mod and got a bit frustrated by poor planning in stage 4 that i dont understand the game enough to fix(the low food military map) so now running through some tutorials here to understand the mechanics more @@commissarmarek-main-channel
Ok no problem, if you need anything let me know. Augustus can be very confusing. You can also read the manual on the site where you got Augustus from. @@sirki2885
unfortunately ive now run into 2 frustrating problems,2/3 markets are always leaving a few houses unfed in your effecient block. edit just realized my dumb self didnt enable global work force like i thought @@commissarmarek-main-channel
No problem thank you for watching. :) Everyone started somewhere and most players are noobs so there is 0 shame in it. I hope you found at least some of the things usefull.
I guess the in game explanation for the increased desirability on high ground would be that the houses have a view. Which I mean makes sense, house on the hill with a view out across the valley would be nice.
I haven't noticed the deliver to workshops, thanks for that. The developers of Augustus said that gardens/statues/(any beautification) have the same desirability. Am I remembering wrong? Religion was always significant in culture, it gives 30 points for perfect coverage.
Gardens and small statues are the same but large/medium statues are obviously better. Plaza has 1 less range than any of the other 1x1 things but its still super strong. Lararium is also 1x1 but still better than a statue if you just need as much desirability in a small area as possible. Other drawbacks are there but i explained it in the video.
Your post edit text should not have that many spelling mistakes. It's literally text put in post recording, so why not make sure it's right? It's called reviewing your work. Just do it, people.
Two Reasons. 1 english is not my first so even when there migt be an obvious error i might not notice especially with spelling. 2 i get literally nothing from TH-cam, if you can't handle this dont be here. Time spent is already higher than it should be.

Thanks a lot for your videos. I'm noob in Caesar / Augustus so your hints saves a lot of time on investigation and reading tutorials :)

I mean same size garden/path/park/statue have the same desirability. Your video says statues are better than garden at the same size.
Yeah thats a mistake as i just wrote above.@@Ant_Har
water desirability should be buffed, seeing as you are pretty much land locked into not able to further increase desirability
Yeah its pretty bad as it is, we will see if Augustus devs want to change it in the future.
Thank you 🙂
