3:28 The Jackshafts on these bike are the biggest flaw IMO. Because the motor mount plate has groves instead of individual holes, it moves backwards under normal operation, which loosens the #35 chain, causing the driven sprocket on the jackshaft to wear and can cause chain snaps too. I HATE it.
Considering i need a frame for my modded 79cc predator engine, i would definitely get the matte green phatmoto that's with the cargo racks. I'll probably go to an old project will kid did for the 79cc predator engine to make a charging system, that way i run my own light bar for that front rack to to use at night. Wishing I would have timw to make another take if my build, a mk3 with me finally jumping from steel to aluminum.
Swap the crankshaft. Did it with 79cc predator water pump motor. Never disassembled a small engine before. It's not a big deal. Watch teardown videos. What motor they are working on, isn't that important. Principles apply to most
8:41 No, I do get hand fatigue also. I'm thinking about putting white wall tires on in a month or so, and taking memory foam bicycle grips and some brown leather, and start turning my bike into a Boadrtrack racer style bike. I have the Matte Green bike. BTW, how is that headlight on the black bike? I charged mine for 2 days and all I could see was a dim glow AT NIGHT. Broken on arrival.
Thank you and I appreciate the reply I was kind of leaning towards the fat tire just because I feel like it'd be better suspension but I the Rover has been great too
I have a 2019 model rover and just got a 2024 fat tire all terrain 2 weeks ago. I'm not impressed with the fat tires, makes it feel and look like a dirt bike rather than a motorized bicycle like the rover. Aside from that, it's a good solid upgrade to the first ones.
Hey, I found a possible candidate engine, Northstar c180. It's 179cc and I think it would be enough for the frame. I'm aware it's a limit too much on the limits but is it possible?
0:49 Take a cut off wheel and score your own keyway. Just go slow and be careful Maybe try and make some sort of jig if you think it would help. $100 is $100! And otherwise you've wasted your money. How does that old saying go? Waste not want not?
Dude - you are jumping all over the place throughout the video. Get the material organized ahead of time and do one bike completely at a time. Then completely do the other - then sum up your conclusions and wrap it up. This is like you threw it in a blender. The shotgun approach makes it a lot of work for your listeners to try to figure out all the topic changes. You are constantly referring back and forth to topics and performance. The subject matter is cool but hard to follow the narration.

MJTech back doing bikes! Watching you for over three years. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for checking on us!

Thank you dude I'm running a stock 79 cc motor right now and I'm definitely getting upgrade cuz you're really awesome thank you
Good video bro thanks for sharing it nice to see your still doing bikes

You can get the output shaft keyed for a clutch
I have performance parts from AGK. Cam head carb and exhaust made a huge difference.

I wonder what crank fits it
Will the frame and forks of the all terrain fit smaller tires and rims? Or is the frame fixed just for wide tires
1:08 I have the exact frame. And I can tell you without a frame mod, a 212cc predator engine *WILL NOT FIT*.

Im just lookin to scoot around town. 79cc should be plentiful im only 150 pounds.with break lights and all that, can these be tagged in fl
I just put a 79cc with a comet 30 cvt. Would upgrading the to 98cc give me any more power? Running a 30t sprocket on the back 26 inch mag rims
I wonder if a Stage 1 Tillotson 212cc Performance Racing Engine can fit
MJ I have the Old Rover and want to get new Moto what do you like the best the Rover or the fat tire one ?
I like both, but the fat tire one is smoother.
Thank you and I appreciate the reply I was kind of leaning towards the fat tire just because I feel like it'd be better suspension but I the Rover has been great too
i love the fat tire one much more. 13psi is pretty comfortable for me. way more confident on gravel mud and snow.🍻

Can i interchange parts to the phatmoto 79cc lifan engine with the 98cc predator parts will they mount up?

I guess anything is possible, most I seen on these bikes are 190cc 5 speed
I saw an old TH-cam video where a guy used a jackshaft to power his bicycle sprocket and get 10 speeds. Why don't you do that?
Where can I get the phone holder that you have on your bike
Dam!, just bought Ghoust Predator motor!, but could sell it for this upgrade!

awesome stuff, but how can you ride without boots n gloves? 🍻
Like the fat tires.
Ah Plastic Camshaft ? 😵💫
Can be upgraded easily.
Where can i get me an upgraded cam for 98cc coleman MJT? And carb?
I got me one!!!
Help!!!
And how do I break it in?
Keep it under 20mph for how long?
Where do you live? You're allowed to ride these on sidewalks?
Why is he riding on the sidewalk isn't that illegal

Good day Sir! Lol😂
My phatmoto has a gas leak and gas slowly drops down the seat shaft
