We really need to press Stages to put the power meter battery level front and center, rather than a few pages deep in the app. Once you are all configured that is probably the most important information (besides the periodic firmware updates) the app offers.
As an owner of a Dash and sb20 this new update has been a savior... almost felt a little hosed by the products since I got them, now the app is actually useful

Hi Shane the app now has a vibrate setting when change gear. If your phone is on its stand and you change gear you feel the vibrate through the handle bars. Good for when you have fans and music on. 👍
Thanks! Notable that you need an account now to use the app. If you just wanted firmware updates before, you could use the stages power app without creating an account.
THx for this vdo. I have owned SB 20 for a long time. The app is much better than before, but it's really far from perfect...
I am definitely keen to check this out. I absolutely hated the old Stages Lynk app on my IPad (used for the SB20).
Let me know how it goes on the iPad. I've only loaded the iPhone version to date.
I have a 4iiii and it won’t fit on an Aeroad so I think I’ll get one of those bikes I’ll need to get a stages power meter or powermeter pedals. Only reason I’m tempted to get a sram force is because of the crank powermeter it comes with.
May I ask, have you made a long term review of the hunt pairset? Looking forward to it as I’m considering them for triathlon!

Thanks for the update. I like what your doing, it is valuable and you do not disappoint since your always really well inform and your way to display the information is really professional. On the same subject do you know anything about Zwift being able to display the gears on-screen for the Stage Bike Sb20 like they do for the WattBike Atom that would be awesome

Stages link is very much still needed by this app. There are several information pages where you HAVE to have to view these.
Thanks for this Video, I just learnt to add the power cranks too thanks to check on the battery's.
Now I have been using an old Android phone for my Stages SB20 dash and can't understand how to show the crank power display Circle like you've shown in the video, just add the app to my iPhone 13 and all linked up but not power circle? I can't understand why I have gone wrong?
Along the bottom of the app is a play button ▶️ that will bring up the circle/data tab.

The new GPS units? Maybe. I have both of them but have had a few issues they need to be resolved before I'd be happy to use them.
Is there a lap feature within the app?

I see that your Gen3 has Gyro enabled. When I checked mine with the new app mine was switched off. Is this supposed to be switched on? What difference does it make?

Do you have any more details? The SB20 holds ERG set point well for my test protocol.

It's likely their app will only control their smart bike.

Eurobike is usually the place for these things. Whatever I can share/talk about is uploaded as soon as I can on here.
I have tried everything but there is not change to that zwift get the controllers. Bike is great but the software is quiet bad

The old apps may work for a while. Not sure. Likely they’ll pull them from the App Store(s) as this new app replaces them/

Why is the iOS app requesting location data when I want to add a device? This is really poor engineering. (Yes, on Android it is different, does not apply here)
Also, being forced to create an account even if I only want to keep my power meter firmware up to date and not use the other features of the app is stupid.
I’m guessing it’s a ‘catch all’ setting for using the app for recording activities outside. Account creation is a common theme we’re seeing. It allows companies to identify owners/equipment.
