I think I am selling my Champ. Watching videos like this gives me second thoughts. I bought mine in North Carolina and flew it to Northern Nevada. Planning fuel stops is a challange with only 13 gallons. It's a good cross county airplane, but you need time! Mine is a 1946 7AC 65hp Continental.
I love my champ.. watching other videos makes me want something faster and more modern but you cant beat the simplicity. I’m at least going to take it to Oshkosk once. Thanks for the support and holler if you’re ever around West Tennessee 👍
beautiful airplane.. we are fortunate, here in Goodyear AZ to have two world class restaurants... TJs for a traditional American breakfast.. and the best biscuits and gravy this side of heaven.. and Raul and Theresa's Mexican food... I ran into the place for lunch about 50 years ago on my way through... moved here so I don't have too far to go... the airport is right across the street if y'all need some good food... c'mon over home of the Blimp... occasionally
spring starts here at the end of January... temperature in the 20s... Celsius ✌️ currently 17° C.. no ceiling and unlimited visibility... ❤️ a little slice of heaven this time of year
Great video! So many aviation videos fail to highlight the venues they fly to. Show casing your destination adds much to the entertainment value. Great job!
These are the missions, right! Also, I've been to Lamberts (I'm from Texas but visited the area for vacation once). Story: Just had my cast off after breaking my elbow and took 4 attempts before I caught a roll. Not my finer moment considering I played baseball as a kid, but losing 2 inches or reach really messed with me! The folks were friendly and supportive and cheered when I finally caught one!
Hey bud , absolutely fantastic vids keep it up! I got my PPL out of Nashville a few months back and have since moved but videos like these make wanna start filming my adventures. 🤙🏻
Nice video. I didn't know they still ran a shuttle at Lamberts. I went there several times years ago. Do you know Tim Fox and his SIL Cory? I am going to their grass field soon and I thought they had a 172 and 182 at your airport.
Nice little airplane. You had 4 hours of fun and stayed out of trouble on 5 or 6 gallons of gas. At your age you want hours so slow is good for you. Have you taken a date flying yet. You will get fathers who will be unreasonable about letting his daughter fly with you. Tandem seating will help, I told a dates dad it’s not like we are going to pull over and make out. I did not say we are going to land 50 miles south at a dark airport and….that was before FlightAware. Keep up the hard work, it will pay off.

New Champ owner/flyer here. Interested in how you have your radio and antenna run. I'm also local to the west TN area.
Feel free to find me on Facebook or Instagram and shoot me a message. I’d be glad to send pics. You should come fly with me!

I do know them. They are based at an airport about 30 NM from me. Good folks
Cool stuff, Love the cub. Let me know if you want any help with edits!
I’m not far from you. 1/2 Mile from Barkley Field in Paducah.
