#1 thing for players is accountability. Poles is starting to show he would rather save face. 1 keeping Velus on the roster, 2 Nate Davis not being a free agent rn and to top it off with dumping money on swift when we have better players on the roster at RB. Poles is still King 👑 but got damn he’s got some work to do. 🐻 ⬇️
I liked what I saw from Pryor in those preseason games and you saw it too. I think the problem with the O-line is coordinator Chris Morgan. He should be escorted out of Halas hall with mysterious charges against him like the DC was last season. What can we frame him with? Hmmm? lol! Good night and.... BEAR DOWN!!
That's a critical component missing. It's more than one player excelling or another player being a weak link. It's how they move as a unit. Even the best OLs have an occasional breakdown, but they recover and keep their QB clean/upright.
He's listed at 332... right. He is immense. Billings and Pryor are leviathans. I recall one of the announcers refer to Billings as undersized and said he was 311. He hasn't seen 311 since high school, lol
I think Nate hasnt been the same since his family member passed away. his head just doesnt seem into the game anymore. i wonder fi the bears talk about those type of things
I like Pryor! If I remember correctly in the last game the play with DeAndre Smith sweep left with all our o lineman on the ground I think Pryor who was the only olineman that wasn't on the ground.
Matt is 6'7" 350+ lbs not many will move him one on one. btw...im wondering what happen to Jenkins. he was on a roll late last szn. hopefully he rebounds. he's in a contract year btw
@@SwiftSportsNetwork I just saw that Buffalo film breakdown and couldn't let go of.... This guy really wants to protect Caleb. He will go to war for him. And we was getting the opposite from Nate Davis sadly. And Bates spent half his time at Center in an offense that it's his 1st year. But even him I think Pryor is better. At his size he's not slow, he's actually smooth and can make insane blocks. We will pry see him Blk 2 DL 1 on each arm bro. Caleb plays better w/him. There is more trust I think seeing him fight. Maybe next year LG and he can take NTs out 1 on 1. 😂🤷🏻
05:48 you highlight the issue with Davis correctly here. He’s just got a 3 yrs $30 million contract and has actually gotten worse. Next time they need to have a fill in next to Pryor, get the 2/3rd strong that isn’t Davis. Bears can’t trade him because no NFL HC/GM would want to pick up that ridiculous contract for zero effort that he’s shown so far this year. Davis is a bust for the Bears. Let’s resign Pryor to a 1 year guarantee deal. He’s shown heart in this game and during preseason.
So much for the “scheme fit” issue that sent stability guard from the Bears to the Steelers for 1/2 million less than the coat of Davis. These guys are who we thought they were.
Shame that Nate's career seems to have been derailed by mother's death. Pryor is certainly an improvement. I would sure like to see what Bates can do as well!
Anyone can look good when you select specific plays. It's interesting - there's another guy on TH-cam that analyzed every play on the all-22 who said the opposite of you - that Pryor showed he is way worse than Davis. He pointed out the many times that whenever Davis's assignment was getting to the second level to hit safeties or linebackers that he was too slow and ended up standing there blocking no one. Pryor was also responsible (along with others on the line) of not doing a good job of shifting blocks to new defensemen on the plays (like the goal line 4th down play) where the Bears tried to run outside. He completely blew it on that sack that he gave up and he was often pushed back into the pocket causing forced throws or broken plays even if his defender did not get a sack. I'm no O-line expert, just pointing out that there seems to be a difference of opinion here.
That Tittle Hurt bro... You cut me.... You cut me deep..... Pryor played well against a much lower tier interior with an extremely lower rate of pressure than the 1st 2 games.. I like him , I hope he plays center. He looked really good on that LT rep he got..
I thought Pryor did much better than Davis, but the bar was really low. Looks to be a serviceable G with the potential to be above average. I’m just glad the coaching staff did prolong thing move ANY FURTHER!
National host Mike Greenberg (who is a Jets and a Bears fan as he met his wife in Chicago) ripped Ryan Poles yesterday with a well orchestrated oral presentation on the Waddle & Silva show. Silva, a Bears organization bootlicker kept shaking his head. However, Greenberg's delivery was spot on...he literally called Poles completely inept, incompetent, and a newbie thinking he was the right guy to build the Bears. Instead, Poles receive a carved out rear-end hole.
Now they just need to get replace the OC and LG and LT. Notice something about Pryor, he's as big as the OT's and makes the OC and OG look small, even makes Jones look a bit small.
Now…it was well apparent to the naked eye during preseason that Pryor was a better option than Davis. Fire the one responsible for keeping him off the field…coach/management
Good analysis. I'm just confused on why Nate Davis was given that much leash when his capabilities are obviously well beneath this experienced behemoth? It looks like the coaches are not in touch with the reality of their own players and that's a major problem. It was obvious in the preseason that we had better options. We dumped better options than big, dumb, injury prone, crybaby Nate. And the beating we've been dishing out upon Coleman Sheldon is half due to Nate's BULLSHIT field performance. We saw this with Tevin Jenkins, where he was always forced to compensate for Braxton and whoever was at center on his right. His performance was never as good as it could have been and it's a testament to his overall attitude that he's been able to keep himself straight with all that crappy players and coaches bringing him down and keeping him from deserved probowls.
Hope youvare right because Davis came here to retire. Poles is too much of an ego maniac to not let Nate Davis sit on the bench. Same reason the fumble machine Valus Jones keeps helping us lose. Same reason we didn't draft an O line man.
Nate Davis either has CTE or something else going on with him... surely how he is playing this year and last year was not as he was scouted before he was offered a big contract by the Bears. No sense in keeping Davis on the roster.
Chicago should fire they head coach and hired Bill Belichick. Caleb can't be like Mike because Chicago got Doug Collins and they need Phil Jackson instead. Jordan didn't become Jordan until Phil got hired. They need a Coach that knows how to put it all together. Bill gets credit for Brady because he knew how to use the defense to make the offense better. History will repeat itself Chicago will miss a chance of a life time if they don't hire Belichick. Chicago need a reset.
Have you paid attention to Bellichicks last few years in New England? Did you see how he "DEVELOPED" Mac Jones? He hired a DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR to be the OFFENSIVE coordinator. It was a disaster.
Prior sucks I don’t know why all you bears fans. Think this guy is any better. He’s a bum. He’s not any better than Nate Davis. After what I watched they’re both the same you might as well just play. You’re paying them all that money.
The Colts were only rushing 4 when there’s 5 offensive linemen it should be easy to pick up on those late blitzes and stunts. Don’t get to excited for this guy.
Pryor definitely was an improvement over Nate Davis and deserves another start 😁
Can't wait tell we get Kiran on the field to see that young man in action too! And so glad to see Pryor on the field. Chicago up BEAR DOWN 💯🐻🏈
I said in preseason that Matt Pryor should be the starting RG
He kinda looks like the best OL out there at times. I really think 🤔 he could be a piece. Even as a backup, i would extend bro now.
Thank you for your information on the team and not dismissing other people's comments

BEAR DOWN!!
What a difference when a guy has passion for the game
Patients is needed till we find the chemistry in the line
That's a critical component missing. It's more than one player excelling or another player being a weak link. It's how they move as a unit. Even the best OLs have an occasional breakdown, but they recover and keep their QB clean/upright.
Or just making people responsible for their play but in Chicago that’s not what they’re about
8 decades of mediocrity is good enough
Finally, I tried to watch him Sunday and saw some decent work from him.
Love your channel Swifty!
Look how much forward penetration he gets compared to the rest of the line!!!
Matt Pryor is a grizzly bear!
He's listed at 332... right. He is immense. Billings and Pryor are leviathans. I recall one of the announcers refer to Billings as undersized and said he was 311. He hasn't seen 311 since high school, lol
Thanks Swifty. Great analysis and greater news. Now lets find a center
Now if we can just trade Nate Dog for something other than a bag of chips I’d be ecstatic.
at this point I would take an empty pringles can.
@@ericharper812 too fancy bro more like an emply bag of great value chips
Maybe a can of salsa - then feed it to the fishes.
@Brawn_OG Great value lol I buy those lol
I think Nate hasnt been the same since his family member passed away. his head just doesnt seem into the game anymore. i wonder fi the bears talk about those type of things

That isn't saying much... but it's an improvement, LOL
Honestly man Jones was on skates that entire video. Scary
Thanks for all the work you do sir🐻👇
Great breakdown. Agree re Pryor.
This was a really good breakdown
That secind stunt would have absolutely floundered nate davis. He handled it perfectly.
0 chance Nate even stays on his feet lol
100% agree!!
Matt is 6'7" 350+ lbs not many will move him one on one. btw...im wondering what happen to Jenkins. he was on a roll late last szn. hopefully he rebounds. he's in a contract year btw
Jenkins has to help shelton all game. Same thing happened in games last year.
Nate Play to Play Davis
😁😁😁 Thanks Swift.
Any time!

Nate didnt fall, he tripped on the 20 yard line, cmon man!
Great video Swift! Pryor looked steady. Get yourself some pancakes 👨🏻🍳🥞🥞🥞
My man!! Thank you!!! and good morning!

thanks for the comment!
We need Matt Pryor & Kiran Amegadjie in the lineup ASAP including Ryan Bates in Center position.
So much for the “scheme fit” issue that sent stability guard from the Bears to the Steelers for 1/2 million less than the coat of Davis. These guys are who we thought they were.
Nice analysis. I do believe Davis was benched.
Shame that Nate's career seems to have been derailed by mother's death. Pryor is certainly an improvement. I would sure like to see what Bates can do as well!
Excellent!
It’s the way you said, way to enter the game Nate Davis lol

Nate Davis and Braxton Jones’s and Coleman Shelton need too go!!
Honestly, I think Braxton is too light in the keister 😂 nearly every play he's sitting in Caleb's lap. I hope the rookie is stronger than him.
Yup. We've seen enough. Time for Poles ego trippin' that he's such a genius to find a "starter" in the 5th round to end. He's a swing tackle at best.
Really that's the question how he took it? Question should be why wasn't it sooner....
Hope youvare right because Davis came here to retire. Poles is too much of an ego maniac to not let Nate Davis sit on the bench. Same reason the fumble machine Valus Jones keeps helping us lose. Same reason we didn't draft an O line man.
Whoever made the decision to start Davis over Pryor should be fired immediately
career back up looked like best player on our line? uuuuggghhh
It’s pathetic. And we were sold this BS that Chris Morgan would coach them up. This lies on Poles
Nate Davis should have never been handed the job, when he was unprepared and out of shape. Terrible move by the coaching staff
Matt prior played 1/2 a game and is the OL MVP.
Our o line is a “@&$);? Joke and 90%of the coaching staff is also. Incompetence to the MOON 🌖
swifty, and you have people saying Pryor was ot an pgrade in the game. Nate Davis has to go.
Who would give you a bag of chips?
Nate Davis either has CTE or something else going on with him... surely how he is playing this year and last year was not as he was scouted before he was offered a big contract by the Bears. No sense in keeping Davis on the roster.

no way you actually watched nate play this year. Or you are a family member of his.
The Colts were only rushing 4 when there’s 5 offensive linemen it should be easy to pick up on those late blitzes and stunts. Don’t get to excited for this guy.
I am not "too excited", but I am happy with his performance for 1 game at least. Hopefully he can continue playing well.
