Wheezing-Arbok, or rocket deck as I call it, has been my favourite deck since the game launched. I didn’t liked the low damage outside of the psy matchup but Arbok’s trap can lead to such tricky situations and I love the feel of it. I haven’t tried with Wigglytuff EX though, I often ignore it because I don’t like to rely on coin flips to win, but since status can stacks I can see it working because it’s not as big of a commitment as Muk.
As to the question, playing against a friend playing meta decks is WAY better than ladder games. Seeing how an off meta deck does against the top 3 helps show why it's working.
Ive been playing this with hypno instead of wigglytuff. Having a hypno triggering sleep from the bench is nice while you use your energy on setting up retreats and covers to the Koga.
Competing against a friend of yours, who is actually using the top tier decks available as of now, should be the standard. Controlled environment. Judging how well a deck performs purely based off random online games is nonsense, decks, opponent’s experience vary too much. Well done!
Nice, will have to test this one out. Ive been highly enjoying a Tuff Weezy Ninja deck. Similar concept but with bench sniping instead of retreat locking.
Charizard is definitely the worst matchup because the damage is too low to quickly kill Moltres to prevent setup and you gotta hope you can fine and setup wiggly on time. Against pika, you are in a very rough spot if going first but going second you can handle pika with Arbok if they don’t have Giovanni and you can switch it in without prior damage.
@@peterholmes7440I agree I feel like this deck is the solid counter to mewtoo, while lacking against pika and archar. Like you said earlier it's a lot harder to do damage especially if they get a good hand off rip. Pika can be complicated because if you don't trap early, they're gonna steam roll through your Kogas. I still haven't found the good middle ground for this deck yet. Good against 1 of the 3 meta decks is still kind of rough.
Ahahaha ive been using the same deck for a few weeks now, it’s fun to make the metas quit early. The old weez arbok deck was so lacking so i decided to put another tank that can damage put opponents to sleep while poisoned and found wiggly the perfect fit. Ive another non meta non ex deck that gave me the 5 win streak.
So basically the only time you used the wiggly, you drew it instead of an arbok and it missing the coinflip cost you the game. Kinda makes me wonder why put the wiggly in an already functional arbok weezing deck.
Idk. Doesn't seem to matter what is actually strong, how am I still missing one or two crucial pieces? I've opened all the packs evenly, received around 1200 cards in total, I'm missing 22 cards from the base. But the ones I'm missing? Gardevoir, wiggly ex, starmie ex, Pikachu ex, Moltres ex. Every single one that is needed for a good meta deck lmao I've gotten 5x marowak ex, 4x Gengar ex, the only ex I have more than 1 of besides those are Mewtwo (but no energy engine), Articuno (but I hate coin flips), and Lapras.... I finally caved and spent pack points for sabrinas and Gios, and a single kangaskhan, working on a single Gardevoir now. I just can't get the right rolls. 204/226
Very cool deck! Wouldn't it better to have a Giovanni instead of a second x speed? That way you can kill things more reliably like 2 shotting a mewtwo with arbok and wiggly even after a potion
That’s what I was wondering, I think it can work well. X-Speed is mostly to pivot from Arbok or Wiggly back into Wheezing without debuilding your energy too much, that’s something to test.
@@peterholmes7440I did the tests, the second x speed is overall much more consistent. Giovanni only helps in specific situations in certain matchups like mewtwo and pika, bur x speed is useful in every single game. Also it combos incredibly well with Sabrina, since you can’t use her and koga in the same turn and you win 90% of games with Sabrina anyway.
Im honestly suprised people are finding so much success with arbok wheezing cause everytime I seem to use it the 60 damage tickles on the arbok and wheezing just feels awful to play
The low damage definitely doesn’t help. The big issue is Charizard EX. You can’t prevent the Moltres setup and they can usually sweep you once Moltres dies. The Mewtwo matchup is like 80/20 for you at worst and the Pika matchup is manageable if you go second, which is alright for a 1 prize deck. What really saves the deck is Koga scooping up weakened Wheezing.
The first match was against M2. No Wiggly play, but hard counter = free win. Second and third match, no Wiggly play and you got smoked. So tell us, what was the point of this video, other that to tell us that someone made it far in a tournament, but ultimately lost.
I don’t think you can reduce a top 4 placement out of 1500 to “but they didn’t win” man 😭 I showed what the wigglytuff does. It’s a 1-1, it isn’t meant to be used every single game. That’s how you beat Charizard, you put them on a 50/50 chance to lose if they run hot.
He should have lost the first game too, the opponent played so bad, didn't play around Sabrina when playing into Arbok - and he attached an energy onto his dying Gardevoir instead of his M2 with 3 energy which would have let him double psydrive for a win
Do you understand that gardevoir can only attach to a psychic type in the active zone, where gardevoir cant have moved from? Do you also understand that against this deck you cant play around sabrina with mewtwo because youre going to have nothing on field to survive with? You can play around sabrina in the times that sabrina doesnt matter but theres nothing you can do to save yourself from it, this deck auto wins against Mewtwo unless you brick and they open godly and drae godly -Undead@noreadingcomprehension
Legit ripped off 5 straight wins with this deck mewtwo is free and I beat water decks haven’t run into Archazard or Pikachu ex yet but I would imagine you just have to get lucky with sleep.
I just wanted to say thank to you, this deck gave me the 5 wins for today’s event, against the most meta decks out there
Awesome!!! Glad you wrapped it up quick :)
Same. Got 5 wins after on 1 loss before completing

The player piloting the deck made some good plays.
He’s a great player for sure
This deck got me through the Genetic Apex SP Emblem Event. Got 5 wins on the first try
Those were some tuff games, hopefully I can pull a wiggly soon I really fw this deck -Undead
Literally just pulled it -Undead
holy manifested unreal
I've had two for a while -Alive
This deck is so good!! It got me 5 wins in the event today 😊 Thanks a bunch for the Team Rocket deck

I really like the meta gauntlet style approach.
Finally pulled one today and had enough pack points to grab a second! Can't wait to start making these decks
Nicely done with the video!
Thanks tank!
Your friend plays really good too definitely better than ladder
Cheers bro -Undead
Been using this deck since the last event. It's my go to deck and got got me the victory in the 5 matches i played this morning.
okay I hope this isn['t dumb to ask but how do you enter into these tournaments?
Play dot limitlesstcg dot com
They’re free, just make an account and look for upcoming tournaments to enter!

Can confirm, this deck is really good against meta.
Nice, will have to test this one out. Ive been highly enjoying a Tuff Weezy Ninja deck. Similar concept but with bench sniping instead of retreat locking.
I enjoy playing this but my arboks and sabrinas are always the last 4 cards in my deck,
So that just results in me losing.
This is such an easy and good deck to play, decimated a pikachu and mewtwo deck
Corner is such a fun effect, love Arbok
The Mewtwo matchup is free but Pikachu is a coin flip I can’t imagine it being more the 50/50 I think this deck will have problems with Archazard.
Charizard is definitely the worst matchup because the damage is too low to quickly kill Moltres to prevent setup and you gotta hope you can fine and setup wiggly on time.

My greninja deck lost 3 times in a row because I couldn't get froger or whatever base one is at all. Also I never got prof oak twice.
i like how this does not run two jiggly as I do no like it when I start the game and I only have two jigglypuffs in my active and bench
i still need a second wheezing and koga but this seems so fun!
This and blaine decks are so fun
This Deck is so good
Finally? I been running wigglys since i got 2
THIS IS LITERALLY THE DECK I RAN I made it in preparation
So basically the only time you used the wiggly, you drew it instead of an arbok and it missing the coinflip cost you the game. Kinda makes me wonder why put the wiggly in an already functional arbok weezing deck.
Need one more koga for this deck

bro is the master of yapping for watch time. great content bro
1,600 tournament?! I thought it was 160
Yes but why does your opponent get 2 chances per turn to wake up after being put to sleep….. smh

Everyone is running pika in this event 😂😂
So basically, my Jessie James Deck but add Wigglytuff
Exactly, wiggly steals games you’d otherwise have no chance in
@TillyTCG exactly. I needed more of an oomph and wiggly might be it
Shhhh don't tell them about this one
Been maining a deck very similiar to this since day one
wait I've fought you LMAO
