I actually JUST bought this bottle moments ago, and it certainly makes me feel like an Alter-Ego Aventus. Uniquely musk, but not officially dark/spicy or bold. Much like Montblanc Explorer, the opens up with an Aventus-like intro, yet gradually dries down into its own beautiful blend of notes. Truly unique blend! I'll wear this both day and night.

I have black walnut legend and the opening is like a fresh cut pineapple the dry down is different than Aventus The icon colognes are unisex, I have vintage green and it leans more masculine with the fig note, I also have black platinum and it sounds masculine but the rose note leans it towards feminine. Great review, because this one does get some dislikes and I see no reason why.
Just bought this at Burlington for 20$$.. I also have Club de nuit edt and the edp. I like this but I like the club edp a lil bit more and obviously the performance ain't as good on black walnut like Club but great review.. Rest in peace Carlos.. I enjoy watching you brother keep up the good work
What is the performance on the banana republic walnut legend? What do you get out of it anyway?
@@nyhcdude to be honest I have like 120 bottles of cologne I only wore that one like 2 but I get about 4 to 5 hours it's average

great review. youre right it moves nicely into the dry down . i like it .projection isnt beast mode but it moves into the air just fine for casual situations.

@@blackknightdl not to me. While it definitely resembles Aventus in the opening and early drydown, it goes in a different direction mid and far drydown. You can grab it from fragrancenet or fragrancex for anywhere between $55-59 to try it for yourself.
@@blackknightdl the opening hour or hour and half, projection is moderate but to me it doesn't project anywhere how Aventus or CDNIM does

This smells more like Mont blanc explorer than aventus imo. Its pretty close to Abercrombie Authentic too

The longevity on my skin is absolutely atrocious. 1 hour then I have to bury my nose in my arm. Smells good though.
