Eric question. How much shrinkage is calculated if a 5mm piece of stock is used to make a mold. The actual size I need is 4.5mm. I never made a mold seeing you use this product all the time. Thanks

Hello Eric - Have you ever done electroplating?
Personally not but have had many parts electroplated over the years...why?
@@EricStrebel I make prop replicas as a hobby. I just stink at finishing and painting. I see electoplating as an alternative for bright metallics. There are a lot of videos about it, but also dozens of different methods. I can typically trust your content so was juzt curious if you had a video planned eventually.
But if you have not tried it.. then thats ok. I am going to just have to do a ton of research to make sure that I spend my money wisely..
So, recently I have been 3d printing my parts with pcbway, and they offer electroplating in various colors, quality is very good. You can find a pcbway link in this video actually.

@@EricStrebel hey Eric the issue was with TH-cam all I did was clicked on it and it opened. So someone at that end made it live active by mistake. I use to fingers to type no were close to a hacker. I would question them on that end.
