I enjoy something different from the typical LA girl!! It’s cool to see someone who worked hard and achieved their dreams and it’s really inspiring. Plus the FOOD. Also, seeing the streets of Korea really fascinated me (idk if that’s weird) but the differences between Korea and us really intrigue me.

Healthcare worker here. I just want to let you know that when you touch the outside of your mask and then touch your drink straw you have contaminated your drink. But, after you touch the outside of your mask you should immediately wash or sanitize your hands. The safest way to grab it is to take the string from behind your ears, then sanitize your hand and then touch your drink. I'm not trying to say this in a mean way but just for your information since you're in a country that is having issues because of the coronavirus.
I moved to Korea last month! When I was considering coming to teach, I looked up some different youtubers to see what life in korea was like, and your videos (and Cari Cakes) helped me make the decision to come! Now I live near Seoul!

I think we graduated during the same time and you moved to Korea and I’ve always wanted to live abroad so your videos became something I watched for inspiration. Now I’m moving to Germany for my first full time job and I watch your videos to understand how it’ll be to move abroad alone with your dog. I started watching just a few months ago, but I went on vacation with one of my best friends to Tokyo for 10 days, Seoul for 8 days, and Jeju Island for 2 days. While we were in Seoul, I fell in love with everything about Korea! The food, the culture, the people, the places, etc...I am a music teacher, and a friend of mine teaches music and English on Jeju Island, so I'm currently looking into moving permanently to Korea and teaching! Your vlogs actually ended up in my recommendations, and I watched and LOVED it! :D

I’ve only seen a few of your videos but I seek out this type of content because there’s something oddly comforting about watching someone living a life completely opposite of mine, and knowing such a different life is possible. Almost like if I get tired of being a miserable nursing student in San Antonio, Texas, there is a possibility I could move to South Korea and spend my day sitting in a cafe. It’s just nice knowing someone has done it, so I could too if I wanted to.

I'm watching because TH-cam recommended your Korean apartment tour since I watch a lot of home, apartment, and tiny house tours. I've also been looking at a lot of coronavirus stuff, and the day after your channel got recommended to me, you posted the video that had coronavirus in the title, so I've been sticking around to see what is going on over there. I also just graduated from college in May and have a lot of friends doing similar things abroad like you are, so I'm curious. You also look like someone I grew up with.

To me your face noticeably looked so much better in the clip the morning after Seoul! I started watching your videos when you were in college, you’ve really inspired me with the way you study and manage to eat the best you can!! I also want to move to Asia because of you now just giving me the idea that I can do whatever I want! There’s no place in the US that I find intriguing enough to want to go there immediately when I’m done with college. Learning a new language and a whole new culture that I feel would be more fitting to me is what I would rather do and sounds then most fun to me! Started watching your videos when you were at uni, really enjoyed the study vlogs but not only. You have a nice vibe, Cleo is really cute. Never been to Korea and its not a goal to go there but that’s just where life got you and it is interesting to see. I watch your videos because I really like your personality and vlog style. You don't do all these crazy extra things in them like the TH-camrs in LA feel like they have to. You're genuinely showing us your day/week in a real setting and you're being genuine about things. Also your face does look more defined, it's not a big change but enough of one to make you look twice and go "something is different" it looks good though!

The power of TH-cam suggested videos! I am in the Midwest. I, for years, have watched American homemaker vlogs. Seriously...watching women clean and decorate their homes, cook dinner and buy their groceries. I've learned a lot from them though!. No joke! Still my OG favorites. Then, I'll be honest, I watched some BTS videos trying to understand what all the fuss is about (which I now get, by the way - I'm in love). From that YT mashed those things up and started suggesting Korean/Japanese homemakers to me, which I wasn't originally interested in, but then I found a few that I adore. They almost always have captions (if they speak at all, some are silent), so the different languages is not the issue I feared it would be. I seriously think the Asians vloggers I follow have the most beautifully filmed vlogs, so aesthetically pleasing. It's crazy. They are so peaceful and calming and look like they were filmed by a professional videographer. Such a change from the American vloggers, who are always a little chaotic and go go go.. At some point last Fall that led me to you. It's interesting to get an American's perspective on such a different place. You are seriously so brave. I am so envious that you had the courage to go to a place so far away from home, didn't speak the language and knew no one, to start your career. And you seem to be having a wonderful time. I'm planning to move to Busan later this year with my dog, so it's a lot of fun for me to see what life's like there. I especially enjoy your videos because you have Cleo with you. Your videos give me hope that soon I'll be living a better life because right now I'm living on an island in the middle of nowhere, and I have no friends close by.
I just want to say thank you that even though schools were closed down, and what not You still took the time to go out, and not live in fear. Thank you for being real about it, and showing that people still have to live life as an adult. A lot of people seem to want to shut down currently here in the US even though the situation isn’t even near as scary yet, and as someone who works in health care it’s frustrating to see people would let their fear control their lives.
